Stories Tips

What are some stories about the achatina? Memorable achatina stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
Good evening ladies and gentlemen to tonight’s news broadcast across the Ark community.
Nothing greatly official from Wildcard themselves besides the Eggcellent Adventures. However, the modding community has been busy!!
Starting off with the biggest and only news worth covering so far!!
Garuga123 is officially employed by Studio Wildcard as their newest creature designer!!! But what does this mean? Well going onto the rest of the content.
Deinocheirus, Suchomimus, and Velociraptor are now coming to official instead of being modded. With no additional mods for them!!! This might become the case for Cryo and Conca as well but he is unsure. They are still coming to official either way though!!! That adds to the roster of creatures being added as 13 new dinosaurs.
He is officially working on the Megaraptor design as his very first Wildcard requested project.
Garuga will continue making mods, leaving his fantasy creatures as modded creatures rather than official. Yay, Garugopteryx and I think Nyctoraptor are still in the works!!!
Garuga is currently deciding whether variants will be official content or just modded skin packs.
There will be no more premium mods added to his roster of mods, Anomalo and Edmontonia will be his only premiums added.
Sponsored content like his Titanoceratops, Shantungosaurus, Gorgosaurus, and Livyatan are for the time staying as modded creatures. But they may become official if they become fully funded and if he decides he wants to.
Savage Acro is undecided for the time being if he is doing it.
Hey guys.
My parents say I can’t write fan fiction or talk to people on here anymore.
So this is my last message.
My parents want me off, so I can’t even finish my story.
Someone else has to.
Ben, maybe you could finish my story. You did good on TAOH.
Maybe you can finish for me.
Bye, everyone. I hope you all have fun writing.

Aight, now it’s time to actually…y’know, write ToS.
THE TRIBE OF SHADOWS:
PROLOGUE, PART ONE:
Dilath Solan, of an independent Asretorri village known as Wynock, wandered along the banks of the River Thal, bow in hand. He was roughly two miles from Wynock, but could smell cooked Saberfish and Stegosaurus even from here. He was searching for a Dilophosaurus to bring back, to bring back its scales and venom. His breath slowed as he reached for an arrow from the quiver at his belt, his bow creaking slightly as he nocked it. Dilath stepped forward, hearing a soft, distinctive hiss as he did so. He drew the string back and shot, a thrum cutting through the air, and then a thud as a sharp stone arrowhead pierced a Dilophosaur’s neck, dropping it in a single shot. Dilath grabbed the dead beast’s neck, sliding the bone hunting knife from a loop in his belt and roughly stabbing the Dilophosaur in the chest, dragging the knife down and cutting out its organs before cutting off its scales in long, wide strips. He slit off the goat-sized animal’s crests, putting them, and a few lines of scales, in the pouch on his belt. Dilath then cut out some of the better-tasting meat from the Dilophosaur’s spine, putting it in a larger pouch.
And then he smelled the smoke.
Not cooking-fire smoke.
Charred wood and…flesh.
He bolted back to his village as fast as possible, sliding his bow onto his shoulder, his legs starting to burn after the first mild and a half. He heard gunfire, now. Bursts of light from Holy Tek rifles, the heavy thuds of Longneck rifles and cracks of double-barrels. As he came closer, the thud of boots.
Wynock was ablaze. Dilath heard screams.
And then he didn’t. That was worse, so much worse. He ducked into an area full of dense trees, every part of him shaking. The rip of Tek guns, the roar of a flamethrower, so much smoke. Charred stone. Burnt wood. Scorched flesh.
Dilath did the only reasonable thing, at least by his standards.
He ran like mad.
Ran, into the woods, the dark woods.
Ran, from the fire, the scorching fire.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen of the Achatina community. This is your Ark News!!!
Let’s start off with the ever inevitable delays. As most of you probably know. Ragnarok’s release along with the prepackage release of Lost Colony have been delayed until June 18th. With the main contribution to this being the UE5.5 update being delayed to June 2nd, the tenth anniversary of Ark. and while this is a sad event to happen. There is some new stuff we know coming with these updates.
Starting off with the most important, leaks. Leaks of several thing coming to those who are purchasing the Lost Colony DLC Preorder package will be able to dabble in many of the new features coming out with Lost Colony. Including the skill tree addition, something that is said to be quite similar to Ark 2’s play style.
IcyWolf75 canon to Ark!?! Well if you don’t get the reference. Don’t worry, neither do I… but the important news is that leaked information from the dev kit has revealed that with the preorder package will be a new creature called the Ice Fox. We have no idea what this animal will look like or what its real name is. But we are sure that it will be a fun addition nonetheless.
Fantastic Tames anyone, well if you were hoping for one to come with Ragnarok, we have something special for you!!! If you are displeased with this… well sorry to burst your bubble. This upcoming Fantastic Beast is called the Shoulder-dragon as of now and was leaked within the Dev-kit. We have no ideas as of right now what it does or what its real name is. But most likely, it will do something quite similar to the Sinomacrops for Lost Island.
Lastly, a new pushed up engram is releasing with Ragnarok from the Genesis Part II Expansion. This being the ever wonderful Egg Incubator!!!!
Along with all of this, the ever exciting Ragnarok will bring the amazing Griffin, now being a breedable egg layer, the Bison and its brute strength and wonder milk. And finally the most important thing to ever come across our eyes in ASA… GRAY ROCK!!!!!!!!!🪨
As the light refracts through the waves, an eclipse can be formed. You see only what is blocking everything else, and your mind wants to protect that. This shadow is dark, and can leave you feeling empty and infected with depression. Sometimes, it's a lunar eclipse, and everything is bright, and you feel like an Olympian god. I want you to seize the terror that you feel and make it into your origin. Take advantage of your fear and turn it into something beautiful.

