Tips & Strategies

What are tips for brontosaurus? Tips and strategies for brontosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
One of the easiest dinos to tame. Just be sure you have a decent amount of tranq arrows and mejo berries. It holds its own fairly well in battle thanks to its high HP and strong knock back on its tail. Another plus is that it can turn dillos and troodons into pancakes!
Poop eggs me know about the screens
Make a stone box (foundation, three walls, a roof, and a doorframe but NO DOOR) and aggro it. Run inside the box and shoot it with tranq until it starts running. Then chase it down, feed it berries, and its ur invincible bestie!
DON'T TOUCH IT, Just bypass it!!! I'm not afraid of tyronosaurus and all existing ones, but my 50 level 30 raptor was killed yesterday…R.I.P. BABY!
If you want to take one and you have a thylocoleo just tranq it and then with your thylocoleo climb a mountain that is high enough so it can’t hit you and then go for it
Tranq arrows from a crossbow over large distance did the trick for me, keep a trike on standby with berries for the tame of to fight in case the tranqs didn’t work
Just sit on a metal tower made pillars and just smack trank darts on the head.
Keep from a distance and just shoot it with the tranqs also I would prefer vegetables and berries
If you have trouble with fall damage whwn you dismount your bronto, i learned a way to avoid dying when you jump off:
Park bronto near base
Tame a tall rideable creature (parac, diplo, mammoth, etc.)
Park tall dino close to brontos tail
If you position the second dino correctly, you can dismount your bronto, walk down its back & tail, and walk onto the second dino. You can then drop down from this dino and take greatly reduced damage, if any. Hope this helps 🙃
I tamed this dummy with tranqs by running and it following me. It hit me and my tames were on nuetral. R.I.P. my 173 raptor jimmy, the cave master
I find the most at:83 lattitude and 50-60 longtitude
As a vet ark player I have learned of the most valuable use for the bronto is its raiding capability. The ability to tank multiple turrets and species x wile still doing massive amounts of damage to plants and bases is one of the most valuable things in the game right now. High level bronto can reach 70-80,000 hp and cannot be enraged as a gigga can mix that with a few well placed mountable turrets, a decent saddle and it becomes even more of a raid tool Other then the Titan and turtles this is the most valuable raid Dino. Upgrade health only for raid status Brontos! Happy hunting.
They actually can’t even hurt stone buildings so if you weird like me I just built what I now call “bronto tower” then shoot down at it, make sure it does not bait you off and it is tall enough.
20 tranq arrows and time and effort need over 500 berries
Made a base on herbivore island and it was SO annoying that they kept stomping or just walking all over my things. Eventually tried killing one and it failed. Lost half my tames. War was on. I learned that while they can swim, they cannot fight off sharks or water species as long as your in sight line still. Killed three of them by leading them into the ocean and hovering above with a pteradon whilst the sharks did the work for me. Still got prime meat, and the shark only managed to destroy one of the body’s. Easiest way to rid yourself of these humongous pests. Shoot from a good length away with cross bow, and if needed swoop in and nip them on the head with a flier to keep their attention on you. Happy flying, don’t die :)
If you want to tame one of these beasts tame it from up high and use tranqs in a crossbow to get an easy knockout.
I figured out how to use tranq darts. My first tame with them! Steps below:
1.shoot the head
2.have at least 120 bio toxins.
I fed mine mejoberrys.
3.if you need help getting down after getting on this thing just do what Fred flint stone does
