When fighting any beach predators, run twoards the earest turtle. The turtle will save you.

When I first tamed one I was really really really really stupid and didn't know how to use narcs so I punched it to keep it unconscious. It worked

How to tame a giant turtle:

1.get slingshot and lots of stones

2.find a giant turtle

3.shoot them they are not fast

4.when they run away that means they are close to get knocked out so keep shooting

5.when it gets knocked out feed it the things you can tame it with like berries and crops

6.name your giant turtle (I named mine carnaby)

If you can’t get a fridge you can tame one of these and use it as a fridge.

Before knocking the carbo out, make sure that there are no other carbos around otherwise the others will attack you when they see you knocking a carbo out

If you are having trouble with Dino’s at the start and want to tame a Dino to help protect you but a trike is proving to be to hard just look for one of these turtles and then knock them out and if one is not enough get more. They can be like your living turtle wall to stop raptors and even spinos and rexes from just easily walking in and killing you before you can even run

You can use this guy as a distraction whilst hunting raptors. Once I saw Raptors terrorizing near my base so I took my Carbo with me (Karen) and she attacked the pack of raptors while I caught the alpha raptor with a bola and killed it with my longneck and pistol. Karen was still alive by the time I went to help her out and all of them were focused on killing Karen so I threw a bola at all of them and killed them. Also if you want to invade a base with turrets take this dude and use their eggs to make kibbles to tame Brontosauruses so you can start you first tour de la ark

When you receive a pursuit that needs one of these guys to accomplish, it'll say that they can be found commonly in the swamp and same with the dossier. Wrong, they can commonly be found on beaches or near bodies of water inland, why mislead people into searching for a creature in a place where they do not spawn? Why waste their time, I don't know. They are hard to take out and tame. Your better off imprinting. Worth tame and imprint though cause so much health.

First dino I ever tamed and bred. In my opinion its a slow breeder. But hell of a defender. Its just a good tame all around especially due to the fact its 10x better then a trike (in defense) and the saddle is relatively easy to unlock. Plus its got a cool swimming animation.

Steps to tame: 1. Grab slingshot and shoot it.

2. Go whack it with a knock out weapon a.k.a hands, (hands are not recommended.) primitive wooden club, or anything like that. 3. Once it’s knocked out, give it as many berrys as you can. These guys are great for beginners; they generally have more health than a trike. Pros: Good for defending tames with lower health, good wood/thatch gatherer. Cons: SO FREAKING SLOW!!! Have fun with your Carbonemys!!🐢🐢🐢
