I tamed two of these and they were so cute!!!

I used this guy to get to an obelisk on scorched earth. I had been trying to get to the green ob for a very long time and each time I would get caught by terror birds, raptors or wolves. When making my way back again I found an arch and decided I would give it a go, had chitin from a scorpion which died. Went to a cliff and threw myself off it and made way to the obelisk. Safely arrived and managed to set up a base with a bed. They’re a great situational tame, they won’t be something you’ll need for a long time, but they definitely have their uses in the right moments. Always remember creatures special abilities!

Does anyone know how to toggle the glide on mobile?, the tame isn’t as great if u can’t have it on u all the time and u can’t just have it on follow since it walks really slow

“Where do we go now?!” July yelled as she shredded a tear, the baby looked at July and realized that she was crying. The baryonyx baby snuggled up to the raptor to calm her down.”Need a hand?” A voice could be heard from in-front of July, she wiped her tear off her cheek with her claw before looking up. Her pupils constricted as she saw a bulky, deep-voiced Rex standing in-front of her.”PLEASE DON’T HURT ME OR THE BABY!” July yowled, covering her face with her arm feathers while pinching her eyes wondering if it’s the end of her.”Ya’ deaf? I asked if you need help” The Rex said before nudging julys arm off to the side with his snout.”O-oh.. right, I’m sorry it’s just I-“ July said before pausing.”Because I’m a rex? Cruel and scary?” The large carnivore said with a sigh.”I’m sorry again! I didn’t mean it like that!!!” July yelled, embarrassed and sad before standing up and looking at the rex.”I’m sorry if people find you scary.. like me, but I guess that’s because they don’t get a chance to talk with you!” July smiled trying to cheer up the Rex before running over and giving him a hug on the leg. The Rex smiled as July backed up.”And yes.. I do certainly need a hand.”The she Raptor said before picking up the baryonyx baby.”Alright then, follow me.”The Rex smiled as he spun around and walked off, July followed behind.

**Meanwhile**

“Ugh, I thought I could trust July!” Freya mumbled to herself, clenching her hands together.”Trust who?” Thylacoleo asked, walking into the cave. Freya stopped and looking over her shoulder before turning around.”July!” Freya yowled in a mad tone.”She took that egg you said you didn’t want her to take!!” Freya looked up at the Thylacoleo, his brows narrowed.”July..” Thylacoleo growled.”I knew she would do this.”He mumbled while walking out of the rocky, cold cave.

**July and the Rex**

Stomp stomp, the Rex walked as July followed close behind. “Are we almost there?” July asked as she raised a brow, tilting her head at the Rex.”Close”The Rex said as he kept his head straight, looking for the area.”Here.” The Rex smiled as he shoved a boulder out of the way with his head, it was a cave with lots of light, many Male and female Rexs.Julys jaw dropped, she forgot the baby was in her grip. The baby plopped down into the ground.it felt scared so it hid by Julys leg.”Daddy!!” A baby red yelled happily as it ran to the Rex.”Hey Cosmo” The Rex smiled as it looked down at his son.”Darling!” A female Rex said looking over to the other Rex and kissing him on the cheek.”Who May this be?”The she Rex asked as her attention was drawn towards July.”A Raptor I found, they looked like they need help so I brought them here.” The male Rex exclaimed, smiling.”I understand, now.. what’s your name?” The she Rex asked looking at the raptor.”J-July..” July said as her jaw shut.”Ah, wonderful name! My name is Daisy.” She smiled before July spoke.”Who’s he?” July asked pointing at the male rex that brought her there.”I’m Xeno”The male rex said smiling.”And if I got that right he’s-“ July got cut off by a reply she already new.”Im cosmo!”The baby rex said as he ran over and sniffed July.”You smell different..” Cosmo said as he looked back up.”Because that’s a raptor, sweetie” Daisy exclaimed before cosmo realized.”Ooh..”

