I was trying to tame megalainia but my baryonyx would have gotten clapped trying to so I went to herb island to exp farm and try to find unicorn but got sidetracked by a lvl 23 bronto. Shot him 6 times with pump shottie and bary did the rest!

Why does everyone say it takes 30 minutes to an hour to tame the thing? That is sooo untrue! Maybe playing on an Xbox is different, but mine only took 10 minutes. And I didn’t change any of the settings to make it do that. I swear, I don’t even know how to (I was a noob 2 weeks ago when I started, didn’t even know how to pick up a rock 🫥).

Ok, STILL LEVEL 63. So many good things have happened today, I tamed a Sarco, got to play with my friend, aaaaaand….. I TAMED A BRONTO!!! Super exited. IT TAMED IN 10 MINUTES!!! The big man gained like 2% every second. Stopped around 84% for like 10 seconds maybe 30, but then kept taming. Easily the fastest tame in the game, right? 214 Mejoberries for a level 28. It took 40 tranqs. I was standing on a really tall cliff and I had a perfect view. He sleeps for 2 hours if you let him, so perfect amount of time to run back to base and grab some berries if you don’t have any or don’t want to spend an hour harvesting without a Dino (like me). I haven’t tested him out yet (I literally just tamed him like 10 minutes ago, and I had to shut the Xbox off). But I’ve heard he’s the best berry gatherer in the game! Super exited to craft a saddle and test him out!

It’s a easy tame a few tranks that you unlock at level and the saddle for it at level 63 but has low staimia

These guys are easy to tame just grapple onto its head and tranq it feed it berries(I tamed it with 100 rockarrot)

This works with all platform saddle dinos, but if you want to load dinos (rexes and other big dinos included) you can build a open elevator up to the height of a titanosaur's platform and have a ladder up the back. You could even stack a quetzal on a paracer on a bronto on a titanosaur if the elevator is big enough

A basic Hunting Guide For Early Game(may only apply to mobile).

You will need:

A powerful bow(stated where to get in steps).

Decent durability armor(fresh cloth/ any boosted armor

Arrows(determined by bronto health/bow damage).

Some open space

Gathering tools for drops.

1. Complete the hunting quest for the dilophosaur, this will grant you a very powerful bow(masterwork/ ascendent is best).

2. Locate a bronto( usually they are around low predator areas/ coastlines).

3. Determine the hp of the bronto by walking up to it, then craft as many arrows as needed.

4. Get a safe distance away, far enough so you can evade the tail swing and stomp attacks, yet close enough to hit your shots.

5. Start firing away. MAINTAIN YOUR DISTANCE. BRONTOS HIT LIKE TRUCKS.

6. Repeat until the bronto starts to flee. DO NOT SWITCH TO MELEE WHEN CHASING.

7. When it says it is dead, go claim your kill.

If you have a friend and a flyer with decent stamina i recommended your friend carrying you right above it then just shoot at its head till it knocks out, you have to be careful not to hit your flyer though

If you want to tame brontosaurus then don't see the level They will kill therizino, spino, rex and many just get lystrosaurus atleast 2 they will make bronto level up fast get a petreadon fly up a cliff if there is no cliff is nearby just hit it and fly in your petreadon fly where cliff is get tranq arrows head shot it it will easily run away keep hitting until it fall feed it narco berries bam you have tamed bronto they get many narco berries making easy to tame any herbivores

Make sure you use an oviraptor to take its egg! Oviraptors automatically pick up eggs it encounters while following you, with out angering the parent. This includes Wyvern eggs, btw.

Use trang or darts on them I think darts are faster but trang is still good knock out

It’s possible to take this if you have ascendant bow. I tame this at level 45 I’m happy but sad no saddle

Once I picked a bronto egg and then it killed me.i respawned and then it again tried kill me.but luckily my 2 carbolyms and trike killed that shit

On Ark Mobile, If you ko a low level, just toss in a soothing balm(if you can afford one) and a carbo kibble for instant tame

South tropical has the most brontos on the center and you can swim them across to jungle south if your careful enough

Kill mom bronto and imprint baby. Easy as pie

If you try to take this BEAST then you should just arrow or shoot it.THEN RUN

I was wondering around the island when I saw this bronto then I took our my compound bow one shot to the head and it fell unconscious then I fed it 64 berries and I tamed it It was level 5 bronto use tranq arrows 🏹 and shoot to the head good 👍luck 😀😀😀😀

The best area to tame these is an area full of small dinos that the bronto will get stuck on
