Bloodstalker seems to have been nerfed on PS4 and now webbing takes up stamina. It also now automatically latches to walls and ceilings

Controls take a bit of getting used to but still very useful once you have, probably only one problem with bloodstalkers is that they barely get any food from anything except bloodpacks and vampiric murders(the only effective attack they have but still a brilliant one) so useful if you can afford to keep them fed

Don’t trust the calculator, always bring at least 1500 blood packs for a level 150. If you are smart you will bring 1600 just in case.

I've only raised them on 2x but it seems they considerably eat bloodbags slower while in Tek feeding trough; I put in about 50 for my TWO stalkers and left for the night (8hours for imprint) and there were still about 35+ the next morning. Maybe they switch back and forth between meat and blood?

Use moschop. It loves it. A useful tip

Got reeled in by 145 it ate 356 blood packs got to 87 percent tamed bring as many extra as you can

Babies like bloodbags more than meat

Grabbing mechanism is a bit janky. I would get grabbed and released after five seconds and was lucky to still have six health after my last fall. Do the right thing and bring parachutes.

They are vampires make shoure you have lots of health or blood packs

Until the dev adds this make sure you take the number that it gives you and add 25 percent to it to find the number as there is no number slider to change taming effectiveness that I can find

Let it draw you in.(If you escape without doing anything try getting closer to it)

Free yourself.

Put on Ghillie.(And bug repellant to not get annoyed by swarms)

Give it some Parasaur to eat.(Increases effectivity)

Remove ghillie.(Again bug repellant)

Let yourself get webbed with Blood bags in your inventory.

These things like to spawn in the clouds

Get ~300 bloodpacks for a high lvl, and a tame like moschops or so with high hp. First let it grab you so taming starts. Effectivity will be around 50% - punch it to escape. Let it grab and kill your tame, effectivity will increase up to 100%.... let it grab you again to soak all your bloodpacks.... Tadaa... perfect tame!

If you have really good multipliers, do NOT pump health. When a Bloodstalker gets below 40% health, it will eat its rider. It's quite annoying.

Use 1500 bags for 150 tame. Hopefully the monkey brained devs will fix this.

Dododex said 105 blood packs for the tame. I caluculated 25% more on top of that and it still wasn’t enough. I needed almost 200 bloodbacks. Point is, take a lot more then what it says.

Awesome tame , like a giant spider that sucks blood. Can swing from objects and cling and climb
