Dark Fate

Before this was The Crystal Lands in Crystal Wyvern section; Trust me, you wont get any of this unless you read that first.

A fanfiction made by Seasnake.

Chapter 1

A slow, steady beat hovered him in the air. But it was darkness that surrounded him. A hard eggshell was keeping him from the outside world. He tried to break the eggshell. Then he felt a stop in the steady moving forward, and a drop. Then he stopped again, and went into something cushioned. A tight barrier was around him. He tried spitting at it, small red flakes dissolving in the liquid. No? He tried doing a different kind of spit. Very cold. No..? He tried to split the egg and push on it with his tail. Yes! It's breaking! Then, he shoved his tail out. It was very, very cold outside. Unexpected.

He then rolled his egg over and broke the sides, tumbling out.

It was very, very bright out. The ground was cold and white and flecks fell from the sky. He was inside of some kind of.. Dome. Made of brown and green thingys.

A few other creatures stood ahead of him. A red dinosaur. A fluffy orange and black dinosaur. A fluffier smaller blue and white dinosaur.

And three dark orange wyverns, with two bigger wyverns next to him.

The three dark orange wyverns, one had muscles, one was thin and lean, and the other was a curious female. The rest were male, they were juvenile.

The two larger wyverns, one was a female black and red wyvern with big wings and the other was a blueish green one.

"He looks so.. Weak." The red one sighed.

"I know, Vein, hopefully he will survive. We thought with the small egg." The greenish one said. Vein looked at one of the flame wyverns, ths muscles, and sighed.

"Your egg was so big, Chroneo, I wish he was. Should we even name him? Or wait, to see if he survives."

"Hurricane? Can you go get some crystals?" Vein asked. Hurricane nodded and flew off.

This wyvern certainly didn't feel weak. He felt like he could climb the highest mountain and soar over the toughest breeze!

Oh wait. Okay, now he did. Trying to stand up, his legs wobbled. There was no muscle or strength to him. Just some weird flesh and bones sticking out.

"Mugh, mugh," he tried to talk. His throat hurt.

Hurricane flapped in, carrying shiny rocks.

"Grab this," he instructed.

"Yom," the small wyvernet said, grabbing the shiny rocks.

He felt much better after doing that.

The rocks now looked like boring gray pointy rocks.

"Though he's cute," Vein started, "I think we should wait to name him, I just don't want him to die after getting named."

Hurricane nuzzled her. "Whatever you say, my love."

The fluffy big dinosaur stuck her tongue out. He liked her. The small wyvernet crawled to her, and dropped at her feet, exhausted.

"Please help," she said, "Vein, this is your child, please help me."

"Blicket, push him to me," the other fluffy one said.

"No, Quinter!" Vein objected. "Give him to me."

She came over to him and picked the wyvernet up.

"Actually," she said, "I think I know what to name him."

"What, Dark Fate?" Chroneo joked. "He's never going to survive with those puny bones."

"Shut it! He may. I think I want to call him.. Darkwater."

Hurricane came over. "Are you sure that's what you want to name him?"

"Yes," Vein answered. "I know that's what his name is."
