How to tame carno

1 prepare

Bow

Tranq arrows (i would recommend bringing at least 20)

a trap (trap not needed if speed 200+)

2 locate

Carnos are easy to find i would recommend looking on beaches cuz on beaches there aren't many other threats

3 Tame

Shoot tranqs and lead into trap (or just run away from it) and keep shooting until unconscious

4 enjoy your carno

I don’t know if this is just me but I feel like the carno is a fairly easy tame to get once you have a bow and a mount you can shoot off the back of

Once it was my first time playing and I saw a carno I ran up to it and punched him, he attacked back I kept punching, i died, i went back I punched more, i died, this happened around 90 more times, then it ran i punched one more time and it passed out in the ocean then I raged cuz it died.

How to tame carno:

You will need: icthy with saddle, A nearby leed, a pteranodon with saddle, a carno that you want to tame and (preferably nearby, so your prime meat doesn't rot) 20-25 tranq arrows and a bow. Step 1: After locating a nearby carno hop on your icthy. Step 2: keep scraping meat off your leed, until you get prime fish meat. Step 3: Get your tranq arrows and bow, and fly until you find your carno, and then land on a high rock. Step 4: Get the carno's attention, and get it stuck between two trees. Step 5: hit it with tranq arrows until it's unconsious. Step 6: Give the carno the prime fish meat, and wait. Step 7: Think of a name for your carno while its taming. Suggestions: Toro, Hot Dog, Lil arms and name it according to its colour. ( Moss, Sea foam, Blaze etc.) Step 8: Once its tamed, make sure no dangerous creatures are nearby.(rex, spino, allo pack, etc) Step 9: Hop on your pteranodon, and if the rock is too high request it. Fly back to your base. Step 10: request your carno and name it. Step 11: Congrats! You tamed a carno!

Find a cliff then lead it to the bottom of the cliff make it lose interest in you climb the cliff and use arrows or darts to put it to sleep making sure you are on top of the cliff

Find a rock near it go on you can knock it out mostly with everything but that’s not a baseball bat it if is a low lvl it’s ez to tame but if it’s a high lvl is goin be medium. But I buffer if your a low lvl just let it walk with ya until you can get the saddle don’t need to tame it when you can get the saddle

Have 3ladders, 3 pillars, and 1 trapdoor frame

Not to strong but will help in your ark world and make it go somewhere it can't get distracted or aggroed off of you and if u have one I suggest leveling up its hp,melee or speed

I highly recommend taming a high level one my 258 can killed a 80 alpha Carno

First time I tamed I was taming a pachy and I go to get narcos I come back and this thing is ravaging my pachy so I start hitting it with a club then it falls unconscious so I put meat from pachy and bam I got a Red Bull dino

I had a small outpost for a bass and I got the attention of a Carno and just played ring around the rosei, my advice keep something between u and bata Rex

how to tame a carnotaurus in ark:

step 1: have a structure trap for medium dinos

step 2: have a crosbow and tranquilizer arrows

step 3: find a carnotaurus and trap it in the structure trap and shoot it

and so you get a carnotaurus

Find yourself a rock thats hard to get on and hope that he doesn't knock you off i tamed mine with a crossbow and tranq arrows, really good base defense and overall tame

Fly up to a cliff or ledge that it can’t reach and use tranq darts. Tranq arrows will work too it will just take longer

I just found level 27 alpha Carno it’s a good level I’m on easy easy and then searched up why my tranqs don’t work then realised you can’t tame alphas 😭😭😭😭 wasted a ton of tranqs

Very easy tame

1: do lava cave with tiny save

2: tribute and get good crossbow dam=400

3: search good one make trap and trap carno

4: fire tranquilizer arrow and kock carno

5:feed him sooting balm and put meat or prime meat

6:carno tame and give him saddle and ride

Large bear trap it knock it tame it and then boom just note there run is annoying

Get to a high spot and shoot at the carno and when it run go after it

Just get the high ground a rock should work
