Dark Fate
Dark Fate
Chaptee 13(right..?)
The battle was long and hard. Chroneo didn't know how he felt about it; Darkwater went with Vein to protect Hurricane incase anything happens. His brother was probably the most sneaky fighter he'd ever see, and Unnigh was speedily running around helping warriors.
Chroneo just fought. It seemed like not a scratch landed on him. He brought down several heirs- some where bigger than him. Everyone knew the Crystal Queen would wait behind the raging crowd. She was hiding somewhere.. And after the heirs were gone, she'd die. Chroneo would kill her himself, deliver the final blow. He HAD to. She killed Flame!
A new burning ball of rage flamed inside him. Looking ahead, Chroneo saw a younger ember warrior being cornered by several blood heirs.
Chroneo raced ahead and slashed the face of one of the heirs, then blasted the other with fire. He whipped his tail across the last one and clawed her wing.
Rage fueled the fight for freedom as he knocked over a smaller tropical heir, then clawed his eyes. Chroneo flew up and glanced around him. The heirs, only distinguishable by a weird crystal glow, were greatly outnumbered.
Chroneo fought more and more until the fight was called.
"The heirs are done for!" Deuvo shouted. "Time to find the Crystal Queen- come with me!"
A whole crowd of yutys, wyverns, EVERYTHING Chroneo could imagine stormed to the south, towards the ocean.
A shadow fell over the front lines. A huge, red wyvern with a pale white skull on her face arose.
"Oh, please," she hissed, "meet my elite team, will you?"
One hundred more heirs raced out. They could easily outnumber them, but they were hard to defeat.
Chroneo chose a smaller heir and dashed over, pouncing. She rolled over and kicked him in the face, and Chroneo blasted a plume of fire and smoke at the tropical. She dodged. He twisted around and pinned her down with his wing talons, slashing her side. She fled.
More hours of constant fighting- exhausting, yet exhilarating. Finally, they were gone.
The shadow fell once more, and a scorching silence rippled through the air.
"The Crystal Queen," someone whispered.
