everyone talks about how awesome these thing are, but to tell the truth, THEY ARE ACTUALLY USELESS! All they do is sit on your shoulder and get killed when ur attacking by troodons. Monkeys are better for a shoulder pet cause they throw poop at enemies.

I was riding my raptor. I notice a compy, then a sh*t load of its friends ( like 10 - 20) spawned in. My raptor killed the others, I jumped off him, I knocked the compy out, I put in some prime meat, it was tamed, I named it lil chomper, I put him on my shoulder, I got on my raptor, two ark days later, a dilo came, killed lil chomper, I killed the dilo, and a carno killed me. My raptor survived. This is a true story. It happened to me. DONT tame a compy near the forest! I learned this the HARD way!

Just imagine an army of these it would be a disaster

If you want to find a Compy when you are lv1: Look at the engrams on the beach, you will find at least 3 Compys and 1 Dilo behind you.