So yeah I have time to write stuff :)
Completely redoing the Tribe of Shadows because reasons and also the plot was horrifyingly bad and also half-inspired by my older cousin
The Tribe of Shadows (Remake Because Reasons)
New Lore:
This redux of ToS takes place on a rogue Ark somewhat further from the sun than the normal ones. Its map is split into five regions:
Kelrossa, a large, mountainous, spruce-covered island covered with ruins from old civilizations, most notably a blackstone city carved into a crater, and multiple forts. The people of Kelrossa are quite advanced, due to easy access to gunpowder and metals. It is rumored that the Kerenalt Federation even has access to Holy Tek. One of the great Pillars, this one blue, is found on Keleossa. The Kerenalt Federation deploys Yutyrannus and Dire Wolves as their cavalry.
Asretorr, a roughly central plains region with multiple feuding tribes locked in wars of attrition who trade for supplies from the Kelrossites to fuel their armies. The Kelrossites get valuable grain and meat that they struggle to grow in their harsh climate, the Asretorri get gunpowder and metal for weaponry. The Asertorr’s preferred mounts are Equus and Raptors.
Iortor, a swamp taking up most of the west of the island, filled with horrendous creatures. There are rumors of beasts that speak like men. They are not confirmed, but Overseer save you if you hear a voice in the night. The Iortormen are a superstitious, scavenging folk, other than those of Clan Torvett, who reject all superstition and even the Overseer. The Iortormen favor Baryonyx and Pteranadons.
Teyra, a harsh cold-desert to the far south, split from Iortor by a chain of mountains. It is inhabited by wyverns and other strange beasts, and is home to one of the great Pillars, this one a stark red. The Teyrans are nomads, often raiders, and favor the Allosaurus as a mount, though it varies by clan and tribe. Teyra, alongside its wyverns, is home to the largest known stockpile of Holy Tek, near the Isle of Jadyr. The Jadyrwa are fiercely protective of their Tek, and advanced enough to hold off most attacks. The favored beasts of the Jadyrwa are Equus and Gallimimus.
Shynarm, a thick, partially snowy forest home to the great Pillar that shines an emerald green, full of incredibly strange beasts touched by The Element. The Shynarmmen are quite cultlike, worshipping Rockwell as a saint and hero. Their favored mounts are Rock Drakes and Iguanadons. The Shynarmmen are primitive, but excellent huntsmen and trackers.

