I use brontos to level up my lvl.34 rex it's very good XP and they are good tames you can build buildings on its back. And very good berry gatherer's

1. Get an equus

2. Get tranq arrows/darts and lots of crops/berries(depends on level but for a level 2 I used 11 tranq darts)

3. Find a low level bronto(be careful if there are other brontos nearby)

4. Aim and shoot at targeted dino, make sure to have mount run away when the bronto gets closer so you keep a safe distance

5. Feed and wait

NEVER ATTACK THESE! THEY WILL TOTALLY WRECK YOUR FACE! The story was, there were two brontos near my base. I had a pack of three triceratops, three dilophosaurus, three pteranodons, a parasaur and a dimorph. I attempt to attack one near my base and then realize I wasn't using tranq arrows. And then my dimorph died, and so did one of my pteranodons. I eventually killed it, but didn't get very much loot. Then I tried to trank another one and this killed my raptor, one of my trikes, and probably a few other dinos. I eventually trancs it but it drowned in the water. Up so noobs can see.

I easily tamed one of these I’m level 37 and I used a bow and like idk how many tranq arrows but I guess at least 50 so what you do is put all your stuff away in a chest or Dino and just bring your bow and tranq arrows and berries and narcotics then just shoot and run away and shoot as much as you can try hit the head cause that does better dmg hope this helps

Found one knocked it out with twenty tranq arrows tamed it

Try to build you base on a stable forested hill. Brontos are always in the forests and wild ones will keep guard of your base. Despite their size, they do not harm structures. I lived on a hill with 4 brontos on it and they kept me safe from carnivores.

I tamed him today, just aim for the head with tranq darts or arrows, make sure no brontos are close, my bronto was lvl 1 when i found him and tamed him, while lvl 1 i killed a good level trike with 2 hits brontos are also very good berry gatherers. Also while talking abt bronto type dinos, i tamed a diplodocus in thoughts of it having an attack, i got dissapointed when i saw that he can only push away, like bro, my bronto and ankylo yeet you out of the atmosphere while dealing TONS OF DMG

To the guy who said to not use stim berries well they decrease its torpor I tamed one with like 20 Tranqs and 50 bio toxin and 1300 berries and a 10x boost took like ten minutes but I knocked it out on a dudes base on pve he was stuck in his house :p

Place a stone foundation down near one you want to tame. Place a doorway(with a door), and three stone walls on the bottom. Then place 4 doorways(without doors) on top of the first layer. This way you can agro the bronto when you are trying to knock it out, have an eye on all directions, and won't get hit by his attacks. Best method I've found so far!

Almost killed one with a wooden spike wall. The perfect trap would be a circle of traps then Aggro or be pasint the it will try to attack the traps and die

One of my favorite favorite tames by far! Tail whip super useful and cargo carrying can carry lots! Love the sounds they make too! Overall beautiful creature just have to make sure you don’t accidentally smack and herbivores when under battle with nasty raptor or carno

If someone said that a bronto pushed them off a cliff, you are the worst observer alive. It was a diplo. They have straight necks that point at you, sharp teeth, and their tail is straight like the neck. Brontos have curving necks (like a slide), bigger feet, and their tail is similar to their heads. And brontos do damage, diplos don’t (unless you are thrown off a cliff).

There. Your official statement of “it was a diplo, not a bronto”.

I didn’t shoot head, because it was too hard, so I used 24 tranq arrows and many, many stabs from my pulmo (scorpion, Scorpius, female).

1. Craft how many tranq arrows you want

2. Prepare food

3. Find bronto female (to lay eggs)

4. Shoot it (now, now. A big rock won’t help you now)

5. If you have a scorpion, stab it

6. Keep stabbing it as it runs away

7. Watch it fall

8. Put food in inventory

9. Wait

10. Give your bronto a name and you have a terrific killer

Go for low level ones if possible you can change an raise the stats you want. An if there lower level they are easyer to tame. Granted they might be easy to kill for rexs when there lower level but they still can take nearly anything else on any map

These guys are easy to tame just grapple onto its head and tranq it feed it berries(I tamed it with 100 rockarrot)
