I can easily kill these guys because I have a pike but if you don't have good stuff to kill or you are lower than lv 20 watch out...

To kill it u need a carbonemys and a bow, use the carbonemys as a bait and when the carno is attacking the carbonemys shoot It with a bow and u killed the carno

I’m on mobile and this guy’s hunger bar takes way longer to deplete than my patience bar, how do I tame it?

Just killed a carnotauras with a wooden spike wall

When I started a carno was stuck on a rock near my house

CAREFULL WITH THAT PRIME MEAT even though the spoil bar doesn't go down in a carno inventory they do spoil in his inventory just as fast as your inventory I learned this after me and my pod of ichthyosaur killed a basilo and got its meat put it in Carno and boom its gone and I knew he didn't eat it cause there where like 20 spoiled meat and his regular meat stack I had for him was still the exact same from when I had put the prime meat in

I hate these guys man like they killed 4 of my snow owls and in the beginning of the game they killed this 150 dodo that I found!!!!

Make sure the carno is aggro on another Dino like a moschops then shoot 2-3 tranq arrows at it with a decent bow (I used ascendant but other bows will work aswell) then feed raw meat and boom tamed carno

These guys aren’t scary give em a nice slap across the face and they will be on their way!

Carnos are great early-mid game tames! They can even be used in endgame.

Carnos are great meat gatherers. Like an early game giga.

They are pretty solid mounts too! They protect, they defend, but most importantly.. they attack. They looks super cool.

Now let’s get to taming!

In order to tame this dino. Your going to need lots of meat, they prefer prime meat though. Also make sure to get around 10-20 tranqs depending on the level. I small level carno gets knocked out fast. So you may need even less! At least bring one narcotic. In my experience I didn’t need one. But I tamed a low level.

Now you need to find one. I’ve seen one spawn at south province one, but it was lucky. I tamed mine in between the red woods and the swamp. I fought two but I only got to tame 1.

Once you find a carno you going to either want to do one of the following:

You can use large bear traps I think. But bringing a couple doesn’t hurt.

If you want to be cheap or then just get on a big rock or a ledge and fire away! When it runs chase that thing down like usain bolt.

Oh, so you want to be fancy? You can create some elaborate trap by using door ways and ramps and platforms.. but I’m not that type of dude.

Now just tranq that boy down and you got yourself a carno!

My name is Etheral and my last “how to tame” was the dilo!

The way i got mine (suggested for meh): make a stone foundation put 4 walls and a roof pt down a chair hop on the taller part of chair then jump on roof, have at least 15 trank arrows start shooting it till it goes down i lived near a river at the time so i didnt shoot it while it was in water so stressful i named her corona. Like so ppl see have a nice day.👌

Dodo dex need to include alpha's too. I am a new player, didn't know alpha's can't be tammed.saw one alpha Carno, flame radiating from its back. Looked super cool,when I fired a tranq arrow from far away and realised it had 11k+ health,I ran away like I saw a scary ghost. But I thought what if I tame him then I can roam the island with him without any care. 20+ tranq arrows, 25+ narcotics, took my trusted trix named Horndo(yeah I am bad at naming)and got on top of the cliff near the alpha. Started firing tranq, after 10 tranq I had to reposition my self and fell from the top of cliff into the river where alpha was.alpha came to get me but my boi trix got in-between me and my death. He fought valiantly till his last breath and I was firing tranq at the alpha without knowing he was immune.At the end Horndo died and a few sec later me too.

I had to take revenge,so I got lots of arrows and climbed the same cliff,I also brought all my other tames as they wanted revenge too.We friked him.

It's so weak.if you want to tame one find a high level

I used 4 tranq arrows and 18 prime meat

I already experienced some trouble encountering/taming one of these animals, but here are some tips:

1.) As soon as you see a Carno, don’t try to outrun one of these. First try to locate the nearest rock you can climb onto. Then attract the Carno and get on the rock, Tranq it, and you should be fine and safe!

2.) If you fly a bird, attracting one of these might be a bit difficult. Try to hit the Carno with your bird, and fly really slow. (But make sure your bird doesn’t get damaged a lot!) Carnos lose their attraction very easily so it can be a but difficult getting the animal where you want it to be!

Easy to tame if you have tamed dilos, put your tamed dilos on passive and le5 the Caron attack them, and shoot at it with any torpor damaging thing you have, easy tame.

I don’t wrry about carnos cuz I can outrun them

If you find a carb at 420 health I recommend you get 10 to 20 arrows just in case you miss some shots
