Tips & Strategies

What are tips for bloodstalker? Tips and strategies for bloodstalker in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Use ghillie and bug repellent if you can, swarm screwed up multiple taming attempts. Bring parachute and/or grapples. It's easiest to get taken if your swinging around with either another bloodstalker or using grapple or chute.
You can still tamed on the ground but I’m not sure if take more blood
145lvl bloodstalker eat for tame 103x bloodpacks in x2 event. Time is near 1min.
Took less than 300 bloodpacks to tame a lvl 145 and a lvl 20 on x1 but it does depend on if they've eaten any other tames or wilds before it attaches to u as it took nearly 300 for lvl 60 right after.
DO NOT FEED COOKED FISH MEAT WHEN RAISING. Like so everyonr can know they will starve to death. They WILL eat raw meat, raw fish meat, cooked meat but of course, NOT cooked fish meat. Go figure....WC hard at work
If anyone is breeding them, or yours is low health blood packs also heal and feed them fairly well, you can probably drain food with stimberries and put blood packs in their inventory to speed up the process. The rates for food consumption, health recovery and your breeding would affect how effective they are.
Me and my friend have tried to tame this a few times and failed. We recommend u take bug repellent with you to stop the swarms agro. We been finding them on the bottom of the rocks floating in the trees Good Luck
1100-1200 blood to tame 150 varies slightly each time, server rates seem uneffected, always tames at max bonus to levels. Don't wear glyder it bugs the web pull and they can't get you up to them. Parachutes in case they drop after tame or you get attacked during tame. Probably one of the best utility tames to get early even at low levels.
Can feed it tames for higher efficiency but costs alot of tames
Bring atleast 1500 blood packs for a lowish level.
Ok so you can tame these Things by sacrificing Dino’s like troodon but instead of it being based on your Dino’s XP I think if you have a high HP Dino you can tame it with those
143 for a level 15 on official
Bring tons of bloodpacks and let it grapple and reel you in to eat the bloodpacks to tame it.
Fill your inventory with a few stacks of bloodbags then let the bloodstalker that you want to tame catch you. Overtime it will consume the bloodbags and once it has taken about a stack of them it will be tamed.
Juveniles and up will not eat blood bags or cooked meat from a trough - make sure you have raw meat
You just let it attack you and it tames
Do not do taming effectiveness tame a low level and if you know where some nearby surviver notes are it is pretty fast high and low level so go to some player notes and upgrade what is needed ;)
Unless you want a high level
But this works for high levels to just low levels better because they need less XP😀
