This is by far the best creature to do the Yeti Cave in. It has a little quirk where wild dinos don’t aggro on it

Don’t try to knock it out as you can not knock it out it tames by feeding it by HAND!!

Raising/breeding baby phase they only eat spoiled meat juv and in they eat regular meat and spoiled meat.

Acid spit collects corpses. Maybe bug? Also make sure you bring the saddle into the cave with you, or you will spend many aggravating hours trying to get it to follow you out, as it gets stuck on every little thing.

If you see one of these strip down and accept death….

Or don’t and have your tek armor ripped to shreds in seconds

Single player uses:

1. Cave mount: They aren't powerhouses, but they can fit in small spaces and reflect damage back to their attacker.

2. Base defender, "Guard dog": They spit acid, you can have a bunch of them stationed on towers and set to aggressive turret mode.

High level centipedes are very tanky when tamed due to the acidic blood. This means it is a great Dino to protect the base. Also the spit can harvest bodies and cut down trees from far away. Can use as a quetzal defense Dino. Just set to turret mode.

Attacking them makes you loose heath as well as them

On the artifact cave on the island near rock island. ( Artifact of the hunter) they spawn on land and in water. When they spawn in water you can go in the water and tame them they are passive in the water.

It is very easy to defeat them, just use ranged weapons and then you are good

For people on mobile, it’s simple, first cave tame a areneo, if they are tamed in a cave, no cave creature will attack it, go to the central cave, ride your areneo and find these things, feed it spoiled meat until tamed, the best part is once you have a saddle for the arthropluera, nothing attacks you when your on its back, ((WARNING)) never get off the areneo’s back while taming, everything will attack you even when you go back on its back, I hope this helps you guys

Yes they still have stealth BUT if at any point they have ever died or been chronicalled, they will lose the stealth. You cannot revive tame, or they lose stealth.

Just bait it into the water and it will auto deaggro.

Let it sink to the bottom while you kill off the spiders and anything else attacking you.

Once all threats are clear swim down and take :)

Be mindful that arthro spit can break or severely damage even high-quality armor in a single hit. This is most notably a problem in swamp cave since if your gas mask or scuba breaks you will start taking poison gas damage. Stay safe in caves and bring some backup armor.

Be extremely cautious when taming these guys can destroy all ur armor with one spit. I also don't suggest attacking them bc that will break ur weapons real fast. If u r in a cave either avoid it or dodge it's spit while shooting it. It is a passive tame that requires spoiled meat or broths of enlightenment. You need to use bug repellent when taming it and I suggest also wearing gillie for extra safeness. Once tamed they are best used as turrets bc they don't have great stats and they have a turret mode after all why not use it?

If you plan on building in a cave, build at least 2 layers worth of walls of the material of your choice (the stronger the better). I built in a cave once, I logged in it was fine, I took my raptor out for some meat for my feeding troughs and when I got back, I saw one of these dudes eating my wall. My tames killed it but I had to fix that gap. So if you are planning on building in a cave. Have more than one wall dividing you and the killer centipedes. Or do the the therizinosuarus tips and do the bounce spike wall I mentioned. Never failed me.

For those of you who play pve on official just heads up you will need to tame this guys old school since you can't pick them up with crab/megas, since you may not be able to get them to water so they stay still here's how you do it. Full ghillie and bug repellent make sure you aggro them then bring them to a spot away from other wild dinos (preferably with a drake) wait till deaggro follow them from their tail side don't get infront of their head wait till they stop moving they will stand still for a few seconds then in that instant run to them aim for their head and feed the broth of enlightenment make sure you spam triangle/E if you missed they will raise their heads and attack go away deaggro and try again I tamed 4 last night this way good luck!!

I was the swamp cave encountered two of them i was my bary my bary was lvl 143 375+ mele 2600 hp they were lvl 300+ i killed one off them and ended up run home with the artifact long story short when you encounter two or more in a cave especially the swamp cave run home don't fight them cuz your dino will die
