On Mobile the ichties and mantras will swim away after the first feeding but the ichties will come back after a few minutes but the mantas will go forever and will be very far away

Cannot be Tamed with raw or cooked Meat!! Taming Effectiveness will Hit 0 before it hits 100%!!!

This is great for players who want a lot of fish meat,just hop onto a ichty and go near this thing and feed it kibble(20-100 depending on level) it will take some time through so be patient,once tamed equip it with saddle and boom!!!,no megalodon or dunklectous will survive because your new pet menaces them all!!!,it can take on 100 megalodons and stay intact but watch out for stamina !!

When taming this NEVER USE A MEG they have TRASH stamina an itchy or a sarco would do good

If you are using therizino kibble and don’t really care about effectiveness you can feed it prime meat (not prime fish meat) and it’s second feed ussally takes abou 5 times longer so if you feed it prime then therizino kibble it’ll be a lot quicker trust me I tryed it (on mobile btw)

If you feed them raw meat you will be able to tame it will not start dropping if it does start using prime fish meat and normal prime also the most dangerouse thing for a basalosaurus that you will likely encounter is a plesiosaur

Make sure to bring more kibble to tame this guy.

I get scammed from dododex

Just tamed one and taking back to my base, haven’t made saddle yet, but he’s already awesome. ( I mean she. ) She took about a year just to take one damn nibble of my raw meat ( don’t feed it it fish meat unless prime fish meat) but after the first bite she ate pretty quick. When taming it’s a passive tame. If your taming don’t think it’s a bug coz it won’t let you feed him again after first one he’s just tasting

Keep in my mind the first feeding interval after the intial one, can take up too 15 minutes from my wxperiwnce before the basilo is ready too eat again. I have a rented server and this is on 20x taming!

Found one near S3 E1, I killed the mantas ( it was right at the surface) and I tamed it, I lived at South 1 so I headed back (I had an Itchy) and I got close to my home then it got mauled by Megaladons, about 15-ish of them, I was very sad that I just tamed him then 2 minutes later he’s in the megaladons stomachs

I experimented with taming a level 5 of this guy on an Icthy. Just thinking on experimenting with the taming effectiveness of raw meat and raw fish meat. Fed it on my Icthy (not dismounted) with raw fish meat first. It got if I remember correctly 6 mantas with it. The mantas tried to locate me but were unsuccessful so they patrolled around for a while. They never located me then I accidentally hit the basil with Icthy trying to kill the mantas. The mantas ran away leaving me free to tame it. P.S. They didn’t come back to the basil.

Mine keeps losin it's taming bar

Basilosaurus has a taming glitch for me. I've been on Ragnarok and whenever I feed them (exceptional kibble or anything else) they eat it & I see them taming but they don't hungry again. I can punch them & they will get hungry but then their taming undos to zero. I'm trying on crystal isles & again thing, it has been going on for about six months when I can't tame them. Anyone else have the problem or suggestion ? I'M using dododex for feeding intervals & other taming info.

This is more of a question then a tip: how do you foretame not-violent in mobile?

For breeding must prepare raw meat around full weight of it's inventory cause it's food bar is very high and baby basilo eats so lot so lots of meat prepare in advance (mobile version offline)

Grab an Icthy and raw meat, go to herbivore island, find one off the coast, and you’re basically done. You can outspeed the mantas easily, and clear out the megalodons in the area as well.

Just tame a million megladons bring them have them agro on what ever nasty is guarding it and then happy taming also raw meat works fine on these guys so long as it's a low level

Get a Shadowmane or a very strong fast water creature and kill everything around. If close enough the Mantas will join the fight and leave the Basi. Once finished with killing everything enjoy a nice quiet passive tame..