Chapter one: Taken
Hidden in the darkness of night, gazing up at the moon, was a little creature.
Her green eyes stared up at the claw shaped figure, glowing blueish grey. She curled her tail around her talons as the monkeys overhead howled loudly.
“She’ll be back,” the little creature reminded herself in a quiet whisper. “She will. She has to.”
She lay her head on the ground with a tiny sigh. She glanced back up at the moon.
“I’ll be alright.”
Mischievous laughs from the forest beyond her startled her awake. She tended, listening.
“She got him REAL BAD!” Laughed a voice. “It was hilarious! For a second there it looked like he’d just die of embarrassment!”
“And the look on his FACE!” Said a second, female voice, laughing.
Firefly sank into the ferns to hide as three Raptors walked past, a few meters away. The first one was bright red with pink feathers, and had a small scar acrossed his jaw. The ssecond was the female, blue and green zigzagged all over her feathers and scales.
“He can’t just think he’s soooo special,” the third raptor said, shaking his head. Moonlight filtered through the trees onto his pale orange and grey scales.
The female suddenly burst into laughter. “Yeah, I mean, remember when he was like, ‘BEHOLD! I—‘“
“Am eating a new bug,” the first one joked, and she shoved him over into the ferns.
Firefly shuddered. She’s never seen raptors in real life before. And mother told her that they were nasty killers.
The first two raptors pounced onto one another, laughing happily. Firefly peaked through the leaves and saw that they were smiling, and didn’t look like they…would really…
“Quiet down you two,” the third hissed. “There could be other carnivores anywhere.”
“Right, in the, uh, middle of the night?” The first asked skeptically. They walked forward some more, farther and farther away from Firefly.
But then the third raptor jerked his head up in her direction. She froze, and he sniffed the air. He shushed the other two, and they stiffened with confused expressions, listening.
He stomped over to her hiding spot, hissing under his breath. His eyes narrowed, and he swiveled his head her way. Firefly squeaked and reared back, her eyes wide.
The orange raptor leapt into the air and landed right behind Firefly to pin her down with his talons. “We’ll looky here,” he growled. The two raptors hurried over to see, and exchanged glances.
“A Carnotaur,” the first raptor hissed, sounding bored. “So what, Burr?”
“Whatcha doing alone squirt?” The second asked, baring her teeth. The third raptor—Burr, apparently— lifted her up by the tail, and Firefly curled up as much as she could, slamming her eyes shut.
“Answer!”
“maybe she’s a stowaway,” the second suggested. “ or she can’t speak yet. Hey, little Carno. I’m Streak. Can you talk?”
“Only one way to find out,” Burr said. “We’re takin her with us, alright?”
They shuffled in the underbrush, but didn’t disagree. “OK then. Let’s go.” Burr hissed.
And they took Firefly, to afraid to speak, to wherever they were taking her.
she just had to find out where.
Okay Rockdrake Lover. I am here to clarify that Megaraptor is not a Raptor at all!!!! Same technically is the same for Oviraptor and Gigantoraptor. The raptor you are referring to specifically is Dromaosauridae. Which only would pertain Utahraptor and Deinonychus. While Gigantoraptor and Oviraptor are in the same Clade, it isn’t apart of the smaller clade Dromaosauridae shares with Troodontids and avians. Megaraptor and the Megaraptorians are not even apart of the same clade as either. It’s actually more related to Basil Tyrannosaurs in the Tyrannosauroidea superfamily than with raptors.
So no, I do not think we have enough raptors and we need more. Same goes for the other two.

Forest of Light’s prologue was amazing and somehow refreshing too. I loved that the POV was by a “narrator” who was spying on someone, and loved the world building and acting of other creatures so far, since it’s almost exactly how I like to imagine creature POV’s. Our narrator is truly a character, I can’t wait to see more of him. And Kinoke too!!! I need to know more and see how this great story will go!

Nexus, I don’t know if you are aware of this, but authors of posts can be looked at to see what other posts they have made on the site while using Google/Safari/etc.. This makes it more difficult to “fake” having an imposter, or easy to distinguish yourself from an imposter. In other words, either someone in your family is using the account, or you were both and that you have a change of heart about the rebellion you were leading. But don’t try to fake having a imposter. If you don’t believe me, check the tips in your tip section. It will show you.
Until Next Time!!!

Fwoom!
The redwoods in flames, burning to almost a crisp. Giant quetzals with platform saddles dumping thousands of gallons of water on the fires. Trees falling, terror birds running in... terror?
Diplos and dire bears knocking over burnt trees. More and more firefighting quetzals dropping lakes worth of water on the redwoods.
AGH!!
David woke up in fear, jumping outside his wooden hut
Looking to see if anything was outside. His tames where ok. Nothing on fire.
Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen of Achatina, welcome to tonight’s News across the Ark community.
Tonight, we have officially got our first shot of the Giant Bison. So sit back, adjust your XXXXL pants, and grab your guitar. Because June 2nd will be a doozy as the yodeling cattle rustlers will be out in full force.
While not much is known about the abilities or utilities of the Bison. Its class of use has been teased as a bruiser. Giving us another of our few PvP herbivore damage dealer. Being called a “A heavyweight champion of head butting and highland havoc.” and teasing to a PVE side with “Also packing some surprisingly nourishing qualities for those wise enough to keep it close.”. This surprise reveal mammal has been shown to rival the size of a Wholly Rhino from the teasing CG image. By all accounts of WildCard, the Giant Bison is a welcomed surprise to the release of Ragnarok this June 2nd.
While no news of the UE 5.5 upgrade. This news of the Ragnarok release has stayed the same since their last roadmap. This would give some potential implications that the release date for the UE 5.5 is still the same and that we will see it within the next three weeks.
This has been your most recent coverage of News Across The Arks for Achatina. Goodnight folks.
