What are tips for basilosaurus? Tips and strategies for basilosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Guys can anyone tell me where can I find these creatures on mobile? I have unlocked it's saddle already and was searching for it whole day with diplocaulus and only what I got is dozens of megalodons
They are super easy to tame if you have a sarco, all you have to do is lead the rays away from it and then feed it and every time things come back to attack you just lead them away, then go back and quickly feed it. Rinse and repeat.
Warning: the basilosaurus takes almost as long to tame as a diplodocus. I recommend not wearing a scuba tank until the second feed or you'll go through like 5 tanks. Remember to kill every other animal in the area or they'll attack you and if the basilo gets hit you gotta start all over.
I found my first one at HERBIVORE ISLAND ( on mobile ) and i lost my level 30 meg with 1000 health and lists of damage to multiple megs but my bary killed the mega due to them having low heath thanks to Maggie my meg, now I’m using my bary to kill the manta’s and a diplo to give me oxygen ( I’m level 52 ) and I’m gonna game a basilo now XD
I found mine in the ocean map you can find a lot of theme there.
Found a neat level 28 stuck at the bottom of the ocean. Taming the boy with raw fish prime & Raw meat on my Karpo, with speed 200% on. Doing well- been peaceful as I just swim around him with my Karpo, feeding him meat. Hasn’t attacked me once. As if he’s been waiting for me to find him, tame em. Hope I don’t run out of meat. Assuming their passive despite how they are in real- ;)
On Crystal Isles, there are some shallow pools where this whale will spawn in the Redwood area. Found a few 130's.
These creatures are amazingly useful even UNtamed. If you kill them, they give you at least 300 oil, each. When tamed, they regen ridiculously quickly at the surface, and are rather good for getting anything aquatic. Nothing beats a Basilo for underwater fights either. Also, you can name them Pickle Rick and Pickle Rick is the best, so, win win.
Not So Fun Fact: after tame EVERYTHING will attack. I have a max level male and I just tamed anothet max to breed right? I let the newly tamed female stay where it is while I go grab the saddle I forgot. On my way back I get a death message from the basilo and my eyes start tearing up because it took me like- an hour to find that max female and now I'm sad.
Bring a couple of baryonyxes(?) and shoot one manta. They all come after you. Run away from the basilosaurus, and when far enough turn and have the baryonyx gobble them up. Got a level 100 with four kibbles.
Can some one help me? I cannot find one cuz scared of jelly fish also tame the with kibble
I legitimately just shot the mantas and used a soothingbalm rip the 🤣mantas🤣
I play Single player and tamed this creature lvl 120 as my first fully aquatic creature. I fully upgraded saddle at upgrade station and this thing is apsolutne monster. Not any of other sea creatures is even close to killing it. Kills mosas without any problem, receives very little damage with saddle armour. Personally I think of it as best sea mount because of it's immunity to stuns and grabs.
just tamed one about level 15 or something with around 20 cooked prime meat, you can find a few around the little island in the south-east corner of the map. they'll usually have a few ichthy and mantas following them, the mantas will all attack you when you feed it, and once you kill them be careful to not accidentally feed your meat to one of the ichthy instead. the maximum depth the basil swims to is about the maximum depth you can safely swim to without drowning, you can swim down by yourself with no mount or scuba gear, feed the basil once with half air left, then swim up and breath right when you're about to start drowning. it's pretty terrifying. please bring a mount that swims faster than you or scuba gear or level up your air or something. don't tame with regular meat or fish if you're trying to tame the stupid way like i did, but if you want to tame it with lots of meat or fish make sure you can stay down there for longer.
A very amazing creature for the water if you have a high level one stated with health and melee it can kill almost everything the only thing I would watch out for is high level alpha mosa otherwise they can be electrocuted by anything, electroflorus, and jellyfish no more, also tuso's can't grab them.
