What are some stories about the angler? Memorable angler stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
Sorry that under the waves has been postponed for so long! I’ve been dealing with some irl issues.. anyway, have chapter 3!
Pearl stared at the island for a long time. Eventually she left, seeping underwater. She had no idea why the humans kept trying to hunt her down, but she had learned a few tricks to evade them. As she kept swimming, she spotted a large movement. Startled, she veered back, but the creature had spotted her. She tried to escape, but it was faster. The strange creature closed its metallic jaws around her, and swam down at startling speeds. Shrieking in pain, she bit as hard as she could at its eye. The creature roared, loosening its grip as she swam towards a coral reef at top speed. When she was in the safety of a large reef structure, she managed to get a good look at it. It had a long, serpentine body and massive metal jaws. Then suddenly it turned towards her and smashed into the reef. She was trapped, and she needed to breathe. She made a swim for it, leaping to the surface, not even caring bout the human rafts right above her. She would probably die either way. The humans started screaming at her, and loaded their harpoons, shooting at her. The leviathan swam after her, smashing into one of the boards and nearly biting her tail. The humans retaliated, shooting something explosive at the creature. She lay on the surface, limp. She was too tired to move, and every bone in her body ached. Then the humans threw the net around her, and pearl simply let them take her away.

Chapter 2
5 years later
I am now five years old and at that point rock drakes are young adults have to go on a perilous life changing journey to clear this ark of the human scourge. As I was packing for my journey a human came to the red zone and took another egg and as I was old enough I could chase him too. But he exited the red zone we all stopped and I was so angry I couldn’t stop him so I finished packing and swore to kill him as I left for my journey.

Chapter 36: Soon to be Scouting
Part 2/3 (Part Count Increased)
As everyone traveled through the dark forest, a sudden animal cry pierced the air.
Rawk, rawkkk~!
“What was that?!” Skyler asked, on guard.
“I can’t see anything out here, even with Sunny’s hair it’s like my eyes are blindfolded!” Rick noted.
The scratching of wood together brushed everyone’s ears, and a flame was ignited. Everyone looked to the source and saw Ruby carrying a makeshift torch. The flame crackled softly, almost like a whisper.
“Better?” Ruby asked, her implant glowing.
“Better,” Rick said, giving her a thumbs-up. Neddy gasped and pointed at the noise-making creature.
“It’s a Pteranodon! My favorite dinosaur ever!” Neddy sarcastically rejoiced. Ruby shot daggers at Neddy.
“That’s what we’re looking for, right?” Aurora said.
“Yeah, it is,” Samuel replied, “It’s pretty vulnerable. We should create a plan to knock it out. I bet it’ll fly away pretty easily…”
“You’re totally right. But what should we do? Do you think we can get it trapped in the trees? Hold it down, perhaps?” Aurora asked.
“We could do that-”
Paige rolled her eyes, walked up to the Pteranodon, held her club back, and with one fell swoop slammed the club into its skull. It let out a squeak, collapsing to the floor, its tongue sprawling out and its breathing heavy. Its eyes were shut and it seemed unconscious.
“Did you just knock that thing out?” Aurora gasped, bewildered.
“Yeah. That was the plan, right?” Paige smirked.
“It was, but I didn’t expect it to be that easy!” Aurora objected.
“Take it from me, little valedictorian, not everything requires a plan,” Paige grinned, crouching down to look at the Pteranodon, “Some things ya just gotta go with the flow, ya know?”
“After all, not everything’s supposed to make sense.”
“Hm,” Samuel thought.
“So we’re going to have to feed it meat,” Neddy and Rick both said at the same time. Rick looked at Neddy with a sly smile, whispering “dino nerd” to him. Neddy glared at him.
“Well then, let’s get hunting,” Sunny said, taking her slingshot out. Paige twirled her club around, slamming it into her hand. Ruby hooked her torch on her belt and took her crossbow out, loaded with arrows.
“Us three shall go, girls only. We’ll hunt…” Paige looked around for a bit, then pointed at a fat pig with large tusks protruding out its face. It also had a short, stubby, elephant-like tusk, “That thing.”
Ruby aimed at the pig and closed one of her eyes, pressing onto the trigger and letting an arrow loose. It hit the pig and it let out a squeal, fleeing and letting its little legs take it away. The three began to chase.
As they followed the pig deeper into the forest, Sunny pelted the pig’s legs with rocks, slowing it down, and allowing Paige to run after it faster. As Paige approached the pig, she jumped forward and wrapped her arms around it, trapping it. It squirmed, trying to get free, but Paige was stronger than it seemed. As Paige wrestled with it, she wrapped her legs around its body and took her club out, raising it in the air and slamming it into the pig’s skull, crushing and killing it instantaneously.

