Have a friend lure away the mantas away then go in with the kibble

Use a spino and bug repellent and this tame is easy as hell if you have a bat you can find them easily at night as well then go back in the day

To tame have a mount in the water that can kill the Manta surrounding this creature. Once you agro the Mantas quickly get to your mount and have it kill the mob. Then swim close and start the tame.

There is usually one at herbivore island in the pond area and it is not too cold or hot in that area either so in my opinion, herbivore island is the best place to go for a basilo.

Tame a sino and make a scream and all the mantas will leave

If you don’t want to worry about mantas or megs, use a Baryonyx. Pull everything in the area and spam stun, then chomp on the stunned enemies until everything is dead. Then you can just follow the Basilosaurus around without having to worry about enemies

It’s worth noting that Sinomacrops’ ability to scare creatures APPLIES TO MANTAS. If you go near a Basilosaur, and punch/aggro a manta, your Sinomacrops can scream and scare off the Mantas, and they usually won’t come back in my experience so far

I tamed up a megladon sarco and Barry they went with them found a basi shoot at the mantas they agro kill them all start taming and then you have 3 creatures to protect you easy easy tame !

Do not tame basil with raw or cooked fish meat

If ure are planning to imprint this guy, from my experience get 3 of ur dinos filled with meat the babies eat A LOT It ate 1 stack in 30 to 40 seconds

These guys can be dangerous sometimes make sure to be careful when taming!
