This is the FASTEST way to tame a Carno…

Step 1: Find XP notes and ONLY upgrade movement speed

Step 2: Find Carno and make sure u at least have a bow and tranq arrows

Step 3: Shoot the Carno and once it gets too close for comfort run only a little bit turn around and shooting repeat the process over and over until it starts running and now chase it down and keep shooting until unconscious feed it meat because it’s a carnivore and boom u have a Carno

PS: U can use the same idea for Rexs Theris Dire Bears Dire wolves Raptors etc

You will need 24 stone door frames or 16 I was building a rex trap until I realized it was to small, 4 stone foundation 6 wooden ramps or 4, 20-30 narcotics, Tranq arrows or darts, a flying creature to ride and then lead it into the trap. Feed it meat or kibble and bam u have yourself a carno.

When you encounter a wild Carnotaurus in or near a forest, walk towards him, so that he is between you and the trees. He will go away from you to attack you with his charge run attack. By doing so he has a high chance of getting stuck between the trees. Now you can knock him out savely. But remember to chop down the trees when he is knocked out, because when he is tamed he will start running and bugging when the trees are still there.

Here's an easy way to tame early on: Hunt raptors, they can drop tranq arrows. Get the bow engram(lvl 10). Tame a parasuar (they have decent health). Ride the parasuar, and knock out the carno. Make sure you can keep it knocked out. It does take forever to tame them.

When you have tamed it level up it's health and keep it away from fire, to revive it it cost 10 amber

Pretty reliable mount in early game. To kill at low level get the high ground, to tame either attack from up high or lock in a taming box. A few tranq arrows and its down.

When I saw a raptor, I mounted my carnotourus to kill it, but 6 more raptors came. The raptors killed me and my carnotourus.

If ur on mobile this is the easiest cave Dino for me. My carno gives me hunter artifact to turn into soothing balm for gigas

Use a few reinforced dinosaur gateways. Place them like this (top view)

You do not need a trap just some tranq arrows and they are one of the best dinos to get

How to tame a Carno. Number 1, get regular kibble (if you have any), some narcos, Tranq arrows, crossbow, Four stone foundations, 8 stone door frame, and 2 wooden ramps. Number 2, Set up the trap, and lead the carno to the trap. Number 3, Knock it out until knocked out and feed it regular kibble or raw prime meat or raw meat. Make sure to secure the area. And boom! Carno tamed. Good for traveling.

Do not try to tame this thing underwater even though it doesn't show a oxygen tank it still dies

I'm taming one right now actually they are very easy to tame even at lv 50 just use a platform higher than they and you should be good lol I use my neighbors boat XD it takes along time to tame but worth it you need meat to tame at least or get special items for after tame

For a tip made by me I was rushing and didn’t explain anything but on ark mobile they do not have the bleeding effect but on console they I’m not sure about pc I don’t play that

But now how to tame

I recommend that you find a dence beach or cliff and use a sling or tranq aroows

For meat I recommended 15-20

These things are great to get as early as possible great for hunting with r dilos as they make a great hunting party with the dilos spit slowing the prey and the Carnos doing all the damage this can also be done with raptor and dilos

Never, EVER try to tame a pack of carnos following a yuty.

I looked made trap of stone because they can’t break stone walls and door frames and big doors and kibble and jelly fish jel helps oh and I got it at level 39

On here it says you can carry them with a wyvern but I’ve been trying and I can’t seem to do so idk if it’s wrong or if I just suck 😂

How to tame a carno,

1. Lead it to a rock,

2. Go on a higher rock that the carno can't get up,

3. Craft about 50 or more of tranq arrows,

4. Shout it with the tranq arrows,

5. Feed it boi toxin and stay close by,

6. Wait until it's hungry bar is empty,

7. Then feed it raw meat or raw prime meat or raw mutton or ect,

8. There you go now you have a carno and have fun with it and i hope i help you and please can you press the one that goes up and have fun.
