Good evening ladies and gentlemen of Achatina, this is your weekly update news of the Ark community.

Starting off with last night, Wildcard released several trailers and teasers for upcoming releases and a special video.

Vampires, Eternal Nights, and Transylvania. No this is not a new game for Dracula hunting. This is Ark: Lost Colony. The location you seek the elusive Lore piece known as Arat Prime, the last hope and sanctuary for humanity. But what happened to this anti-evolution nation to cause humanity to become more Man-Bats than Man? Tune in later for more in depth information and analysis.

BREAKING NEWS!!! Helena Walker still Human? Although sources are not yet sure of this. Many believe they have sighted a Helena Walker at the teaser of Lost Colony. But what could this be? Original, Clone, or Over Excited Fan. Tune in later for more.

Lastly the mixed reviewed strange version of the Ark Lore part has been teased in this night with Russell Crowe’s character have a full monologue throughout it. Will this second half of the first season be a better for telling of the Lore or will it mess up once again and be it’s own story? Tune in June for an Update on this story.

Hey PrimalApex it's been a while I found a new favorite Mods Zytharian Critters, Ancient Dragons and Wyverns, and Wyvern World. It was hilarious the other day I was sailing with my Raft base and I accidentally hit the barrier and my Pearl Wyvern fell of and I had to dive to get it and I was afraid that a Giant Sea Snake from Zytharian Critters was going to pop out of no where luckily nothing attacked us. Currently I'm at my dad's base he cut my hair for a S+ Nanny my plains are too check too see if their are some nice plains. And another funny story is we have it too where wild fertilized eggs spawn I was flying down the mountain side on Ptredon and I saw a Huge nest I'm like what left that so I flew closer to find out it was Carcharodontosaurus egg. I looked saw no Parents took the egg and flew away just in case. I hatched the egg and her name is Now Great Apex

We have read all three of your stories (Valguero’s Guardian, Creatures of Nightmares, and Journey Through All Creatures respectively). Let us give our thoughts.

SangToareGirl, your story was pretty cool. There wasn’t much to say about it, the plot flowed well and all the like. It was simple, but then again, nothing needs to be complicated. My only gripe was the human x creature shapeshifter theme, which I found very weird. Even if the creature is sentient as a human, it’s still weird. Though I don’t think your other story will be like that.

DiploLover, Creatures of Nightmares was also really nice. I like the concept a lot, it reminds me of Moon’s The Obelisk, a long while back. I feel as if there should be an explanation/lore as to how these wolves got powers (more specifically Pax, whose time powers I assume won’t correlate with the Wings of Fire-esque thing), though I think you’ll do that when appropriate. Also an explanation as to how Astra turned into a wolf would be good too, though I think you got that as well. It seems that Astra and Pax will be the main ship, since their names are similar and Pax is even described as more handsome than Prince (sorry bro). Anyway it’s cool, my only gripe was the prophecy felt too obvious but prophecies are already difficult to write. I hope that we will see other characters besides the five prophecy wolves and Shadow, especially of other species, as it would help establish the world building and what not.

RelatingHen, your story was also fun to read. It’s a fun concept, and I think a few other writers with no names did something similar, though you’re the first to get past the first chapter. C Tribe dynamics are cool, though I wish that we could get more information on other tribes around the Island, as the world building for that still seems barren. The idea of the Ravage also sounds cool, and I have a wild guess at what Rod supposedly did to Serenity. So besides world building, in terms of feedback the only thing I’d say is to clarify who “this person” is. For example, when Terad lands in the bush, it’s described that “a person came out of the bushes”, but it’s never elaborated who it is until a few sentences later when Terad is randomly described to be crashing out, which makes the readers think, “oh so that person who got out of the bushes was Terad, I think it would be helpful to have learned that earlier.” Same thing for the person riding the Titanosaur, we were wondering who it was for like a paragraph until Rod was just thrown out there. So yeah that’s the only thing we’d say to fix is. An example to fix this is: “Someone emerged from the bushes. It was Terad.” So just say immediately afterwards who it was. Yeah that’s about it, I’ll be reading Chap 10 when it comes out. I’m guessing Terad died permanently, since he’s in C Tribe (though I’m wondering why he had only like 20 levels if he can only die once and be unable to respawn). He was annoying anyway. Also, KM says that to add more female characters, one way or another. KM finds them more interesting than dudes. That’s all, later.

