These things are a godsend for platform saddle dismounting. No more wasting parachutes, fall damage or doing acrobatics on the tail. Just have one of these parked on the platform hand your all set.

you need a bola to tame him/her, because when it see you, then it run to the trees.I mean on the trees.

Use this with a gigantopithecus’s throw ability and you can get some serious speed and distance.

Archy was a good bird but he was killed by a tek raptor and now I have Alduin his brother and archy would be proud of his brother.

You can find them in Redwoods. They so smol so increase yo resolution in settings.

If you saw a little birb climbing a Redwood Tree, it is an Archaeopteryx. They are so fast and hard to bola. If you manage to find its egg then pick it up so they will start chasing you. Now it's easier to catch them. Shoot them tranqs and feed them chitin congrats now you have veri cute birb.

Just Bola ,it knock it Out(you dont need arrows, a Club ist enough) and Feed it with Chitin.

Oh no a alpha carno sike proceeds to jump off cliff with archy these are a must have tame they are cute they can collect sap on wander and remebr they are a great parachute for scouting just jump off a high place and glide

Their usually found in the red woods, and are often times found climbing trees, but I have seen a few on the ground. If your looking to tame one, I’d suggest getting several bola, and crouch near it, and bola it down, a lvl 50 or so should only take 3-4 darts, anything above that will be more, but they shouldn’t take much. After that or before, grab some chitin, I’d suggest getting 100+ incase, they don’t rot but you never know if you’ll find a high lvl one you don’t have enough for.

If your also on multiplayer and your close to cap, I’d suggest waiting for cap to go off, before fully knocking one out. I made the mistake of doing it with cap and mine starved to death cause you can’t force feed them chitin

Standard tame, similar to a Dodo, except you need Ghillie armor and a bola. Once trapped in the bola, they can be knocked out by just punching them a few times and then they’ll go night-night. From there you just have to feed them chitin to make them love you, but be careful, as their torpor drain is a fair bit hasty so bring any sedatives such as narcoberries or bio-toxin and you should have your fluffy Archaeopteryx bird!

If u play ark survival evolved mobile well you should see this these little creatures can be found in Redwood you can use these as parachute not like make them they are parachute I forgot what they eat but they are helpful and I hope this is helpful as well

It's a very good bird. It really helps with staying in the air if you fall off your flying mount and need to get back on. It's practically living glider!

Yos they spawn in redwoods bring a argy and use a bow to tame arrow

Using just an archaeopteryx if you jump from a very high place you can travel the entire map with little to worry about. They are also good for when that one god damn microraptor gets you and your argy.

put a lot of levels in weight and like someone else said put no levels in movement.

They’re in the redwoods. And make a distinct sound when they see you. They get scared & will fly half way up a tree. After they fly up a tree, aim and shoot with tranq’s! After they fall, use kibble or chitin to tame.
