When tamed they can slow down any thing they are awesome even though I hate spiders and I’d love if they could climb

Guys im playing on ark ultimate mobile edition, and im trying to tame a araneo by knockout, but it has no torpor bar, im playing on the island, ez mode, and i just cant find one with the torpor bar, any tips on how to get one?

Use this for caving I used this in the Devorer cave and avoided everything my going down on a web avoided mostly everything best tlc ever top over cave mount these days

On mobile only. if you tame any cave creature in a cave, nothing inside the cave, or outside the cave, or in any cave will Agro on you This only works for mobile.

Shooting webs knockout Dino’s and you can tame!

Maybe add a ability wich allows this creature to climb any material also trees and rocks

Taming a spider as a battle mount is quite useless but its ability to spray web at a target and severally slow them is ideal when taking on fast enemy's or large highly resistant creatures

Fun tame good for base defense. Put a few in the bird cage or tame garage. Single not very effective but 4-5 will wreck kids.

Taming tip! Lead them to water! Araneo will lose aggro once it submerged in water so just swim downward and wait for it to stop swimming, then swim back up to it and feed spoiled meat till it drowns or till it’s tame, whichever comes first lol. Great way to get one with a good oxygen stat! 😂

For mobile:

1.Tame a low level pulmonoscorpius in a cave(recommended)/use bug repellent

2.bring spoiled meat

3.passive tame so feed it until it's tamed up

They can web any dinos so use that to your advantage

An easy way to tame it is to use a kapra to grab it run it out of the cave and put it in your taming pin.

Go inside Hunter Cave.

Apply Bug repellent.

Find and choose an Araneo you need.

Feed spoiled meat non violently.

Equip it saddle.

Run any cave you want and nothing will attack you.

*This technique works only if an Araneo is tamed in a cave.*

*Do not, never request the creature else cave dinos will attack you.

Lesser known fact for mobile. On top of being invisible to wild cave creatures if you’re riding this cave tame, you can even attack using the secondary web attack AND REMAIN INVISIBLE! The web attack does not draw aggro on mobile. Not tested on PC

The mouth isn’t right. It has 4 mandibles with webbing, clearly pointing a reference to the Predators without their thermal mask.

Don't underestimate this creature in PvP. A webbed player is effectively blind. You can also use the webs for taming, similarly to the moth in Scorched Earth, by shooting webs onto a Dino and blasting them with tranq arrows and darts before they can run away/fight back.
