I brainstormed a way to tame it but i have not tried but u have to go on a rock get a slingshot with 40+ stones shoot at it until it runs and make it fall then feed it meat and u have ur own carno

I was taming the carno and every time i try to tame a Carno a stupid titanosaur kills me and the Carno

I highly suggest riding a pachy while you encounter a carno and use its bash attack it's helps knocking it out in one shot

When gaming they don't have as high of a torpor as say a Rex but they are faster so keep aware. More of a mid level tame

Just get the crossbow with tranq arrows and another dinosaur like a parasaur to distract it and you should be able to knock it out before it kills your parasaur

What you need to do is get a ptranadon and go back and forth with a crossbow and tranqs

I found it to be quite easy about attacking it while sitting on my boat with tranq arrows. Three shots and it was out cold

I recommend getting a male and then female and I’ve been breeding them mostly get females and males at health 1000 before breeding and taking them out to hunt for lvls and to get meat after I get them at 1000 health I start to put lvls into other stats like melee, stamina, weight and speed and before going out for adventures I recommend putting 80 raw meat or more in the baby’s inv and if you cant raise them inside because ur house is to small and ur scared if you leave it out on ur beach or wherever you built somethings gonna come kill it get it outside and get some of ur strongest Dino’s and make a circle around the baby and if that doesn’t work I usally put them/it in my carno breeding pen (if ur wondering how I made it I’ll tell you at the end of this message) then I just let it grow and grow and grow and if ur still scared grab ur strongest Dino’s and put them around the pen, and if ur a new player you can not bola them and you need lots of tranq arrows and meat

How to make carno breeding pen: 2 floors wide, 3 floors long and you have to get walls about 4 walls tall and usally I put 0 roofs and leave a spot open for a Dino gate (not behemoth) and I like to attach the carno breeding pen to my house so I make a little hall way from the carno breeding pen to my house and they weren’t lined up for me so It looks a little wonkey but still works and yes I do put roofs on the hallway and if you can put ramps at the gate of ur door and you can put ur baby carnos in then I do this (carnos cant be bigger then ur hallway) I take them in my house and through the walkway and into the breeding room 👍

When Fighting A Carno, a strategy you can use is:

-Gear up on spears, bows, arrows, and any kind of melee weapon. Then try and squeeze your player in between some rocks where the Carno can’t get you. Then just start to attack the Carno from where you are there. And if the rocks don’t work, try finding the nearest structure with an open door so you can get in and the Carno can’t and then start attacking

If u want to tame one tame it with prime don't use kibble and use argi or trap

I’m in mobile and I’m a begginer in ark I’ve been playing for a while and since I’m on mobile it’s pretty hard to catch tunes Dino’s how do you catch hard to catch Dino’s on mobile?

This dinosaur is able to climb almost every rock. So you can go onto a cliff or (I think the easiest way) just get him between palms with a dead tree in front of them. Hope I was able to help 🤗

How to tame a carnotosaurus:

1. You will need to make a trap for it. Stone traps can work. You can easily find one on YouTube but here's a trap idea anyway: Build a 5 by 5 foundation and use doorframes as walls. Make it 2 doorframes high. And use ramps so you can walk into the trap and lead the carno in there too. You can make the trap a bit smaller.

2. After the carno is in the trap, shoot it with a tranquilizing ammo like tranq arrows or certain darts.

3. keep shooting it until it's knocked out. After it's knocked out, feed it meat or preferred kibbles.

Easy tame just climbed a rock and then shot 10 tranq arrows at it level 36 name big boi run around kill every dino in area except sarco I almost lost it to a sarco

Remember friends if you see a red Aurora around it your cooked so just run

If you want one I suggest you get a raptor that is fast when you see one shoot it with a tranq arrow put it away run turn out pull it out shoot repeat it only takes like 10 he’s down and go ahead and tame him:)

Just tamed a lvl 10 carno, now the low lvl doesn’t matter just upgrade its hp first thing, but this guy was a 2 shot with a crossbow. I just found a big rock and shot him and he ran from me right away lol, thought he was maybe lvl 5 at max, lvl 10s aren’t the GREATEST but if you want a carno here’s an ez way to get one

Very easy and recommended knock out tames!

1. Find a carnotaurus attacking a parasaurolaphus

2. Shoot ten or more arrows at it as it hunts

3.feed it meat(for low level Carnos, for high levels kibble is recommended).

4. Wait and feed narcotics/bio toxin to keep him/her down

5. You have a strong carnivore! Get a tannery and make a saddle

So when you are wanting to hatch a car no egg what exactly do you do

If you start on the Highlands this is a great Dino to tame. They can be knocked out by high level horses and will be your first big carnivore. Happy taming!
