If u tame a lvl130-150 with 50k HP and rest on melee it will make u King of sea.:-)

U can tame it...But it takes time for higher lvls.But with some patience,U can get it.If ur even not have the saddle engram,It's useful.It can get natural oil through its inventory and u can even kill it for instant oil...But I recommend using icthy for taming and killing one...

I have tamed one whale (in wild it had 125 level) in ARK:Mobile with common meat, prime meat (it was near the Deadly island with big populations of carnotaurs and argentavises) and special balm. With me were baryonyx and ichthiosaurus. I have stunned rays with baryonyx and kill them all, and after this I was feeding the whale.

Now, I have an 208lvl basilosaurus and it is imbalance! I'm fighting off megalodons, I'm sinking mosasaurs! Giant squid? Bash it! Jellyfishes and electrophoruses? Smash it! Alpha predators? Crush it! 23,600 - health, 1500 - stamina, over 200 - basic damage, and near the surface its health regenerates very quickly. The coolest underwater animal for me!

If you level up it’s health even once is gets more then 400 health! And that’s only when you level it’s health up once, mine is a level 30 and it’s got over 7000 health and does massive damage to sharks and mantas! I haven’t even mentioned yet how it keep you warm in cold areas and keeps you cold in warm areas so your temperature is neutral! This is second only the the giant squid!

This whale is so good gets jelly with no prob and make oil by just swimming still

Guys you need a lot of those in genesis because they don’t electric damage like eels and cniadras especially in the oceans boss fight.Good luck survivor

They make oil and are easy to tame with another swimming Dino and are great tames!

This and a baryonyx are an absolute dream team for alpha megs and caves!

These guys are definitely a great first water tame all you have to do is get a raft and shoot the manta around it with a crossbow luring them away from the basilo and quickly swim to it and feed it repeat these steps and you have a basilo

One of the best tames on genisis because its slightly better then normal ones and nothings follows it in the ocean and also you can get its kibble by tier 3 loot crates

I haven't ever been damaged or had a notification of being damaged from the deep sea parts while riding this thing. I've been along the seabed multiple times with no issue at all.

Please upgrade stamina so you're not like me where you're getting eaten by everything in the ocean. If that does happen hop off it and hope that it destroys everything and doesn't die.

The basilo does like 200 damage when it it tamed

People say that it takes damage in the deep and you should not take it there but unless you have a very low level the damage is very little compared to the health of this creature.

These things are just the best and if you don’t think so then try taming one and you will se the supreme power of theses under water god.

So I was expecting the Taming to be more difficult....It actually wasn't that bad at all honestly but I did use Theri. Kibble as food. Now the thing NO ONE mentioned is if you ever expect to Imprint one of these it takes A LOT!!!! I literally used like 15 Eery Candy and because it wants a lot of kibble, like 15 different kibbles had to be given to it as well. (Just FYI)

I like to use mine in tandem with my pack of megalodons for hunting squid, especially alphas.

I ride my basi and get the squid to focus on me while my sharks swarm it. Combined with my Basi's high health and melee, it usually makes short work of them (and most everything else, really).

If you live life with a generator, this is your match. Along with hide, this thing can make gasoline in no time, due to oil being produced similar to Achatinas, with their cementing paste.
