Easy to tame, steps:

1) Bring a knockout weapon (I like to use a crossbow) and tranqs (around 20-30) and taming food (meat or their kibble)

2) Find one, they are common on all the mountains on The Island

3) Doesn’t really matter what level, as they are all easy to tame, so just find the highest level

4) Aggro it by shooting it with your tranqs

5) It will start chasing you, but it’s slow, so just run, shoot, run, shoot until it gets knocked out

6) Give it its food (meat or their kibble) and Voila! No narcotics needed, and you just got yourself a big eagle that is great for storing metal and moving it around!

As a side note, if you knock them out while they’re regening after eating a corpse, it’s food drops very low, and will eat all of the taming food at once, causing an instant tame!

Get 4 stone dino gates,

2 reinforced wooden Dino gates

Put them in a row and put the doors at the ends

Shoot with a tranq arrow

Lure it over to the trap and get through

Squeeze out the gaps inside

Close the door

Shoot it with tranq arrows

Real beach bobs knock it out with boomerang and feed it meat jerky 😁

To tame an argentavis you first must construct 3 stone gateways and 2 stone gates to build a trap, after well just knock it out!

If you have access to a net gun use it on a argy

An easy way to tame an argie without using a trap is to agro it with your darts/tranq arrows and keep it interested in you, dodging it’s attacks. After you have shot about 1/2 of the tranqs needed into it, use a net with the harpoon gun to net it and prevent it from going into run mode. From there you can finish knocking it out with ease.

Build a trap of 4/5 dino gates easy tame and great for weight

To tame just make 4 wooden gateways and 2 wood gates and lure it in to tame. Shoot it with tranq arrow crossbow to knock out.

The argentavis is one simple trap away from being your first flyer. Who needs a ptranadon when you have an easy argrentavis trap. Start by getting 4 stone dino gateframes and 2 stone dino gates. Metal works aswell as wood, (less reliable) you want tonplace all 4 gate frames in a row hallway style. You want there to be only enough room for you to get through between them. Then place 2 doors on each end open the door lure it in and close the door after you get out. Easy tame use a slingshot, bow, crossbow whatever floats your boat.

Resantly I've found a way to tame most large flyers that are immune to bola try luring them to a ballista and using chain bills to temporarily pine them and then place a large bear trap under them or whatever type of gate trap you want

All u need is 3 wooden Dino gate ways and 2 wooden Dino gates and tranq arrows.I usually aim for 120 + Whalen going for it the first time. They r the mvp of ark in my option until u get to quetzals whist u can tame with argies. Brilliant Dino

A good way to tame argentavis is to make a cage with stone gateways and lure it inside shut the gates and knock it out.

If you find one of these in a dangerous area like carnivore island and you don’t have the materials to tame it, lead it out to sea then try and get back to your base, get the materials and lead it into a trap and tame it.

if you spend to much time around them they will attack beware…

You should let it starve a little bit so when you give it the food it tames up faster.

If you get to an area without many other creature you can just use your rifle with tranqs and kite around the burd because it’s not the fastest

Argys are pretty easy to tame all u gotta do is just make four gates. (Can be wood) then simply start knocking it out after that just feed it it’s fav kibble or some prime👍

Knotted out a lvl 150 looked a stats entered them in the stats calculator on here and it says that the stamina is to high 88 points in stamina (2175) think the calculator is bugged?

I would recommend for taming it to build a 3 stone dino gates and 2 stone dino doors. The space the 3 gates so that your pteranodon can just fly out but not more than that. Put the doors on each end and close on door. Bait the argy inside by going inside with the pteranodon yourself the escape through one of the gate gaps. If u built the trap right he won’t be able to follow. Then hop of the pteranodon and run to the side with the open door and close it. And there we go now u can knock it in peace and the beat part the trap is reusable. Make sure to use tranq darts or better to minimise the chances to kill it.
