If you have trouble with fall damage whwn you dismount your bronto, i learned a way to avoid dying when you jump off:

Park bronto near base

Tame a tall rideable creature (parac, diplo, mammoth, etc.)

Park tall dino close to brontos tail

If you position the second dino correctly, you can dismount your bronto, walk down its back & tail, and walk onto the second dino. You can then drop down from this dino and take greatly reduced damage, if any. Hope this helps 🙃

I found out while raid oil last night that you can go through the bronto’s dead body and throw a Tex Rex inside and it won’t get shot by turrets…have to have a platform saddle on it though

As a vet ark player I have learned of the most valuable use for the bronto is its raiding capability. The ability to tank multiple turrets and species x wile still doing massive amounts of damage to plants and bases is one of the most valuable things in the game right now. High level bronto can reach 70-80,000 hp and cannot be enraged as a gigga can mix that with a few well placed mountable turrets, a decent saddle and it becomes even more of a raid tool Other then the Titan and turtles this is the most valuable raid Dino. Upgrade health only for raid status Brontos! Happy hunting.

Makes a great mobile base just max out it’s hp and use a ladder for fast mount and dismount

I was bored enough to tame 7 of these things, I don’t have a pin for my Dinos but ever since I got these things, all my dinos’ survival chance increased about 70% (use to be 25%) after therizosaurus attacks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is a straight up god this man is the bomb he can collect Barrys before they even render in and wood not better then a beaver but still awesome and he tank damage so if you want to tame a Rex you can bro the only reason I even kill even kill them is for prime meat so if you need to stack up on arrow or darts for taming bro this guy is a god :)

Brontosauruses can carry a lot of goods and get real heavy stuff but still be moving. This is GastricGem1 and I’m talking about the brontosaurus. It can swing it’s tail and blow stuff to kingdom come!

Ok so whenever your moving to a new home, just use one of these guys they can carry 3 times you can #so helpful

Best to build on or to transport metal!

If your dinos eat way too much and you can’t gather enough. Get one of these guy an you will not be disappointed

You need to rank up health(they get in lots of fights for some reason) and they are great mobile basses so weight is very important

How to get high quality Bronto platform saddles on mobile:

Head into the yeti cave (tame one of the wolves in the cave to do this). In one of the big rooms there are multiple snow covered platforms. On one of the platforms is a red cave drop, and the loot of this drop includes Bronto platform saddles. I ran the cave ~100 times and got 2 Bronto platform saddles (1 mastercraft 1 apprentice). I wished I knew about this before wasting engrams on learning the Bronto platform saddle :(

Ok so this is funny as well as utilities

They are really good mules, a lvl 1 roughly has 1500 weight ok that's really good for supplies running

While on a supplies run in single player(mobile) i ran over a para. HOW DOES A PARA GET UNDER MY FOOT? Also they are very good berries collectors

Yeah so when you do tame these things and equip a saddle to ride em please note that you gotta have a bit lot of health because fall damage is annoying when you get off your 50 feet tall on something bronto

I had one next to my base it would keep moving me about then i tryed to kill it but it destroyed my trough

Put a castle on one and you have a U.M.O.D.S.E (Unstoppable Mobile Defence & Offence Seige Engine)

To get good brontosaurus saddles, go to the red drops on Ragnarok in the desert, you have a chance of getting Journeyman, Mastercraft, etc. platform saddles which you can then put chemistry benches on and you can make mass amounts of narcotics and stimulants (if you even make those).

Cryopod one, and then you have a Bronto-Bomb to throw out when your other tame is weak. A great distraction, after all, how are your enemies going to hit you when they have a Bronto on top of them.

Long boi is hard to tame but the platform saddle is good for long boi
