One of the best raiding dino's on the island, if not the best. It can destroy any material.

Make sure you don't wear armor around them

Because they will destroy it. Use bug repellent so they don't automatically attack you. If you need spoiled meat make sure you have each raw meat split up individually that way once 5 mins passes by it all spoils at once

Arrows do an INCREDIBLE amount of damage, so use those instead of letting it destroy your melee weapons!!! 🗡🏹

Does anybody know where to find these on ark mobile i would like one for protection when scouting and i havent found any yet.

I will make a list of pros and cons about this creature:

Pros:

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING will aggro to you, even if you attack it

Inflicts torpor

Can melt armor, harvest dead bodies from afar with acid ball

Swims the same speed as walk

Cons:

Terrible weight (100) you're going to have to stuff your whole inventory somewhere, and maybe even your armor

Saddle requires 35 obsidian

Something I've noticed:

Wild ones can deal constant (like .5 sec between attacks) damage to you, but tamed ones, not even mounted ones can, and I get this needs to be balanced, but make it only work on wild creatures or something, I would love to see it work

Cheat The yeti cave on mobile by doing it on an arthro, almost nothing attacks them

Go in a cave with water if they are under water you can tame without them agroin you just use a scuba tank

It's can destroy tek walls. useful for tek raids

They actually don't deal torpor with their mouth.

I find the best way to knock these out and tame them is to simply lead them into the water and grapple to them and they instantly de-aggro and it’s just a matter of feeding it. It has worked many times. Also no ghillie or bug repellent required 👍

Lol the mr. wick and dog story got me. Anyways back to all seriousness unless u have armor and a sword or guns DO NOT ENGAGE. This beast will knock u out in like 1 bite and kills in like 3 or 4

I hunt bronto with this . They don’t get recive aggro from them. Note I am on mobile

1 put a ghillie suit on.

2 camp in a bush nearby enemy base.

3 use the poison ball spit attack on base

Great for being annoying to bases as it can even damage tek

How to tame : bring a scorpion, tamed within cave (easily, with a frog), so nothing gonna agro on you

Uses (tonnes of uses) :

1 destroy armour and structure, even Tek ones

2 has tonnes of damage, in range attack

3 primary attack give some torpidity (not so much, but some)

4 deals damage back (when something agros on you, it get some damage back)

5 As it mostly spawn in cave, just tame it within, so almost nothing would agro on you while riding (unless you'd stupidly use some extra weapon), and even if it randomly agroes on you, it would be just for few attacks form the opponent wild, so you'd be almost invincible

6 definitely the best fighter, even if it's a bit slow and low on stamina

To the people who say they only take broth of enlightenment suck a d bc they take spoiled meat

Dump all points into melee damage and u got urself a base killer

I know people are saying their arthros are getting aggroed on, but the no aggro only works if you tamed it IN a cave. Same with the scorpions. If you tame it outside of a cave, you’re still going to get attacked.

Ghillie and bug repalent still managed to get eaten use broth of enlightenment it makes this much easier I learned the hard way

Here is very simple taming tutorial.

1. Craft Ghillie set if possible.

2. Must use Bug Repellent.

3. Take Spoiled Meat for fast tame.

(Optional) Take it's Saddle with you.

4. Go for Central Cave (near volcano "39.6--46.9")

5. Use Bug Repellent and enter in the hell.

6. The first creature you will see is your Arthro.

7. Don't worry about other creatures just get a little bit close to it & start feeding it.

8. Yeah buddy, now you have An Electric Vehicle for any caves.
