Fun Fact of Arks Over Heaven: Samuel does not have a favorite color, favorite food, or favorite anything. Neddy’s favorite color is green and his favorite food is Udon noodles. Ruby’s favorite color is red and her favorite food is bacon. Aurora’s favorite color is blue and her favorite food is lasagna. Ben’s favorite color is monochrome and his favorite food is tacos.
SunnyFox, I’d say you’re a good detective, so don’t say that about yourself! You did manage to find out who- whoops, almost said something there. But I CANT say it because that would spoil the fun. Yet. But I guess I’m close, right? Aragorn does mean noble valor after all. That sounds pretty noble to me. Well I’m almost there, that’s all that matters.
Wyvernian Chapter 27 of PoP located in Eurypterid was a lot of fun to read, it was fun seeing everyone unite to defeat the Magmasaurs! It’s nice that Bones is doing well, however the Wanderer makes me curious… Is it even a human, what if it’s Salizar? Eh, probably not. Also the Magmasaur Matriarch sounds like a kick-butt type of villain. I bet she would wipe the floor with the Ice Wyvern easily. And the war buckets to use water to defeat the Magmasaurs was a really smart idea. However, I think you may have misspelled disturbers… unless that’s intentional.
SunnyFox, jeez so much happened in Chapter 27 and 28 that I don’t know what to say!
Actually, nevermind, I do know what to say, I’m just so speechless! First of all Cole, WHY are you trying to propose to her come on like you’ve known her for a while but you haven’t even DTF yet! (determine the relationship). Like y’all haven’t even kissed yet… And did you not even notice Arianna’s tears? How DARE you. Well. Sorry old pal, I think you just need to be more situationally aware.
Also I can’t believe Irene got hit with a stroke! It cannot be. Poor Arianna is losing so many people!
Chapter 28… man it’s so sweet how both James and Arianna are thinking about each other. Also what is Tom trying to ask Leah? 😳 Also a dog barking just reminded me what happened to Bella the dog? Who is taking care of her? Also the kiss scene was cool, but definitely not as good as Tom and Leah’s. Now I’m no genius when it comes to kiss scenes, but I think there either needs to be A. a build up, or B. intensity that is unrivaled.
For example, here’s how I’d write this scene: “Well, we convinced our parents to let us visit one last time. After all… There was a really special girl I met,” James said. A bright smile began to grow on Arianna’s face, one she couldn’t contain, no matter how hard she tried, “Oh James… I love you!”
The moment was unbearable, as time seemed to slow to a halt, the two stared at each other’s lips, until finally, they leaned together at the same time…
And then it was happening. The two closed eyes and began to kiss like it was no tomorrow. Arianna’s heart hammered against her chest, a rosy red rising through her face as she felt herself clasping the back of James’ head. The moment felt so forever, but not foreign. And Arianna craved it with all her heart.
James waited for Arianna to pull away, but once she did, James wanted to show her something…
That’s just one example. You don’t have to go THAT crazy, but it just felt a lot more anticlimatic compared to the other. This is supposed to be the big moment, so make it big!
Or not. It doesn’t really matter.
Where was I? OH NAH. Shadow Phoenix is the name of the kingdom James and Tom’s parents rule, okay okay that makes sense. I guess I didn’t think of something like that, I thought it’d be some crazy secret organization or something. Also zamn James just beat Cole to it huh?
Also James’ power is not just using his shadow, but controlling others? That’s super powerful if used correctly. That’s like seven billion shadows on the whim. Well maybe not that many, this is after Arks.
Also the medallions cause people to live long amounts of time? Hmm. I wonder how much time passed from TTOTSP and TTDOT. Years, decades, centuries?
And looking back at this now… Will COLE have something to do with Tom’s transformation?
We are nearing Chapter 30 of TTOTSP. That was pretty much the amount of chapters TTDOT has, so I think it’s safe to say the climax is reaching… James seems to be with Arianna now and what else left is there?
Fun things to talk about. Well on the flip side! And I guess I’m going to work on Chapter 29… Oh man this one is going to be so much fun to make!

A clue huh?
So the first clue is from the song The Hanging Tree, but one thing I notice is that the words MAN and THREE are capitalized. At first this clue didnt make sense, but the second one gave it away.
This shadowy figure is obviously referring to the one in the Epilogue. The meaning of his name is the reason why he came probably means his name refers to something vengeance related as he has redemption plans. Fading daylight because it was turning night by the time the British were done with their assault. His fame is low, which probably means not many people know him. And three men with hearts of black probably means the mayors (Michael's heart filled with blackness after Andrew proposed).
So the second clue confirms the first clue is talking about the same person. This gives us a lot of info about the shadowy figure.
Facts we know about the shadowy figure:
- He is a man
- His name is related to justice or revenge
- Not many people know him
- Those who oppose him will be shown no mercy
- He knows who the mayors are, and somehow also knows where the bunkers are which means hes good at following people undetected
- He may be hanged because the first hint suggests so, the tree could mean... Wait a minute, The Hanging Tree, hanging stands...
And the figure is shadowy and Aragorn's shadow disappeared recently...