Chapter 36: Soon to be Scouting
Part 1/2
“Hey, I see them over there!” Ruby said, pointing at a trio of girls making their way back to the obelisk. Sunny’s orange hair seemed to act like a light within the dark of the night. Stream, controlled by the reigns of Sunny, trotted over meekly as Aurora and Paige approached from behind.
Skyler walked up to Sunny with a bright smile, the green beam’s light that poured from the obelisk reflecting onto Skyler’s face.
“I’m glad you made it back safely, Sunny-”
Sunny pushed past Skyler and to Samuel, who looked at her with soft eyes.
“So, what’s your genius plan on finding Tiffany?” Sunny asked, stopping and crossing her arms. Samuel felt a wave of warmth flow down his cold body, Sunny’s hair flickering like flames.
“Heat manipulation?” Samuel thought to himself, “I don’t see how that’s helpful.”
“We’re going to scout and look as far out as we can,” Samuel explained, looking out onto the horizon. He could barely see giant sequoia trees poking out.
“It shouldn’t be too hard. If her little book gives her enough knowledge, then she’ll be far better off than the others, right?”
“Not a bad idea, right?” Paige added on, glaring at Skyler, “I don’t think it’ll get anyone here hurt.”
“I’m sure it won’t,” Sunny replied, her head tilting back and her eyes darting back.
“Okay, but like, how we gonna do that?” Rick asked, tapping his book on his leg.
“Simple enough,” Samuel responded, looking up at the night sky, “I saw some weird bird thing flying in the sky. It looked really fast from down here. And it seemed large enough to fit at least one person.”
“Pteranodons?” Neddy said, “Hey, those are my favorite dinosaurs!”
“They’re not dinosaurs though,” Ruby spoke up.
“Huh?”
“They’re flying reptiles, not dinosaurs. Completely different,” Ruby argued.
“They ARE dinosaurs!” Neddy sneered, “They lived way back in the past, looked really scary, and were reptiles, just like you said! Dinosaurs!”
“Are not!”
“Are too!”
“Okay, shut up,” Aurora snapped, an annoyed look on her face. Rick looked back and forth between the two of them and looked like he had something to say about the matter.
Aurora sighed, “Do continue Samuel.”
“So… I was thinking we should tame at least one. We could get one on the way back,” Samuel replied.
“I like this plan a lot,” Sunny said, “Sensible and reasonable. Let’s do it.”
With Samuel’s plan set in stone, the expedition team began to make the small trek back home. But as they walked away from the metal platform, Samuel looked back and couldn’t help but feel as if the metal beam had something more to it.
And he also couldn’t help but feel like he was being watched.
To the writer of the Red River
Dude. That was a complete copy of The prologue of The Lost Heir! I’m glad to know there’s another WoF reader out there, but really? Are you actually a writer, or someone who just wanted to copy the book? Did you purposefully get River killed? To show yur true feelings about how you really wanted Webs’ story to end?
Idk, thought I’d just shout out to everyone who’s read it… its a complete copy up until the end of it.

