Get a Dino with plenty of health possibly one that can kill easy and clear the area of all hostile Dino’s and then get the carnos attention then just shoot it with tranqs till it gets knocked out just make sure to stay on your mount so when the carno attacks it’ll damage your tame instead and when it starts running if your tame is fast run after it if not hop off whistle follow and run after it on foot and keep shooting at it then just slap some raw meat and narcos on it till it tames. I used this strat with my lvl 127 sarco and it worked great on carno island on the island map I could lure hostile Dino’s into the water and kill then leaving my carno there safe and able to be tamed easily.

Today i have some few reccomendation to tell

First of lets prepared,the food ur gonna need to most effevtice to least effective: ankylo-kibble/mobile

Raw mutton

Raw prime meat

Raw prime fish meat

Cooked prime meat

Cooked prime fish meat

I only reccomend using the kibble or the raw prime meat it wouldnt have to cooked prime meat just incase. Carno can be found on redwoods open places and beaches they are fast and tanks

To tame the carno ur gonna need a high place so the carno cant get u. U can also built 7 pillars tall then get on top of it and shot it with tranq darts/trang ammo until its knocked. U can also built 2 by 2 wooden box along with 4 wooden door frame with 2 rails, lure the carno to the box and knock it out as pleasure, once its knocked out put ur food of choice on its inventory and maintain its unconcoiusness using bio toxin or narcotis so it dosent wake up until its tamed

Now for bonus info...carno saddle can be learn at level 46 and they are fantastic raw prime meat harvester carno has a high damage and good health the bleeding effect sadly dosent work on mobiles. I guess thats all i can tell and have ur self a very good day

I was riding my argentavis When I saw an alpha Cano And I decided to kill it and guess what I killed it all I did is fly above it with my argentavis And hit it

Get a tapajara then land on the side of a high cliff and then spam tranqs like there’s no tomorrow

Use a shield like I did. It was so easy just be sure to run thn turn after your a good distance. Got a lv 95 one like that.

To tame up one of these suckers, cross bows ( level 25 ) and tranq arrows ( level 10 ) are great. Taming pens are helpful, but, if you have decent speed you can outrun them. If you don’t have kibble, raw meat or raw prime meat works fine. Put a saddle on one of these ( level 46 ) and you have a tank.

Find a rock that only you can get up then you fine also my name is toast and I got it by going on a rock and I had tranqs so it was fine also don't try to run from it unless you can

I recommend knocking it out with at least 10 tranquilizer arrows.

Helloooooo! It’s GastricGem1 and today I am talking about the carnotaur! It’s a super good tame and super dangerous. I recommend using a gun.( if you are trying to kill it.) if not well, crossbows and tranqs work pretty good for levels 1-95. I think anyway. As I was saying, they can charge at enemies with their two horns, and do their normal attack also. Chomping and biting… thanks for listening!

Get on a large rock and start shooting tranq arrows, at least have 50 arrows. When it starts to run from low torpor jump down and chase it, make sure there aren’t any bugs or raptors that want to eat it

There’s 3 easy ways I found to tame one

1. This requires a tribe mate and a flyer. Have your person on the flyer pick up the other, find your carno you wanna tame and just slowly fly forward so it doesn’t lose agro. Put spike walls around it for protection

2. Trap it. 3x3 Wood or stone should work. 2 high door frames on each side, build ramps on one side to allow the carno to get into the trap. Once it has agro, run into it and slip through the door frames when it is in the trap. You shouldn’t need spikes but you can if you want

3. Run and gun, it’s in the name, just run and tranq it out, your you could agro it onto a diplo and get an easy knock out, as they only do knock back.

To escape on foot you need the speed of around 110%.

It is basically a raptor but with every stat higher but speed.

People who say this is useless on mobile, STOP!

My carno Isabel ran me through hunter cave without any problem, and defended me against a spino. Also, she has great stam like over 1500.

She does 124 damage now, and is my fourth tame, behind my pt black pearl, which I sadly lost to a giga just yesterday.

Conclusion: find high level, tame high level.

How to tame carno!

The carno is a horned theropod, similar to Rex. It spawns literately everywhere luckily not very common.

Materials:

Bow/crossbow

50 tranqs would be good? Better off with 100 to be safe safe.

A cliff.

A carno, best 90+ level.

Method:

1. lure the carno below the cliff.

2. Tranq it out.

3. Feed prime meat.

4. Watch torpor

Utilities:

Meat/hide harvester

Great cave animal! Do research on the caves

Giga killer because of bleed (pc)

Cool mount.

One tip: in ark mobile, when you sleep it makes all dinos in render, completely starved. I don’t know if it works on mobile.

Enjoy ur carno

If you aggro a carno, just run like the devil towards another Dino. They often will lose interest in you and attack the Dino instead.

These guys make creatures bleed like the Deinonychus I had about five that were high level and we managed to kill a Giganotosaurus! It was about level six. Two of them died, their names were Strike and Smash. Please up this tip to encourage me to look for more Stolen Headstones so I can give them a personal gravestone. Sniff Sniff

Use a medium bear trap and crossbow to tame.