Nyeh! Just my luck! As soon as I post my message Chapter 23 of Shadow Phoenix and Chapter 12 of Overseer release! Well that doesn’t matter! As payback, I have released Chapter 28 of The Arks: Over Heaven in Desert Titan. Take that! (oh yeah Chapter 27 is also already out in Desmodus lol. Just in case someone didn’t notice).
Sandmaster, Chapter 12 was a lot of fun to read! The Glowtail that Fuzzball decides to keep as a friend is a nice little touch, although I’m wondering whether or not “Buddy” will have some special moment in a later chapter. It sounds like he will. And also I cannot believe the Mosasaurus was killed! He was so awesome! (even though he only appeared for a little while, he was a lovable goofball). What could have even killed him? Probably a Plesiosaur or something… However, I think you should elaborate what species the ship inspector and his crew is. It would be so cool!
Uhh, what else. Oh, adding a new ship in Overseer? Hmm, I wonder what type of ship. A battleship or…
Oh. OH. THAT type of ship! Well, I can’t really blame you. It’s a hard habit for me to break 😅. I’m sure you’ll do great, just be careful and try not to make it too obvious who it’s gonna be, okay? The fun is making it unpredictable! Or wholesome sweet and spicy. Either one works.
Chapter 23 and 24 were very very interesting to read SunnyFox. Cole and James are just fighting over Arianna… except Cole isn’t really fighting and he’s doing absolutely nothing and… Cole this ISNT GONNA WORK OUT!!! Come on drop it and just go out with Toe Crusher- I mean Tabitha or something it doesn’t have to BE this way. I mean you decided to go with her! That’s a start, right? There’s more to her than toe crushing I’m sure! And don’t deny the feeling James… otherwise you’re gonna regret it!
And zamn Chapter 24 was crazy, love is like, everywhere in my eyes. I really feel bad for Arianna, I really do. She def doesn’t like Cole, but feels forced to go out with him because he’s her friend and she doesn’t want to hurt his feelings. You don’t have to worry Arianna, he isn’t going to do anything crazy to you! I think. Also woo hoo James for the win! Doing the classical give her his jacket trick to keep her warm and cozy! And man… “sadness filled her heart but she didn’t know why.”
Samuel says, “It’s because you’re spending time with the wrong man! In situations like these, don’t deny your heart!”
Oh, and James left his jacket 😏. I bet you a romantic scene in Arks Over Heaven that Arianna is going to go to James to return it or James is going to go to Arianna to get it back (I guess I’m going to have to write a romantic scene).
Ah. That was fun to read. Well thanks for the treat Sandmaster and Sunnyfox! And before I leave, I have one more question for you. What’s your favorite ‘romance’ between two characters in the stories you’ve read so far? And specifically for Sunny and others who’ve written romance, which was your favorite one to write? I’ll answer my question in a follow up message tomorrow.

SunnyFox, I’m actually kinda happy that Arianna gave James piano lessons in chapter 23 cause I didn’t tell you guys about this but I’m a pianist. And yes I’ve been to recitals and competition. Also chapter 24 was good as well. I wonder when will Arianna confess that she like Cole as a freind but not as much as Cole likes her. Anyways can’t wait for chapter 25. Also released chapter 12 of Overseer in Plesiosaur.

Fun Fact of Arks Over Heaven: Ben’s friends in Chapter 20.5 (John, Carlos, Ian, Paul) along with some of the law enforcement in Chapter 26 (Warren, Darren, Sam) were characters in this other Ark story that I had written. They had (mostly) vastly different roles and Sam was even a guy! Hmm, maybe I’ll show you that old story after I’m done with Arks: Over Heaven. Although it’s a lot more boring and not as well written compared to the others, considering I wrote it in I think 2020 or 2021.
Sunny well we make mistakes, yk I always post the chapters in the wrong dinosaur! And I read the real Chapter 22, James is a really good teacher, huh? Well there’s not much else to say since nothing really happened in Chapter 22, but I’m sure something will soon! Besides i get it, you have to work on that collab.
Moon thanks so much for saying that, you’re a very kind writer and it’s cool you interact with your fans, so we appreciate that! I can’t wait to see what the next chapters of Obelisk have planned, considering they’re going into the caverns, I’m wondering if we’ll meet Forest’s family again or even that dodo bird that kickstarted Forest’s journey. I think it’d be fun if we saw that dodo again.
SandMaster, nice that you’re going to release Chapter 12 in Plesiosaur, but I don’t see the chapter yet, have you not released it yet? Well I’ll be waiting. And I bet Plesiosaurs have something to do with this chapter!

Wyvernian, I managed to read Chapters 24 - 26 and I enjoyed reading their journey! Poor Bones, who can no longer see from two eyes, and how brave Nash is for avenging Skyla’s (presumed) death. I’d be impressed too considering a Rhyniognatha is like a hundred times his size! And Ping’s squad of penguins was really fun to watch go through all those shenanigans.
It was fun to talk. Well im off to work on Chapter 28! The faster I work the faster I get to the spicy juicy awesome stuff!
Moon, I’m glad to find another Marvel fan! Ive watched most of the marvel movies, my favorite is probably Black Widow. My favorite characters are probably Natasha Romanoff, Yelena, Belova, and my favorite villain is probably Loki. Btw I have a marvel joke for u.
