Me and my friend were tryin to tame a sarco we nokd it down quite quick but wile we were killing a diplo that was pushing r pteranodons a carno attacked and Terri ( r lvl 80 pteranodon ) barely lived. R other pteranodon Trevor was fine tho. We left th game and havnt played since. Vote if u hope we kill the carno and tame th sarco. Also the sarco was 72% taming so we were close.

One of the best starter tames for a new survivor on Abberation. You can outrun lots of dangerous carnivores if you upgrade a little movement speed, and they are perfect for working your way up to taming a Spinosaurus. If you’re ever struggling to choose to tame either a Sarco or this, choose this.

One time i was out hunting with a pack of dilos and I saw a carno and the cargo being my favorite dinosaur i grabbed my tranq arrows and got at a distance and shot like 6 or 7 tran arrows than he ran so I shot jim with the sling for a finishing hit. I tried to feed it But it wasn't hungry then after a few ingame hours it woke up charged at me, so me not thinking straight i drove a tranq arrow thru its skull.. Killing it😒😒

Get the dream team™, get a trike and use it's charge attack so the carno is dazed, get a parasaur and pump it full of health so it can tank the hits, and an optional two dilos to provide supporting fire (doesn't matter if they die, easy tame) while you provide backup arrows.

Don't try outrunning it with a raptor if it's a high level,it will easily outspeed you.Try to kill all creatures around because it loses interest easily...

A great well rounded Dino! Good stats, bleed for boss battles, good speed, but heavy footsteps...their footsteps should sound like a Spino. However, if their footsteps are changed, no one will recognize them. Other than that tho, a great tame for any tribe!

How to knock out without trap:1.Get a Crossbow and about 15 tranq arrows 2.Get a bait dinosaur(Optimally something tanky so it doesn’t die)3.get the bait dino close to the carno 4.Shoot the carno with the tranq arrows until its knocked out

With a primitive crossbow it takes around 2 shots to get it to start running and then the 3 shot knocks it unconscious. Good luck out there!

Sadly theris, spinos, allos, rexes, gigas, and the majority of carnivores are better than the carno, it really needs a tlc and it is starting to become useless

I was able to tame one by landing on a big rock and then I just kept shooting it with tranq arrows

Step1.be far from the carno or on a cliff (HE IS SO FAST)

Step2.get bow(LVL10)with at least 18 tranq arrows(BUT THEY HAVE TO BE HEDSHOTS) or get more tranq arrow

Step3.shoot at him from a unclimbed place or get the trap

Step4.cry with happiness cuase you finally tamed him

Ummm I don’t know if this is normal but I was flying around on my pt when I saw a CARNO and a SARCO teaming up and going on a killing spree. I watched from a tall rock for a while and they never attacked each other 🙁🤷🏼‍♀️ huh

When I was taming my Carno I had to battle a sarco and I nearly died but I killed it and now I’m happy

How To Tame A Carnotaurus

1. Gather all the things you'll need. I like to bring with me 20 tranq darts, a simple long neck rifle will do just fine and bring about 30 narcotics, better safe than sorry.

2. If you have a flyer, fly over to carno Island which is located in the upper right of the map, once you get there you'll find lots of carnos, then it's just a matter of what level of Dino you want. I typically only tame max levels and I do that by flying around on my taperjara (but an argy would work also) and killing all the low levels until I find a max.

3. When you find your carno you want to tame you can either build a trap or try to knock it out without a trap. Typically I've done just fine without traps. I play on easy mode in Ark mobile so the max level is 30. Start shooting the carno with tranq darts, it will attack you at first so it's best to be on top of a rock that they can't climb. The tricky part is when they start torpor running, since there's water all around they could drown if they get knocked out in the ocean. When it is knocked out let it's food drain down by quite a bit and feed it the narcotics to keep it asleep. On mobile their favorite kible is the ankylo kible.

How to tame a carno

Things you will need

10-20 tranc arrow

Decent crossbow

21 stone doorframes

4 stone ramps/stairs

1 saddle for after taming it

A bit of meat

3 foundation (stone)

1. Build trap 3x3 foundation (stone) then build walls 2 doorframe high leave one side 1 high

2. Place ramps on low side

3 carno in trap

4 equip crossbow make sure to put trance in it because sometimes it doesn’t auto set

5. Shoot tranc until nocked out

6. Feed meat not berries

7. Name it

8.equip saddle

9. Destroy trap

Well done you have a carno have fun with it just be carful they aren’t that much stronger than a pack of raptors

Carnos are really good for their good health and stamin and damage and they also have a bleed attack that makes creatures bleed out to take afterlife damage

These guys can be so annoying to tame and find sometimes. You find one and get two scenarios:

1. Oh shit! Let me tame one! I can just brute force it or make a trap- huh wait, where are you goin- no focus on me! Stop fighting the local compy! Those Trikes are going to kill you, stop!

2. Oh finally found one, I see it's busy eating. Let me park my Argy... now where were we- wasn't it here before??? Hold up getting on my Argy back... There it is, looking for fight. Park my Argy. Let's go tame one! ... where is it????

You know what you can just climb a rock and tranq it then you can feed it prime meat

If you are on foot and you run into this thing, give up. It will chase you. It will catch you, it will eat you. If you have a flyer just book it.

Are you annoyed of dying while trying to kill these things? We’ll not to worry! This is easy ways to tame a caos stubby arm ahh carnivore 😀👍

Way 1. Traps, make it out of stone, get 2 wooden ramps and a few stone doorways (NOT DOUBLE FRAME) make it about 3 foundations wide and 4 foundations long place the wooden ramps on each side and knock it out :)

Way 2. If you don’t wanna do this 👆🏻 Way do this way! If you have a flyer or you can outrun a carno, So if you see there’s lots of trees together in a tight space or a rock or 2 that can get one stuck try and get the carno stuck between though this isn’t the safest way it’s a way yk

Way 3. Park ur flyer on a tall rock, recommending a rock that is big enough when you hop off ur flyer YPU don’t get flung off the rock, make sure there’s no slanted areas on the rock where the carno can run up and if there isn’t try to keep ur distance back on the rock because though ur up high it can still sometimes hit you.