Hi I am that person who wrote that (hopefully) helpful tip in the manta section on the definition of non violent tamed as well as a scientific view on chitin in archaeopteryx (exoskeleton) I will from here on out be sharing real life dinosaur and animal facts and help with tips for ark itself if anyone sees me on multiplayer mobile give me a shout! So I may have 6 of these…. But I did not know what it was I was in the red woods looking around for some tames terr birds, more 🦦 otters, and looking for some rex to just look at…. Lmao but I had no clue this existed I was playing on mobile I have my play station to but I like mobile a lot but I can tell from my ps5 how many more animals there are so I was like wtf is that he was like running away so I went home to go get some more food and waited till morning and I went to look for more of these guys too find there name and what they are, I found one and looked up the name and tamed this pretty one I bred one her name is flappy

Fun fact about Archaeopteryx, these creatures are the ancestor of birds that you see these days now, these creatures are pretty small and very ancient too. Ark makes a pretty good interpretation of this ancient birb ancestor

I was stuck in the desert and found one tamed it and got out I named him emergency escape after that

I was adventuring the red woods and I found one of these guys on a tree (I was on my pterodactyl) it was a girl and it was sooooo cute and beautiful so I tryd to get it down but it wouldn’t so I had to kill it but I got it’s crystal thingy and was reading the comments and bam I got one

Found one in scorched earth.It’s use as a glider has saved me many times.And then later I found 3 mircoraptors.Somehow tamed them all.Now frien birb (this guy who’s name I can’t spell), diamond,hellspawn, and demon chicken (microraptors) live happily in my base munching on chitin and meat along my raptor leigon.

So sad! When you’ve tamed one and put it on enable wandering it won’t climb trees.

Aki wakes up to a humongous *STOMP* “AHHH!!” Aki screams before waking the others up in fear “JULY JULY!!” Aki screams “Ugh.. what is it?” July asks before tilting her head up and going in a sit position, yawning though half awake “I THINK DERES A MONSTER OUTSIDE!!” Aki replies, trembling though not completely scared “Alright alright, I go check” July says before hopping on her two sharp-clawed feet and checking outside “Wow, I guess my sniffer is really working!!” ??? Says from above the cave before July looks up “OH HEY JANET!!” July says bouncing in joy “Hey July!!” Janet replies “AKI THERES NO NEED TO BE SCARED ITS MY FRIEND, JANET” July yells “I- o-oh k..” Aki says before taking a few steps outside and looking upwards at the tall, sharp-toothed Spino “OH hey! I’ve heard of you, aren’t you.. JANET?” Aki asks before lifting his leg up and taking a quick scratch beside his eye before Janet answers “Well? Do you think? I’m the one and only!!” Janet replies with a loud chuckle “What adventures do you like to go on?” Janet asks a few seconds after the last thing she had said “Well, I don’t really go on adventures myself..” Aki replies tilting his head down a little bit “Well why don’t you try?” Janet asks with a non-aggressive grunt “Look at me! I’m to small and weak to go out on my own..” Aki says tilting his head up at Janet

“Yea and that’s my life!!” Janet says with a proud look on her face “Wowee!!” July and Aki reply before they here a roar/Yawning sound from inside the rocky cave “Oh, That must be Thylacoleo!!” July exclaims before Thylacoleo comes walking out of the cave with heavy eyes, tired though still agile and energized “Oh so this must me your new friend?” Thylacoleo asks before sitting down and grooming his fur “Should we wake Freya up?” July asks “ME ME I WANT TO!!” Aki yells before running into the cave and screaming: “MAMAAAAAAAAAAAA” “WOAH WOAH EASY THERE KIDDO” Freya yells as she gets a shock when she wakes up from her wonderful Beautiful Sleep “JANET IS HERE!!” Aki screams “Who’s Janet?” Asks Freya “Remember? Julys new friend?” Aki asks “Oh right!!” Freya replies scratching her head

“Alright let’s go out on this adventure!!” July says before they head off out of the cave and into the woods “ooh what’s this?” July asks before she eats it and she passes out “Ugh, guess we have to carry her now” Thylacoleo says annoyed before laying down and having Janet push July onto Thylacoleos back before Aki almost falls off a big, Steep hill they look up and see Blue, Trees and.. “BLUE TREES?!” Freya yells “Dude that’s weird!!” Aki replies “That must mean we are in a different biome!” Janet adds “Can we go explore it?” Aki asks before jumping onto Janet’s back “Uh I guess..” Thylacoleo replies, jumping down while the others follow “Janet is July still on my back?” Thylacoleo asks “Yep” Janet replies **Thylacoleos mind: ugh whatever** “Alright, thanks” Thylacoleo says