Book 1: Convergence
Chapter 2
“You’re wanted up in the council chambers.” This came from a tall, strong man standing in the middle of the doorway to Spark’s house. He had a fairly large and bushy beard. His hair was longer, but not down to his shoulders. He had a deep voice, and he looked like he could wrestle a wolf with each hand. His full name was Eddie, though most just referred to him as Ed. His head was tilted at an angle so that he could see through the doorway, and his torso blocked most of the light coming in. Those who had never seen him would fear for their life, but those who knew him knew he was a gentle and kind man, but was certainly a force to be reckoned with if his friends were harmed.
“What for?” Spark asked.
“Didn’t say. All I know is they seemed worried, and if it’s something they want you specifically for, then it must be serious. I can do any manual labor around the town, so this must be something a little more concerning, or at least more complex. Thinking and strategizing aren’t my specialties.”
“My arm has been reminding me of that a lot over the past few days.” Spark remarked. He and Eddie shared a chuckle.
“You’ll be fine, just keep stretching it and let it rest. Just let me know whenever you’re ready for that rematch you mentioned.” Eddie said.
“Well, I was honestly hoping it would be sooner, but if whatever the council needs is as serious as you think, it may be a little while.”
Spark and Eddie began hiking up the path of trails and bridges up to the top of the cliff. As Spark looked out over the rails, he saw the ocean, shining blue and stretching on for what seemed like forever. Next to it was the desert. It seemed to have just as much life as the ocean with its vast expanse of sand dunes that made up the majority of it. As he made a final glance at the beauty of it, something caught his eye, or as a matter of fact, something didn’t catch his eye. He hadn’t realized it before, but there were no birds flying over the waters, or fish leaping from the waves. Although they often disappeared for a while during the winter, that was not for several more months. As they reached the top of the cliff, he began to grow a little more concerned. When they arrived at the large doors which opened into the council chambers, Eddie opened them. Spark marveled at how effortlessly he moved them on their hinges. They were heavy doors, yet Eddie had no trouble with them. Spark always wondered how a man so big could move as smoothly as Eddie did.
As they entered into the room where the council sat, the head of the council, Linus, began to speak, “Spark, we are glad to have you here. We have just receive some unsettling news. One of our patrol scouts returned yesterday from his mid-day patrol in quite a state of concern. I would let him explain to you what he saw, however he is currently gone, warning the people across the island of what is to come.”
“What is coming? What did he see?” Spark asked. He tried not to sound too pushy, but it always took Linus time to get to the important things. Being a very concise and no-nonsense communicator himself, Spark had had to learn to let Linus take his time.
“He shared with us two things, the second, he believes corresponds with the first. First off, he was flying over his usual route which covers the central portion of the island. He was making his usual rounds to close out the patrol in the north, near the wyvern trench, when he saw something moving down below. When he examined closer, he found that there were people in the trench. What concerned him was that they were constructing something, as well as preparing weapons and armor.”
“This is normal,” Spark responded. “The people of that region need heavy equipment to survive.”
“Yes, but it was the number of them that concerned him. Hundreds of men were working in that trench. We do not have any record of how these people got here. Nearly the entire population lives here in Solace. The island’s population cannot of simply doubled in size overnight. What’s worse, is that the second thing he noticed was that much of the wildlife across his route was gone. They are preparing for something. They can feel it.” Spark thought back on the lack of birds and fish from earlier. The animals made sense as he had often seen them act this way in the event of something big. He could not understand how hundreds of people had shown up in the trench. “We are afraid to say it, but we must prepare for war. We will not be the ones to start it, but we cannot be caught off guard. You are the most competent person here to lead our people in battle and to prepare them for it. We trust that you can and will be able to help save us from this apparent threat.”
“Thanks you.” Spark said. “I am honored that you would choose me. When must I have them ready by?”
“We will gather the people together tonight at the meeting hall to let them know. After then, as soon as possible.” Spark nodded as he turned and walked out. If he was going to build and lead an army, he was going to have to split up command. He could certainly not lead everyone himself. Fortunately, he knew exactly who he could trust with the task.
On rag I sat underwater for an hour and a half taming an angler with raw meat and narcoberries, later I went to shore and looked in tribelog and it said that it had auto decayed. Probably my least favourite tame to get!😭 When you are taming them make sure to be near it once it wakes up.
The promised land chapter 9 Nic’s POV:
Nic awoke to a scratching on his door. A single compy came into his room. It looked up at him as if it was awaiting orders. Nic questioned why it came to his room. It jumped on the foot of his bed. It tilted its head. Nic was tired and didn’t know what to do he just told the compy to leave. To his surprise it listened it jumped off his bed and walked out the door. Nic jumped out of bed and followed the small dino until it jumped out the window.
“Go bring me an energy brew.” Nic told the compy. It walked back inside to the preserving bin took an energy brew and brought it to Nic. Nic didn’t know if this was a coincidence or if he could control the dino. There was only one way to test. Nic held out a piece of meat In his hand and told the compy “Don’t eat it.” The greedy little scavenger listened it didn’t touch the meat. Nic told the creature to leave and go back to normal. The compy immediately obeyed it ran out the gate and went toward the nearest corpse.
Nic went back to sleep. Nic woke up early . He drank his energy brew and made himself some breakfast. Amy walked into the room and asked “You ready for training?”
“I guess.” Nic said. They walked outside. Nic picked up his pike and Amy grabbed her sword. “You ready?”
“Yeah.” She ran toward Nic and sliced at his chest. He ducked under her blade and thrust his pike forward hitting her leg. She fell.
“1 to 0.” Nic said. Just then James burst through the forest trees and rocks being smashed behind him..
Alright let me just go ahead and put in my opinions here. Dododex is nice and so is the community but some of the community is toxic. Like telling people to “commit” toxic. Come on don’t tell someone to kill themselves. I don’t care if they annoy you. Just let them do it and ignore them don’t tell them to kill themselves. Also if you use dyes to communicate cool at least people aren’t using dinos who cares. What tips do you need on dyes anyway there’s already a recipe? (That’s an actual question I have)

Riker gathered the amber she had, exactly 7. She could tell she needed at least 16. She gathered stones for hours, getting only one more amber. It was going to take awhile to bring her wolf back. She knew some people who where giving out amber to others for doing simple tasks, they called themselves “The Daily Pursuiters” she decided to pay them a visit. Maybe they had forgotten what happened during her last visit...?
