Taming & KO Tips
How do I tame a bloodstalker? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a bloodstalker.
Took me ~110 blood bags for a 150 on 3x. Bring a lot of parachutes as many blood stalkers will latch on to you on while you look for the right level
For a level 145 on 3x taming, it took roughly 800 blood packs to tame one. This is how PEOPLE CAN KNOW HOW TO TAME THESE FORSAKEN CREATURES!!!!
Tamed a 140 with 3 bloodpacks left in the inventory…
So much stress…
You need Sooooooooo many blood sacks and the bugs always ruin everything, but once you tame one you can travel so fast and they will make your life easier!
You can tamea bloodstalker purely by letting it kill you over and over again, just place a bunch of beds by one and just let it eat you
When maturing a Bloodstalker yes they do eat meat but it has to be RAW MEAT! Do not leave a thorough filled with cooked meat after reaching juvenile.. it will starve. -_-
Here are some choices for completing Bog missions!:)
1. Gauntlet missions
NEVER USE RANGE!! That would totally kill you
Use a pike, spear or flamethrower. Spear so you can throw and do melee, pike bec it's strong, and flamethrower because it quickly burns your enemies to ashes.. All the while fun;D
2. Races
Y'know what. Just don't run into anything and you're good.
3. Fishing
Keep the farthest out in the water as you can, and throw the net at the nearest fish. Bam auto collect time bby
4. Defense
When you're protecting a little froggo or something, make sure to have tames follow you on AGGRESSIVE while on a strong tame. This guarantees a success because it keeps the creatures away
5. Track and kill
Bring strong and fast tames. Sarco, kapro, spino raptor ect. Attack target
6. Pickup and retrieve
Like Track and Kill, bring strong and fast tames. Follow HLN-A's checkpoints while riding with a pack of raptors
7. Dodoball
Dude.. Have fun :)))
If you are playing ark by yourself and you want to tame a Bloodstallker, bring beds trust me. You will die a lot if you’re looking for a high level or lower level and bring bug repellent because, they will attack you. Then after you tame it, you can name it the evil nurse.
Sacrifice dinos to it just like a dino to reduce the taming time. Goes up about 5% per low level dino. Will reduce taming time by 3x
Took exactly 110 bloodpacks for a 145 bloodstalker on small tribes Xbox
Let them grab you , get free and throw him little high lvl dinos before , after 4 dinos let them grab you agaim and enjoy higher effectivity
Do not feed it cooked meat it will die if its a baby
If you want to tame these and have a tribe mate with you and a tek phase pistol you can have 1 person get grabbed by the stalker then the other person shoot you with the phase pistol on heal mode and it will tame as long as you don’t die which you shouldn’t if your tribe mate is shooting you with pistol on heal mode. No blood packs required
For your own sake, tame a desmodus first for quick and easy blood packs and save yourself some trouble.
Get a desmodus farm blood bags and tame a spider
I find alot of stalkers on gen 2 at the bottom left part of the map
So i tamed a lvl 145 using 200-198ish bloodpacks on 3x taming. Just figured you guys should know
Depending on your health (this is for official stat setting, 300 health is average for official) you can get about 100ish blood packs every 10 minutes. This is useful for knowing how long you will have to farm blood packs for when taming
It’s a passive game. Use the blood extraction tool to get blood bags. Lots of them. Make sure to have healing vials. Get webbed and pulled in with the blood bags in the passive taming slot at the end of your bar on the right. Keep putting more in as he/she drinks them. I needed 400 ish for a 95
Tame a 5-6 pheomias, get each one to about 1500-1800 hp, let the blood stalker grab it and kill it, the taming effectiveness will go up by 5% on the first kill, it will jump up by 2% additionally per kill..took me about 4 pheomias to get it to 100% effectiveness
