What are tips for castoroides? Tips and strategies for castoroides in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
A great taming bug for these guys is to let them wake up, set your starve timer and let the narcs run out on them, then, when the timer is almost up, ko them again and drop the kibble in, saves you tons of narcotics
I can 1v6 of those things using a epic 180 dmg sword. (Mobile)
That are cute
And helpful for wood
BOLA AND TRAUNQ IT!
ADFDFGFGFF!
if you want a easy way to tame get a Dino that can pick it up make out of wood or stone shoot it then that’s it
Taming is stupid if you only play a little bit at a time this is not the one for you. just got done taming a 145 lv and it took one and a half stack of narcotics and two stacks of bio toxin and you have to stay with it the hole time I fed it with corn and it took 2 1/2 hrs to tame last one I will ever do and the taming on mine is set at 2x it is 1:27 am and my ass is going to bed I almost feel asleep taming it so if you don't have the time don't do it I could have took my two birds and got as much wood in the time it took to tame it just take a bird and pick it up away from the dam and take the wood from there just leave one stack so it will come back and put more in. Like so ppl will see this have fun. Oh and now it a level 188 after taming it so I better get my wood out of it for my time. Thanks everyone for the like
So.... I put some food in its inventory, went away and unloaded it to get the beaver dam loot, and cane back to it fully tamed. It took me like 2 minutes max, exploit this while it works!
Casteroides are quite strong. Chomping through hide armor is no problem for these guys. (I am not kidding)
(I hope I am right about this tip)
I just tamed two of these guys in less than a minute, as they were both starving to death. The first one was a female who I named Blossom while the second was a white male who I named Rascal. I have two other beavers currently - Going in the following order: Amber, Woodchucker, Blossom and then Rascal being the fourth. They are deeply appreciated teammates in my singleplayer animal tribe, and are definitely going to be useful in the near future. Now, that being said, if you see an animal that looks like it is starving like Blossom and Rascal were, or is in any other kind of physical or health related issue, call any agency who handles this kind of thing you may know of, and try to keep it alive until help has come. Thank you for reading.
Please oh god please use the soothing balm when taking it works really well
The best way to kill them is hit them with an arrow wait for them to come to you then you a bola to keep them in place and hit them in the tail to kill them
It works so good that I had to do it twice
Just don't tame him he is so irritating
Have level 1000 and you could kill a T-Rex
If you temd one and can't ride it because you don't have a saddle it's still very useful!!! Have it follow you while your gathering and put all of your wood, thatch, and stone on it. It has a good amount of weight, and wood weighs 20% less and stone weighs 10% less.
It took me 1500 narcs to yame
