Shoot one of the mantas from far away to kite them and kill them all. From there, all you need to do is kill the occasional megalodon and you should be golden. Baryonyx highly recommended for this.

People often tame these for fun or for free oil. Little do they know killing a wild one gives 400+ oil

Basilo is good for weight, and speed in the ocean.

1. Have a sea creature with you and try to attack the manta around it and be careful not to hurt it.

2. Feed raw fish. (It is a passive tame not a knockout tame)

3. It will be awhile to tame but have a good time with your basilo!

Just killed a low level alpha mosa in a head on 1v1 on my lvl 250 Basilo and only lost 5k health out of my 20K using a primitive saddle. If you have a good saddle for it and pump enough points into its health and melee you can definitely overpower every wild creature in the ocean with a basilo, including high lvl alpha mosa.

I found one near the Dragonmalte Trench on Rag. If you have a lightning wyvern, you can use its breath weapon to quickly dispose of the mantas. Also, utilize the herds of Ovis in the Highlands for plentiful mutton for the tame. Got mine real quick with no issues.

TIP:These Spawn Around the Edges of the map And spawn Rarely I think Go deep under water to find these (Note:This was for ppl Who Don’t know how to find it)

there's a crush depth on the basilosaurus and it will start dying there's no way to go further down with a basilo and don't try to even use infinite stats it will instantly die when it goes in it's crush depth

Looks aggressive on here I know, but they are the nicest things

They generate oil passively, are immune to Cnidaria stun affects, protect you from the elements, a level 30 or so can kill a alpha meg.

How to tame: Basilosaurus. You will need: Icthy with saddle, a nearby leed and a basilo to tame. Step 1: get on your icthy and scrape meat off the leed until you get prime fish meat. Step 2: find your basilo and put the meat in your hot bar. Step 3: feed meat to the basilo, don't worry, the mantas won't aggro on your icthy. TIP: The interval from 1st to 2nd feed take awhile, but after that it goes pretty quick, so after that interval, be on your guard. Step 4: Keep feeding until it's tamed. TIP: Before you start to passive tame it, bite it once, the mantas will swim away, then start to passive tame, you can still passive tame. Or you can bite it during 1st to 2nd interval. Step 5: there is your very own basilo! lead it back to yoir base and name it.

Best to tame the x version of those in Genesis. They usually swim alone there, without mantas and another staff. But beware - if you disconnect in Genesis ocean you die - and have to look for your body and Dino. My megalodon is still swimming somewhere out there...

Btw don’t use a megalodon the manta will beat it up

Best place to find max lvls is Genesis in the ocean biome. PS. Have a rock drake in your pocket for easy escape.

Just so mobile players know, it is very hard to find a high level from my past experiences 😔 So if you happen to find a decently high level, I recommend either remembering the area or just tame it as soon as possible because the high level ones are so rare. The highest level I have found is a level 60 and I have played on this particular server for over a year now 😬

Guys can anyone tell me where can I find these creatures on mobile? I have unlocked it's saddle already and was searching for it whole day with diplocaulus and only what I got is dozens of megalodons
