I used 4 tranq arrows and 18 prime meat

I already experienced some trouble encountering/taming one of these animals, but here are some tips:

1.) As soon as you see a Carno, don’t try to outrun one of these. First try to locate the nearest rock you can climb onto. Then attract the Carno and get on the rock, Tranq it, and you should be fine and safe!

2.) If you fly a bird, attracting one of these might be a bit difficult. Try to hit the Carno with your bird, and fly really slow. (But make sure your bird doesn’t get damaged a lot!) Carnos lose their attraction very easily so it can be a but difficult getting the animal where you want it to be!

Easy to tame if you have tamed dilos, put your tamed dilos on passive and le5 the Caron attack them, and shoot at it with any torpor damaging thing you have, easy tame.

I don’t wrry about carnos cuz I can outrun them

If you find a carb at 420 health I recommend you get 10 to 20 arrows just in case you miss some shots

Carnos are a easy tame just hit it with rocks you do not need to run away show it who is boss

Says 6 and a 1/2 for raw meat level 150. Only took us about 2 1/2 with 8 prime meat and around 40 raw meat

I find that they stuck easily in the wild so I just wait until it is chasing a dodo or a Jerboa then pick 'em up to get them stuck.

Get a vantage point and just fire away with your crossbow or bow

To tame this dino you can het on top of a rock and keep shooting with tranqs or level your speed and run and shoot the carno. Amazing cave dinos fit in cave of clever and with a level 30 it amazingly easy very good starter.

Carnos can ram you and give you a debuff that makes you bleed and it hurts and hurts and hurts this debuff killed my lvl 70 argy in less then ten seconds

Fast enough to eat small tasty beach bobs when mounted u can feel their fear when the run like hell

I have never tamed one I tried (didn’t happen)

When encountering this beast do not use poop to kill it

Carnos match with a Rex pretty easily but carnos are faster and will be lots of trouble for beginners recommend a strong mount or one that can outrun it
