Deinonychus will attack in packs o four usually and will give bleed

I got a deinonychus egg and brought it to my base and I made like 17 standing torches and when it started incubating, it said it was 32-33 minutes until it would hatch. On here, it said it would take 5 hours to hatch, and I didn’t have any multipliers in the game. Hope this helps someone.

Have a tribe member on an argy grapple the argy then pluck the eggs while in the air and fly away . Easy way to make top tier kibble

Best way to tame them I’ve found is to get a pt and fly near the debonychsy and lead them off a cliff then pillage to your delight

Grab a ptearonodon, snap those ankles off the cliff. Then you grab those eggs, incubate, then go f@#% around with it.

Simple guide on how to tame,

First, you bring a flying animal, argy recommended in valguero, white cliffs exactly.

Find a nest, or look for deinonychus, they don’t spawn for no reason.

Grab it then run,they WILL chase you, then head back to your base.

Use ac, incubators or AC, hatch it, then raise it. And boom! DEINONYCHUS!

There nests are flat on the ground insted of being on some kind of dent on a wall like wyverns and rock drakes

It took me 12 to 15 air conditioners to hatch eggs

You can obtain the egg if you kill all the Deinos around/close to the nest, best to kill them if your on a cliff so they cant reach you [thats how i stole an a egg]

If you play as a duo drop your friend off with a pterodactyl or a different flying animal they will grab the egg and you can pick them up. If things go wrong tell your friend to run and the Deinonychuses will go after them then safely take the egg. I got two eggs in one go

Okay, if your going to get an egg, you only need :

Pteranodon with good health and melee, just in case if you get latched onto.

Torches, better be prepared so you don’t end up like me all the time.

Bait, just in case.

Go to chalk hills with your ptera and look for a nest, if you find one that has many near it, do not go there. I usually look for 1 or 2 near a nest because I can kill them. If the only one there is an alpha, try and lead it away with any high lvl thing you have. Next is to quickly go down and snatch it up, if it’s a low level don’t worry, these things in a pack at low lvls can shred through things with ease. Once you’ve gotten your egg, place 10 - 20 torches based on what your temperature is. When it hatches, put normal meat into it and imprint it. Have fun grabbing one!

After you've gotten an egg you'll need use 10 to 12 torches depending on how cold it is

If you put down around 25 standing torches you can hatch deinonychus and wyverns.

Use any flying mount and fly over the nest land and snatch the egg making sure there are no Dino’s nearby and fly away. We got four eggs very early in the game but are stuck on hatching the eggs.. hope this helps. ;)

Best way to find the nests is to look for 3 or more in a group. The nests should be near by.

To get one of these one the Nintendo Switch version, you will need to go to Genesis 2 and use commands to spawn the Gauntlet Mission variant (check Ark.wiki.gg Deinonychus page for the command) and use ForceTame on it. You will not be able to ride it even with a saddle, but you can use the command GetEgg while looking at it to acquire a fertilized normal deinonychus egg that you can hatch and use like a normal tame.

To "tame" a Deinonychus, you have 2 options.

Option 1. You will need strong creature, and nests. After you will find the nest you have To jumper off your creature, get egg and kill every deino, that will try To attack you. After getting every egg you could find, use Egg Incubator, or 5-7 air conditioners To hatch them (the like 90°C To start hatching).

Option 2. You will need fast creature, like a Pt, wyvern or griffin, and nests. You have To find nests, ten land near one, grab the egg, and run away. Better fly near the ground, over the Cliff, because deinos are stupid, and they will fellow you, no matter what.

Just Get a pteranodon, argy or a griffin and steal an egg and you got a jumping boy
