What are tips for castoroides? Tips and strategies for castoroides in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
On rag, i looted a dam or two and then i run towards another, and when i look behind me.. i see an ARMY of them running at me, they were all different colors too so it was like being chased by a rainbow. Utterly terrifying in an army...
If you have alot of them in a lake net the one you want and then go to your Dino kill the others and then watt for in to un net and it will be still going after you then net it and nock it out with what ever
TIPP: (Wood generator)
As you know the Castoroides is one of the best wood collector and there is one interessting fact about him. He collects wood if a tree is in Front of him. But not like a doedicurus, the doedicurus surches for Stones to destroy them. The castoroides just collects the wood if it is in Front of him.
So I had an idea, what uf I place him right in Front of a tree so he instanly collects the wood when it spawns and it worked. Everytime I look inside his Inventar he has about 600 wood.
Do what I did and enjoy your wood generator👍

Just use a Pteranodon to fight, watch your stamina. Easy peasy.
If u want to tame a Castoroides all you have to do is get on a rock that the Castoroides can’t get on than shot it with the slingshot but be in a place we’re they can’t escape or put walls around and be sure that there is only one beaver because if there are more than one it makes it very hard to tame a Castoroides. Hope this helps 😸
This how I raid beaver dams in ark:
First you should get a trex or some other tall, aggressive Dino. You will need them to hop on and escape or to kill the angered beavers. I recommend taking the cementing paste, peals , flowers and mushrooms first, depositing them in a chest then getting the wood. Since wood is heavy, drop it after picking it up. Once all items are taken from the dam it will break and the beavers will build a new one.
On mobile you can passive tame with wood like so mobile players know this
F***ing douch bag, castor on steroïdes man worry about him it's hella OP
Better off just killing them as soon as you see them. Free pelt, and leaves room for more giant beaver dams to spawn.
This is beaver his name is Ryan waila
Don't touch their dams.. I repeat don't touch them.. Unless you have a dino that can fly with a saddle and can bear the weight...
If you encounter don’t go in the water.
Steps to take
1 get tranq arrows
2 get cross bow
3 place inside crossbow
4 knock it out
5 feed veggies , kibble , or megoberry
6 name it whatever you want
Why has nobody thought of this, tranq arrows/darts obviously are used to knock Dino’s out, but for the first time I am using it to keep creatures knocked out, my castroid was below 190 torpor, and it filled the 350 torpor completely, I still do not know exactly how much torpor it does to different creatures, but I know 100% sure that it does well over 150 torpor to them, so to the players saying, “I for some reason keep crafting tranq arrows/darts and have 10000s, but do not have bio toxins etc. you can just shoot the creature if it has a high enough health pool. Very useful for Castroids, which decimate any torpor increasing things. I would use method on Giga because it would only take out like 20 health (40 on castroids) and the have a lot and drain torpor.
The stuff inside the dams isn’t the best if you really want to kill them just get sarco and there all cooked
Tame by tranq arrows, fed raw meat.
When equipped a saddle it becomes a smithy 😱😂

If it is alpha, shoot it with a crossbow and escape. If it’s a pack, kill all of them (or just the males or just females) but make sure, kill the alpha because he is the leader