“Hmm this place is so cool!!” July says looking around at all the X-Dinos “Maybe THERES X-Raptors here!” July adds talking to herself, not knowing what is beyond weird redwoods “hehe! That looks like the perfect snack, she won’t even see it coming..” ??? Mumbles “La la la la~~” July sings as she trots on the mushy green grass before a massive ravager comes jumping out of the bush at her! “OH MY GOD!!” July yells while running as fast as her legs can go but it’s not enough, luckily a Spino was nearby and saw the 2 and decided to help out “U BACK AWAY FROM HER NOW!!” The Spino yells before jumping on her hind legs and smacking the life out of the ravager “Phew! That was a close one, thanks Spino!” July says “Anytime!!” The Spino replies “But.. what’s ur name?” July adds “my name? Oh, well my name is Janet!” Janet says “Wow! Wonderfull name!!” July replies “Thanks! What Dino are they?” Aki asks “There name is Janet and there a Spino, OH and they saved me from a ravager I think you call them” July says while thinking if it’s called a ravager or not “We should probably try to find shelter, we never know what lies beyond aberration” Thylacoleo adds “Ofc!!” July replies as they walk deeper into the aberration environment “Hmm will this rocky cave do?” July asks “We’ll if it can fit all of us and it’s safe, I mean yea” Thylacoleo replies “Alright! Let’s go!” Aki says happily that he can finally sleep, “But how will we get food? Before turning his head and spitting out his tounge “Oh, cmon, be grateful that I’m even giving you food!” The thylacoleo would yell before straightening his eyebrows “I- I hwate you!” Aki would yell “I’m not even 1% suprised kiddo!” Thylacoleo would say before letting out a chuckle

*Meanwhile in the raptor cave*

“Do you think I’m ready to go try and save my son, July?” Freya would ask while looking at July standing infront of the exit “Only if ur future guides you that way..” July would reply “Then I guess it does, Thank you for helping me!” Freya would yell before quickly gliding off into the redwoods looking at the shiny full moon. “Now, copy what I do” Thylacoleo whispers “fine..” Aki reply’s before the Thylacoleo pounces on a dimorphadon biting it’s neck and ripping it’s flesh open until bone has been shown “I- I think I can do that..” Aki says nervously while the Thylacoleo enters the bush again, waiting for a dimorphadon “I think there’s a dimorphadon right there, now copy what I did” the Thylacoleo says before Aki rushingly sprints into the air landing on the dimorphadon, injuring it but Aki got kicked off of it due to Akis size “Oh, maybe you should try bugs instead, there smaller and more ur hunting for now” the Thylacoleo reply’s before picking up Aki and heading to find some bugs. The sun starts to rise while Freya lands, panting in exhaustion due to gliding all night, “I may be tired but I can’t give up!!” Freya tells herself before jumping up into the air saving her own life right before a rex chomps down on where Freya was sitting **Freyas mind: Well that was one close of a call!!** Freya thinks before looking at the Rex and back infront of her “Eww! A dead dimorphadon!!” Freya says before sniffing the air “THYLACOLEO!!” Freya yells before following the sent of the Thylacoleo. “What’s ur name anyway?” Aki asks “Oh! Well my name is-“ The Thylacoleo says before getting cut off by Freya diving towards the Thylacoleo knocking the Thylacoleo off the tall branch and lands on the ground with Freya on top before getting wrapped off by a massive paw “THIS ISNT OVER YET THYLACOLEO!!” Freya yells before nipping the Thylacoleos tail while the Thylacoleo sways its tail aggressively and fast making Freya go flying off, landing in a soft bush “STOP!!” The Thylacoleo yells while Aki jumps down from the high branch and landing on the Thylacoleos back before hopping off and going beside Freya “STOP? YOU KILLED MY HUSBAND AND STOLE MY SON!!” Freya would yell while displaying her feathers and landing back on the ground “There’s a reason I did it..” The Thylacoleo reply’s “And why is that?!” Freya asks “Ur husband wasn’t who you think he was!! He almost killed me when I was a cub!! And he meant to..” the Thylacoleo tells Freya before Freya has a very shocked expression on her face “Oh.. I am so sorry! But why did you steal my son?” Freya calms herself but questions the Thylacoleo “Because I didn’t know there was a mother, I didn’t know there was a mother alive, I just thought it wasn’t safe for it to be there and decided to take it, I was gonna raise it but now I realized ur the mother.. I’m sorry, you may take ur son” the Thylacoleo says before deeply apologizing
