Back on my old save I had a basilo named BIG BOI. He was my second best water tame ever and helped me tame a plesiosaur. Sadly after I left the ocean for a bit I never saw him again. I deleted the save out of sadness. 1 like=1 prayer for BIG BOI.
Many moons ago, I was out in the ocean right by Herbivore Island on my Baryonyx, Flamberge. I decided to go get a Basilosaurus, and I got one soon enough. She wasn't very good, so I went and found another one. I soon met my first good female Basilosaurus, and when she came up to the surface, with me, she looked pink! She was so beautiful! I couldn't help but want bubble gum, so I called her Bubbles.
I couldn't help but talk to her a lot. She seemed to have a lot of personality, and if I was any good at drawing Ark creatures, I so would have made a comic involving a mini Bubbles and I.
After resetting The Island, I tried taming a high level female Basilo, and realized very quickly how lucky I was not to have more mantas spawn around Bubbles while I tamed her.
Bubbles, I hope we meet again, my girl. You made fighting in the ocean that much more fun.
"Can we focuse on surviving? That would be great." Jerry replied
"If any of us die, it will be your fault"
Rick said, still will an angry tone.
"Shut up, both of you" the man said
"Um, we still don't know who you even are, so stay out of this." Rick told the man
"I'm a healer, or medic, or whatever you want to call it. My name is Eden." He said
"Shut up." Rick said quietly
"Can we please make u-"
"SHUT UP!" Rick said, and soon they realized why....Someone was coming. They hid, and it was easy, since it was still very dark. The person walked by and Rick came out from hiding and slammed a rock into his head with full force, killing him instantly.
"That was unnecessary" Jerry said
"Too late now" Rick replied In way that sounded like he thought it was funny.
Jerry looked down and noticed that it wasn't the man that he had seen earlier with his Dodo who Rick killed...
So I’ve only been on this game for a couple months so I don’t know tooo much about it. Anyways I tamed one of these guys after a failed ichthyosaurus tame. So I was bringing it home with it following my raft because I was to low of level to get the engram for it’s saddle. However, that’s when 7 Megladons come up and attack my Baliosaurus! I thought he was going to die in 5 seconds, but then something strange happened I realized it killed one of the megladons! And then another and then another! It was a monstrosity! I came to help it out (not that it needed any) and finished off the last one for it. Anyways we got home with only a fraction of its health depleted and it killed basically everything hostile on the way. Therefore, this is why you should definitely, as soon as possible get one of these to become your best buddy.
It can deal high damage, and has a large health pool. (I tamed a level 8 to help me find more and he dealt about 96 damage with no melee points upgraded.) he is also immune to jelly fish, therefor good for farming biotoxin. I have also heard he is immune to squid grabs, that I have yet to try out. They heal quicker at the surface, and are recommended for the underwater caves. (You would want a strong and imprinted one for the caves though.)
I didn’t know there was trilobites in ark until I tamed this whale. I also didn’t know how great this was, I tamed a lvl 2 then right after I tamed it a shark attacked me and my whale killed easily and fast then I saw it had 2400 life and 280% or something like that damage. I named my whale MunchySharky after that because the first time I saw this (a while before this) I thought it was a shark and munchy because it eats a lot of food fast it had 67 fish meat from the shark I checked it’s inventory a little later and it had 30 fish meat left.
My basilo killed a alpha squid... circled around it and attacked it and that’s how I killed it with a basilo. My basilo has 25,000 hp (he had 19,000 at the time.) and was dealing 320 damage. Basilosaurus are truly the king of the sea.
