I live on herb on my main save I was playing on it and had just came back from testing out my new scope on my longneck I have these pens for carnivores on herbivores I see there is a wild LEVEL 28 (it’s an easy world since I was new when I created it so the max level is 30) bronto just chilling in my carnivore pen so I fly up onto one of my gates and snipe it in the face in an attempt to get it out of the pen BUT it starts attacking the walls around the pen hurting the Dinos in it . I fly over and whistle follow in an attempt to save them ( the dinos in the pen) as the pen was not fully finished I got the out and the bronto starts going for my herb pen I panicked and whistled neutral. I start seeing death messages pop up on the screen first some of the dodos then park my para and the my beloved raptor rap god . I close the game my heart beating so fast I go onto google and type up if leaving game resets aggro nothing came so I went back on all i lost was the dinos and a part of my❤️

It is not actually hard to tame you just need to be patient and not die or get yeeted into the ocean

This is all you will need to tame a brontosaurus! 20 tanq arrows at most, 100 berries at least and 1 or 2 narcotics. You can kill raptors for tranq arrows.

Want to tame a bronto?

there is two effective ways

Taming tactic 1

1. get urself atleast 50-80 tranqualizer arrow (you decide how many but atleast 50)

2. find a tall mauntain that bronto tail cant reach(or head)

3. prepare youreself incase you fall of that tall mauntain

4.bow and shoot the bronto for the tall mountain(make sure its not on the mountain or can climb the mountain)

5.shoot it untill get sleep(make sure dont miss most of the shot because when its high torpor it will run away)

6. when its unconsious, put cabonemys kibble(50) or just many berries(so many berries)

7. Now u tamed it, U GET A BIG PROTECTION MAKING YOU KILL CARNO IN LV.20

8. Grind with it, it can carry atleast 1000kg,also big protection if spinos are around

now Taming tactic 2

1.get yourself a flying dinosaur(make sure its fast)

2. find bronto by flying (u can see its tall head)

3.when you find a bronto(make sure its only one not a pack of 2-3brontos)

4. shoot it with dart or tranqualizer while running(or flying with flying dino)

5. repeat step 4 until bronto fell asleep

6. pit many berries or carbonemys kibble (if on mobile)

7. now u have a funny looking long neck dinosaur

8. name it, i named mine giga chad because it can carry 1500kg, decent damage, and also decent speed

9. grind with it(make sure you fight with it when its a 3v1)

If you want to tame one of these things I suggest if you have a friend and a diplodocus have you friend control the diplodocus and stand on its back so you have a 360 degree view. Have your friend keep the dip a safe distance and then you start shootings it with tranq arrows. It will take about 30 arrows but once the bronto starts running away you know it’s almost out then just use your dip to gather tons of berries and put it in the brontos inventory then wait.

I tamed a wild lvl 260 male and lvl 230 female. Best way for taming high level brontos:

Get 4-5 stone dinosaur gateways (no gates needed) sneak up to the passive bronto you want and quickly place the gates around it while you circle it. Better start from the front and as he turns around place the next.

If there are other low level brontos around, kill them first or make them chase you away from the trapped target. They tend to protect each other if one is hit.

After you trapped it, about 70-80 tranq darts from a good longneck rifle, and 4-6 exceptional kibbles will tame it fast, unless you want to use berries and spend 20-30 min protecting your tame even during nightime with torches.

Please read this! These guys are big but not as scary as ya think! I find them everywhere in draycos cove. I tried to tame one with a bow and I almost knocked it out but it ran into the water. I tried again with a crossbow and it took 25 tranq arrows. No need for soothing balm or narcotics, no narcoberries! Now he’s sitting with my other pets towering over them! I hope this was useful

He isn't to hard to tame, I got a level 15 one with a good bow ( journeyman) and 30 tranqs. He's the boss tho.

Don’t attack them if they are mating it’s pretty hard to tranq one, much less two

These things are annoying knock out and tame! They spawn by beaches and have a buddy next to them!When you make there torpor very high it will flee in to the water and get eaten! My advice is to hit them with an arrow and let them hit you 1s and head away from water and go up a cliff, then shoot at it with tranqs like its youre worst enemy(teletubie)

When I try to tame these guys I get a pt or a tapejara and have it hold one of my friends while I fly above the bronto and we don’t normally get hit and we can just keep shooting until it’s out. Hope this helps :)

On mobile all u have to do is walk back wards and you will be good

At least for killing, I used to take a level 70 pteranodon or a 30 level pelegornis and just keep hitting it until it dies and it worked surprisingly well, they’re great sources of raw prime meat. Just make sure you have enough stamina, especially if you’re on a pelegornis. If all hope is lost, set your animals to neutral or maybe passive, then hide in your base, provided it’s stone. As for taming, use at least a bow.

these guys are easy to tame on herbivore island (south haven) as these guys are super easy to knockout with tranq arrows and a crossbow on the cliff area and im only level 27 and i got one. i advise you to get at least a parasaur cos these fatsos need berries.

Honestly turn up player dmg get usually 3 Tranqs and a bow then you got bronto

It's pretty slow so just shoot at it with a crossbow while you walk backwards. Just be careful about it's tail swipe attack wich can throw you of a Cliff.

The brontosaurus is actually a very easy tame and donts require alot of tranq arrows or darts. Since the brontosaurus has to stop to attack you can kite them very easily when tranqing one.they has don't need very many narcos either but are a longer tame. The brontosaurus is the best Dino to get Berry's due to their huge tail radius swing and carry weight on the 1000s. Plus battle brontosaurus are extremely effective and when mate boosted can drain turrets or destroy plant X. Brontosaurus are must have on your way to being alphas.

One of the easiest dinos to tame. Just be sure you have a decent amount of tranq arrows and mejo berries. It holds its own fairly well in battle thanks to its high HP and strong knock back on its tail. Another plus is that it can turn dillos and troodons into pancakes!
