Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a achatina? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a achatina.
The achatina is obviously a slug with a sea shell on it. Wonder who found fossils of this cursed thing..
It eats veggie cakes, and fyi I don’t know how to make them. It has a high topier drain (comes conscious quickly) so watch out.
The mainly spawn in swampy areas alot the coasts (from what I’ve seen) and is a decent source of citchin.
They also somehow eat stones? Yeah idk.. Put a thousand stones it it’s inventory and set it to wander, trap it in a box and drowned it.

This is my first instructions list from a-y so please follow along in the next tutorial!
Just tame it. It takes 4 days to raise, you'll raise an 2 allos in that time.
They are found in the swamp and love nothing more than cake. Capable of producing Achatina paste (alternative to cementing paste) and organic polymer . Once set to wandering, will produce and store a max of 100 paste. They also defecate CP.
While taming, after eating a cake, the bar will read "place food in inventory to tame" even though you have cakes there. Also, the torpor score goes up quickly from feeding narcs, different from other tames
How to tame snail
Step 1: enslave Bary and grow lots of crops while forcing your dinos to shit
Step 2:suck tree dry for sap
Step 3:google veggie cake recipe and cry
Step 4:make cake and question how snails survive in the wild
Step 5: shoot snail in face with drugs
Step 6: protect snail from every single dino ever
Step 7: cryo snail and throw in cage and not feed for 20 years
Step 8: name it cement mixer/sloppy
Before taming, save up a lot of sap, giant bee honey and crops for making Sweet Vegetable Cakes.
You can find achatina in and around the swamp, also in redwoods if you want to be jumped by a thylacoleo
If you can’t find many in the swamp the artifact of the immune cave spawns at least three
Why is it so cute oh my god I love it

If you can’t get veggie cakes, lock the snail in your base it will still produce the paste very slowly, but not polymer.
They get organic polymer if you let them get full of cementing paste
Slow can club then make flyer pick up and take to base
When taming an achatina try to get them in a safe place. Once that's done you should shoot it in the head with tranq darts/arrows as the shell does less torpor. Then feed it sweet vegetable cakes and BOOM your very own achatina!
Get a gacha with sap and feed it rocks to make the cake
The eating delay only creates an issue when trying to starve tame. If you put the cakes in right away, it eats them slowly enough that the countdown will run out before it is hungry again, and you won't need extra.
If you want to tame one first pick it up from the ground with a bird and bring him away from swamp then crossbow how or dart him in the head wait 5 seconds then redo then ONLY feed veggie cake beware of comment who said a lie
This snail gives cementing paste and organic polymer.u need to put on the wandering.U need cake to tame it.there is a bug also.first give some berries.after put the cake.the important thing is they will only eat cake after the tame also
How to tame these things(mobile version):
1. You will need tree sap taps for sap(atleast 100 sap is required)
2. Place the beehive on redwood trees and put rare flower in it (it will take a lot of time to make honey).
3. After you get around 10-12 honey make some sweet vegetable cakes in a cooking pot.
4. Then after you make the veggie cakes, knock out an achatina using tranq arrows(don't use compund bow his health is low so it will die) and then put the cakes in its inventory.
There is a glitch that after eating one cake it will stop eating but dont worry it will eat after some time.
BOOM! You have tamed an achatina, they produce organic polymer and cementing paste when kept in wandering unlimited hard polymer supply.
They eat Sweet Vegetable Cakes and you need to tranq them down with darts preferably. Aim for the soft part of the Achatina and not the shell part. Shooting its shell will take more darts to take down.
How can a snail eat veggie cakes in the wild tho...
