This is how to tame it

Get a itchy

Get raw meat or raw prime meat or raw prime fish meat.

Try to find one in the ocean. (If your in single player of your low level it will appear when your higher level)

If you found one with mantas around try to feed it and run away when the mantas start trying to attack you.

Boom you have a sea sausage

Breed and imprint it up to 100%, max it's attack and it's health over 10k welcome you've got yourself a Submarine.

These things are SO SLOW... But they help you not get electrocuted by anything so W?

An amazing badass dinosaur. When I was bringing this dude back to my base, I kept getting swarmed by mega’s. My bailo kept pulling me out of tough situations and easily could take on four megas at once. Just make sure to buff up its health as it takes awhile to even damage this dude. Literally, my favorite dinosaur. I’d pick bailo’s over mega’s any day.

When taming, make sure you kill all the mantas as they are a pain in the ass when your trying to tame the bailo. I got lucky and found my bailo stuck on a rock in shallow water, allowing me to kill all the mantas. I’d recommend a sarco or itchy for keeping up with the bailo as you try and tame it. Make sure to get the mantas to follow you out of the water and where the water is shallow enough for you to stand. Pikes are could for killing these mantas, just hold the attack bar down as they circle you, don’t let up or your dead. Stay near the shore when taming. Be patient and wait for the bailo to come to you when trying to find. :)

I killed a basilo while sitting on ichy, it dropped 458 oil

Tired of jellyfish? This guy is immune to their string set them in aggresive and ur underwater tame are safe for now

A versatile tame in most sections. Combat, gathering, and exploring. It’s useful in most areas of the ocean except for deep diving. Unless ou don’t mind it’s help going down slowly it’s a great deep sea tame too. Especially how easy it is to get with the right dinos and prep.

These things are actually very strong for how easy they’re are to tame (relatively). I tamed a lvl 100 (wild, lvl 149 once tamed) and killed a pack of like 10 megalodons and only lost like 50 hp (it has 14K hp total).

Not entirely sure about Bas' Alt attack but it'll make a rainbow at surface levels.

This thing is insane mine took out 5 megaladons at one time

U can tame it...But it takes time for higher lvls.But with some patience,U can get it.If ur even not have the saddle engram,It's useful.It can get natural oil through its inventory and u can even kill it for instant oil...But I recommend using icthy for taming and killing one...

Perhaps the most versatile, combat oriented, tankiest, and easiest water tames, I’ve converted two basilo’s into near-invincible war machines I can only describe as ARK’s equivalents of an underwater John-117. I, no joke, led 20 or so megalodons to one and all of them were shredded in under a minute. Also they produce oil, which is nice, but it spoils, so I usually solve the oil situation with my dunkleosteus. Very well rounded and a PASSIVE tame, would certainly recommend!

Tamed ones attract Icthys too!

I have tamed one whale (in wild it had 125 level) in ARK:Mobile with common meat, prime meat (it was near the Deadly island with big populations of carnotaurs and argentavises) and special balm. With me were baryonyx and ichthiosaurus. I have stunned rays with baryonyx and kill them all, and after this I was feeding the whale.

Now, I have an 208lvl basilosaurus and it is imbalance! I'm fighting off megalodons, I'm sinking mosasaurs! Giant squid? Bash it! Jellyfishes and electrophoruses? Smash it! Alpha predators? Crush it! 23,600 - health, 1500 - stamina, over 200 - basic damage, and near the surface its health regenerates very quickly. The coolest underwater animal for me!
