Make trap under a cliff lead it to cliff to fall in trap knockout and now you have a carno

Easy just get on a cliff with a crossbow and 10 tranq darts (incase u miss) and shoot it until it falls and then feed it regular kibble and u have a mini version of a rex

You need a chain bola to tame tame!

Just go on a high enough rock and grab your ranged weapon, grab some knockout ammo like for example: Tranq arrow. I easily knocked one out with a crossbow and Tranq arrows and tamed it even though there were two raptors and a Therezinosaurus but I just killed ‘em

A carno can be tamed by a dino that you can ride and shoot it with arrows and any kind of meat.

If the carno runs into a forest while your trying to KO it, don’t chase it. It will blend into the trees and kill you

To kill alpha carnos with mounts, have a really strong mount as they have high health to start with (I recommend at least one of the mounts on this list: a decent spino, rex, pteranodon or argentavis...

Just go on top of a mountain and shoot it

Just shoot it with around 10-15 Traqs. I advise you use two people

Carno trap: this is better with 2 people but 1 is possible but difficult.

Get 8 stone pillars, place down 3 in a straight line, 1 across at the top, and 3 down the line again. It should look like | = side pillars, _=top pillar. Once you have that set up (it should be only 7 down) grab your carno to agro on you, run into the trap, and once they are in there, have your friend place that last pillar so he’s trapped, and now just tranq it :)

If you’re solo, do all this except when he gets in the trap, you might have to take a hit or two when you wanna place the last pillar. Good luck!

Must tame for starters!does huge dmg and has great dps and is easy to tame,just find a spot,and shoot tranqs!

In my new world I was exploring around with a parasaur and dilophosaur (I made the world today okay don't judge) and a carno made my business it's business. After I respawned I went to see where it was and it was right off a cliff from where my house was. I'm thinking in a few levels when I unlock tranq arrows I knock it out and then tame it with my vast supply of meat. But in my other world I've only ever tamed carnos with traps (except for the one time I tamed one on a river lategame). And even though carnos missed arm day they definitely didn't miss leg day and I know they run faster than I can catch up to when they're about to pass out. What do you guys think, should I go for it?

As a noob I managed over the course of 12 lives to punch a fair level one to sleep and tame it. Run into their legs and punch.

If you would like to tame a carno ride an iguanodon! An iguanodon is faster than a carno so it will be easier for you to tame it! Bring 20-40 trank arrows (i highly doubt it’s going to take all of your frank arrows) but always bring extra! As I was saying earlier, while riding your iguanodon, if your able to go on a high up rock where the carno can’t reach you. Then, keep hitting the carno with trank arrows till it goes unconscious. You don’t have to use prime meat or kibble you can use just normal raw meat I’d suggest maybe bringing 30-35 pieces of meat. One more thing! Make sure you bring 4-6 narcotics for the carno. That’s all! Hope this helps! :)

If you have 385.5 health that’s enough to die two times then you can tame it

Get to a ledge and a big bear trap or net projectile it build a stone gate trap (like you would a Argy probably or a square and if you do the square you gonna need 4 gate door thingys) and shoot it with tranqs or darts put mutton or kibble or any type of meat you have and boom you have a carno ( they are good beginner tames or just good in general cuz now they have the bleed attack)