I have no story but I can make a good grilled cheese

Start by getting a small but not too small pan and then set your oven to 450 degrees

Then get bread while you wait for it to heat up and cheese

Put the cheese in the middle of the bread and you need 2 bread and 1 cheese or 2 if you want extra cheesiness

Then cook it for 10 or 15 minutes and flip it every 5 minutes but I recommend 10 minutes then it should be done then cut it and boom and if it tastes bad I’m sorry but when I do it it is the best just keep trying to figure out how to cook

Rockdrake Lover, that’s awesome!!!!! Will it be cross platform? If so I’ll definitely try it!!! What will it add?

Also one word, Deinosuchus. It’s the new powerhouse!!!!

Wyvernian, I loved the new chapter!!!!!! It’s so good!!!!

Chapter one- loss and recovery

It was far past sundown and the midnight was cold and the eerie silence was only broken every so often with a howl from the dire wolves in the redwoods by the riverside, a jeraboa couple were walking along the sand crunching beneath there feet “stay close” whispered a large black male jeraboa: Kate “and stay quiet.” He added he well knew the dangers of the redwood.. especially at night, darkness enveloped them as they entered a dark den between a tree and the river, “we should have stayed in the dessert” growled maisy: a small tan female jeraboa “we weren’t safe safe there.. the if the land dragon’s wouldn’t get us the death worm would.” He said glaring at maisy. “It wasn’t my fault.” She whispered trying not to make eye contact she knew it was.

Break-It, we hope so!!! Me and Wyvernian are working hard making these designs pretty hard so we hope ppl will give us a chance!!

And no, I don’t think so. I think everyone’s busy though with school/college, work, or life. The only one doesn’t come around anymore and chat dex-wise is Wyvernian. But that’s because he doesn’t like the wait between viewing responses. He’s still pretty active though otherwise.

Out of everyone else, Moon’s having family stuff happening (nothing serious, just busyness). Ben’s going through College and that type of stuff. Sunny and MGG I think trying to get back into the regular, but are busy. And everyone else is doing school. So yeah, and the reason why I’m so active is because I am not in school, not yet in college, and not dealing with too much, so I’m still pretty free on my time even with work. So I’m around pretty often!!

Anywho, that’s all I have right now!!! I’m gonna try and finally catch up on ppls stories after eons of saying I would.

Today We Rise

Chapter 1 -

I sat up and looked around. There I was, sitting on the beach in nothing but my underwear and… what is that? I looked at my arm to see a strange diamond shaped thing. I scratched it, it was so itchy. I carefully stood up, my joints felt stiff and numb. After struggling to my feet I pressed the strange diamond. It began to glow a pearlescent blue color, scrolling through the menu in front of me I learned that my name is Lexi. Being that I was completely alone, I couldn’t help feeling happy. I'm not the kind of person that requires attention.

(3 Hours Later…)

I’ve noticed that there are strange things wandering around here on this sandy beach. They are large and scaly, well not all of them. Maybe I should attempt to tame something? I don’t know anymore. This cute little bird-like thing might be a nice companion, they don't seem very bright though. One of them ate a rock… still they could be a very good source of… I don’t know… protection? I walked casually to a bush and began collecting berries to feed it, assuming it eats berries… Running up to the bird I realized that I don't know how to tame one of these beautiful creatures. Whatever… I ran to the bird and held out my berries. The bird watched me for a second before greedily gobbling up the sweet fruits. It licked it's beak and waited. After staring at the bird for 10 minutes I finally realized it had wanted more food. God am I stupid, I now understand why I am choosing this creature as a friend. It will be nice to have something dumber than me around. I fed that stupid little bird for a while before the thing on my wrist began to glow that blue color again. This time a bubble that read “Name Your Dinosaur” popped up with a little rectangle.

I looked at the bird, “How does this thing work?” I asked her. She tilted her head.

“Alright guess i'm figuring this out by myself then,” I grumbled. I thought for a long moment.

“I'll name you… Chicken,” I smiled proudly. The rectangle began to fill with the word “Chicken” before disappearing.

“What the…?” I didn’t have time, a green blob hit Chicken, knocking her off of her feet. She squawked and flapped her wings widely.

“HOLD ON!” I shouted, grabbing the bird and running away from our attacker.

Break-It, we did pretty well!!! Not amazing, but we stayed in the top thirty for one and the top fifty for the other design!!! And I understand, a lot of people are like that. We plan on continuing doing these for the next few creature votes!!! Hopefully we’ll make the top ten soon!!!
