Best trapping method: get 9 stone foundations, 18 stone walls, 6 stone door frames and 6 wood ramps. Build a box with the ramps on one side and the door frames on the other. Get on a terror bird or raptor or anything that can fly or fit through door frames and Afro the Carno. Run into the box with it following you, and boom. It’s trapped. Kill it, tame it, sacrifice dodos you it, it’s yours now.

The way i got mine (suggested for meh): make a stone foundation put 4 walls and a roof pt down a chair hop on the taller part of chair then jump on roof, have at least 15 trank arrows start shooting it till it goes down i lived near a river at the time so i didnt shoot it while it was in water so stressful i named her corona. Dodo dex need to include alpha's too. I am a new player, didn't know alpha's can't be tammed.saw one alpha Carno, flame radiating from its back. Looked super cool,when I fired a tranq arrow from far away and realised it had 11k+ health,I ran away like I saw a scary ghost. But I thought what if I tame him then I can roam the island with him without any care. 20+ tranq arrows, 25+ narcotics, took my trusted trix named Horndo(yeah I am bad at naming)and got on top of the cliff near the alpha. Started firing tranq, after 10 tranq I had to reposition my self and fell from the top of cliff into the river where alpha was.alpha came to get me but my boi trix got in-between me and my death. He fought valiantly till his last breath and I was firing tranq at the alpha without knowing he was immune.At the end Horndo died and a few sec later me too.

I had to take revenge,so I got lots of arrows and climbed the same cliff,I also brought all my other tames as they wanted revenge too.We friked him.

It's so weak.if you want to tame one find a high level

Everyone should tame thing with cooked fish. Cooked fish man.

Carnos are a easy tame just hit it with rocks you do not need to run away show it who is boss

Says 6 and a 1/2 for raw meat level 150. Only took us about 2 1/2 with 8 prime meat and around 40 raw meat

To tame this dino you can het on top of a rock and keep shooting with tranqs or level your speed and run and shoot the carno. Amazing cave dinos fit in cave of clever and with a level 30 it amazingly easy very good starter.

I have never tamed one I tried (didn’t happen)

Tame a baryonyx or allo instead

They can definitely destroy stone walls. Dododex needs to update that.

For Carnos, its much easier to have at least 1-3 Large bear traps ready. Also I prefer a crossbow for quicker torpor induction. Ensure you are an adequate level to take any damage if it happens. Be aware of your surroundings. Carnos are typically in pretty hostile locations mostly around other carnivorous dinos. If you're lucky some randomly appear in yhe south zones.

Easy tame with crossbows and 1-3 people just take a hit

Use moose, become canadian, have great value rex.

1.find a carno

2.nock out with trank

3.give raw meat and narcotics.

4.injoy carno

Jump on big rock shoot til sleep give prime

Step one tame a therazinosaur step two let the carno hit it and shoot it

Make 2-3 large bear traps, have it aggro and lead it into the traps. This is the cheapest and easiest way to tame it

Load your hotbar with weapons and shoot it
