Have it attack your dinos whilst they’re behind a suitable wall or gate. You then tranquilise it from a vantage point, a ramp would be suitable.

Build a two by three long stone platform and make a stone Dino gateway and gate and put it on the two platform. Stack stone doorways until it reaches the height of the gate. Put ceilings over the top. Open the door and aggro a carno into it by running and then through the doorways. Run around and close the door, then tranq it till knocked out. Happy Taming!

Barayonx is better would only tame 4 kibble

Build pin with stone dino gates stone foundations and stone doorframes have a quetz and just pick him/her up drop in pin and tranq

6 stone foundations with a Dino gate and stone door frames all around.. Trap them and make sure you have enough tranq arrows at least 80 that was my experience..

Best to use crossbow with tranq as its downs in 1-5 hits

If possible use another Dino with high health to act as an distraction

So I had to restart my whole ark character because my brother deleted all my Ark data, and I went to tame a carno(mind you I've tamed a carno before), and no matter what kind of meat I put in the inventory it just wouldn't tame at All! Anyone know why?

I own a carno named Cripple, why? Have you seen their damn arms?? They need help picking all that leftover meat out of their teeth

Set a taming pen with a large bear trap, a guard post on several pillars and a trapdoor to shoot through, kite it in from a bird, hop off and close the door from the outside before the bear trap lets go. Climb your post and tranq from safety. Can be hard to hit when trying to run, so build a small pen, or be a good shot.

Get on a rock with a flyer and knock out the carno, or alternatively stack ~6 stone pillars on top of each other climb up the pillars with ladders.

Despite their size, they have relatively low torpor. 4-5 tranq arrows from a crossbow is enough to knock out a low level.

Me and my buddy tamed two by me riding a tapeJara or bird while the other knocked it out.when he ran out of arrowstate we switched

Best bet is to make a taming pin and tranquiliz it, after that starve and use ankylo kibble or raw meat.

Super cute looking suggest taming a lower lvl one as they take a long time

Get the carno stuck on a spike or something similar to make it easy for you, a lvl 20 carno can be knocked out with a few shots to the head.

Very easily found in redwoods on the center map highest levels can be found there too

When taming your first carno i'd recommend getting up on top of a rock and just tranq arrow them in the head. Pretty easy to KO then like that.

Try to look in the cave near south 1 it will be hard for him to chase you and there are many corners you can crouch in to shoot it

Just shoot it with around 10-15 Traqs. I advise you use two people
