When hanging on the wall you slowly use stamina. So you can’t use that to evade predators forever

Just pick them up with your Argy or let them jump on. Then just kill them in the air. After you clear the area go collect your eggs :)

Getting eggs for these on Valguero super easy for low levels:

Step 1: spawn in the chalk hills area near the end of the lake and there should be an abundance of lymantria

Step 2: speed run a lymantria saddle and then easily tame a lymantria with a bola and a bow(no crossbow needed)

Step 3: distract the deinonychus when you find a nest, lure them away and use the fart attack on lymantria, quickly hurry back to the nest and steal the egg, you must be very quick, even though the Lymantria can slow down the deinonychus

Step 4: hatch all the eggs, use about 15 standing torches lined up like this in rows of 5: _

Step 5: breed these for health, stamina, weight, and melee as these are the most important stats for deinonychus

Step 6: make packs of 5 and go kill pretty much anything with them, they can easily kill tamed gigas if mutated and they are also great as an all-around mount for PVE and PVP, they are insanely fast travelers, can be boss killers, are are overall super useful because of their fall damage negation, high attack, bleed damage, fast speed, charge jump, and somewhat of a climb ability.

DO NOT TAME THESE WITH LOW LVL FLYERS my ice wyvern (10) died REALLY fast to a lvl 61 deinonychus tame them with quetzal also make sure

They are not focused on you I recommend having 2 players one distracts and one steals I got 3 in 10 min with this

Fun fact : deinonychus means terrible (deino) claw (nychus)

Literally just lure them off a cliff and you can get the all the eggs you want with no stress

Did anyone else know you can charge their jump, tell others if you didnt. Was just hopping around murdering everything when I got distracted and was holding jump, surprised when I looked back and let go to see her leap!

My partner and I took our flyers and while one distracted the group by the nest the other collected eggs. No kill no muss no fuss. To hatch just build a fireplace and place eggs near. This was very successfulI in that we had six hatch within 30 game minutes.

They have a awesome jump attack (works best on diplodocus how I know),but the weakness of it is thatched you latch on big dinos they can sometimes hit you(if I’m not wrong).They can’t take fall damage and can climb (when they climb it doesn’t work so well at all).Getting them in packs is very useful and they can jump high and can make alpha buff(like direwolf).(I’m sorry if I wrote something wrong because I’m German)What do you think?Up if they are good.

Use a crystal wyvern to take the eggs very quickly I got 12 eggs in 15 minutes with a wyv

If you want to steal the eggs make sure they're no Deins around or kill them. When I stole the eggs they didn't show up in my inventory.

Raptor on steroids, they have pack bonuses and cause bleeding that stack 5 times which makes them mountain removers, they can mount on the side of large creatures (not bosses though) and can't be damaged by that creature its attached to. Takes no fall damage has slowed falling combined with the ability to charge jump and can attach to walls, this guy is able to take on a low level Rex by itself. They also are easy to get because they get distracted by everything but just dip after snaging an egg.

I use a good argie & kill off the parents then grab all the eggs. Hatch any level 140 & over then kibble the rest. Can get 20+ eggs in 30 min easy.

My brother was nervous when he was about to tame one but he went in with a parasaur distracting them and took one from the nest and ran like the wind named it Robin

Let wild kangaroos lire them away then swoop in to grab the eggs

U can actually use them for the dragon boss,with some rex,because the dragon usually attacks the rex, I hope it helps(it's my first tip)

These guys can climb up other ppls dinos gates they use to make a huge fence with, even on PVE.
