Heller everyone!!! (A note to new comers, you might gloss through my post or some others as we do like to address everyone individually sometimes) Sorry for the terrible lurkingness I have been doing. I’ve been working and trying to write when I’m not doing other things. But also, just forgetting and playing games or reading books (just finished the first three volumes of the warrior cats graphic novels, going to definitely be reading the next three too!!!). But I am caught up on what all has happened. Lemme just address everything though.

First of all, I haven’t said hello to all of the new faces, maybe I have to a couple of you. But, it’s been a while, sorry, lol!!! Greetings and Salutations BoXXy, SomeGamerGuy, and Valguero Girl!!!!! Welcome to Achatina!!!! I do apologize for not doing this sooner. I kept meaning to all these past few months but I’ve just been scattered.

BoXXy, WELCOME!!!! I read prologue, and chapters 2-4 of The Dwelling!!!! I really like it so far!!! I’m excited to see Nova’s journey on finding the artifacts and seeing what is ripping into the den!!! I can’t find Chapter I though, but I understood everything besides not seeing what happened in that chapter. I also read The Warrior Pachys (good thing I read Warrior Cats, lol!!) I really like it so far!!! But I think you might’ve spoiled something or made an error. You mention that there’s six clans, but you only named five. It’s great so far though!!!! I can’t wait to see more of Redhorn, Brighthorn and the rest of the clans!!! I might suggest you read some of Moon’s stories if you really like Warrior Cats, she has a story she’s writing called Clans and it’s really good!!!!

Also saw your post on what your parents asked you. I really liked your answer that you made in that post!! It was really good!!! Also also, Congratulations on getting to level 100!!!! And that’s awesome that your dad is getting you an Xbox!!!! Congrats on that too!!!!!

Valguero Girl, I read your chapter of The Island and I really liked it!!!! I’m surprised that Sailor was able to knock out a Parasaur with one punch!!! I can’t wait to see what happens in the next chapter!!!

SomeGamerGuy, Hello and welcome!!! I too was once a viewer/reader of the stories and conversations of Achatina, look at me now, with… RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN!! THIS WILL BE YOUR FATE TOO!!!! THERE TOO LOVABLE HERE TO LEAVE YOU AS JUST A READER!!!! lol!! But I was just a reader for a long time. Also I can’t wait to see your story you’re working on!! It sounds really cool!!!! Also, I actually play a lot Grounded myself!!! It’s such an awesome game!!!!!! I really love my survival games and some of my shooters too (though I wouldn’t say I’m a big shooter fan). Mainly I play dinosaur games and such!!!

Break-It, Glad to see you back!!!! Also, don’t worry, look at me, I’ve been lurking for a couple months and now I’ve finally posted and no one’s mad at me!! (I lie to myself in lack of confidence). I can’t wait to see your story!!!!!

SpecialRaptor/Zznake, I am late to respond to this but don’t worry with what happened with you and Ben. I know he already said this, but I can tell you that there have been many miscommunications with messages and stuff like that in here. Yours is minimal compared to the war that happened when SunnyFox/Mr.GhostGamer joined Achatina. lol!! It was chaos!!!! Also, I never answered this question, but I have never played Animal Jam. Can’t wait for the next chapter of Troop The Troodon!!!!

Did I cover everything? I hope I didn’t. If I did though, please mention it, if I didn’t but you got questions, just ask!!! I’ll try to answer in a better and more timely fashion!!! Also, if you guys are looking for stories from any of the writers you see here like Moon, Ben, Sunny, MrGhostGamer, Break-It, SpecialRaptor and so on. Go to the Dododex Fanfiction Wiki on Fandom. It’s basically a Wikipedia of most of the writers who’ve written in Achatina. Cover most of their stories and where to find them and where to read them. I’m sorry to sound like an Ad here, I’m not, I’m just mentioning that if you’re looking for a story and can’t find it. There is a tool that we have to find them.

I just learned that my father is getting me an XBOX and ark ascended is actually on game pass!! My dad already has game pass and an XBOX so when we get ours I can get ASA!!!!! I play ASE rn and I completely sympathize with mobile and people who can ONLY play ASE Like I can currently, I do wish they still added things to ASE and didn’t shut down the servers but OMG YESSSSSSSSSSSS I hope all you mobile and ASE players someday get to play ASA! I’m just so happy I thought I’d share some good news! I’m so sorry if you don’t have asa and this makes you sad but I really can’t wait man!

Hey boxxy! Congrats on level 100! I know grounded isn’t for everyone, but for me it is incredibly addicting. I feel like more people should enjoy single player instead of pvp multiplayer (the stuff I have heard is vile) Anyway, I hope you the best of luck on your stories.

~the warrior pachys~ chapter 1

“Wake up redhorn, or we’re going to be late for training!”

That was brighthorn, another pachy apprentice and redhorns best friend, Redhorn growled and heaved himself up to follow brighthorn out of the cave, it was just dawn, redhorn could already see Bulkskull organizing the patrols to make sure the pachys from other clans stay out of leafclans territory, there’s six different clans in the crater, leafclan his clan lives in the forest, skyclan they live in the rocky mountains high up, rainclan lives near a river where it’s always humid and rains often, and fogclan, they live in a meadow where thick fog often drifts, and finally, spirit clan is where warriors go in death, to watch over the clans, nobody knows where pachys unworthy go, but it’s not to spirit clan.

The four clans often fight over territory, Especially in bushbare, the berry bushes start to die, and leafclan often has to resort to eating the bark of trees, it’s not enough to keep them sustained trough the entire bushbare, but it’s enough to keep them going until pachys find a bush with berry’s, or until They grow back in Greenleaf, “redhorn!” Yellowstripes voice called him from his thoughts, yellowstripe was his mentor- “redhorn!” The voice called again, “coming yellowstripe!” -BoXXy (go read the prologue if you haven’t)

Hello Dubxshrimp, I’m BoXXy! I’m not one of the famous ones, I just write dwelling’s, I’ll definitely be checking out your story! Glad to see another new face, I’m also pretty new so I can’t give a lot of advice right now… but ill be glad to read your story’s!

heya goobers I’ve been brainstorming ideas for a story I might make, so here are some if you would like to use them!

-The dinosaur called “Irritator” would be depicted as shady, for example being in back alleys, only at night, etc. The reason for this is that the irritator’s bones were actually dug up illegally by fossil dealers, so people don’t know where the irritator was located.

-The t-Rex and giga would be a big brother-little brother relationship, because one is stronger, one is weaker, but they are overall the same.

-The pegomastax could be depicted as a robber or a stealer, since it steals my goddamn mastercraft crossbow when I try to go and tame something (genuinely hate these guys)

Prime example of a dino if it was a guy, being a nice person and trying to have a good future while everyone around you are literal trash bags with a mouth and a glock-17. Thats what the achatina is, a flufball angel in the middle of a swamp trying to live while kapro's,sarcos,baryonyx's and rhyniognathas try to eat eachother alive.

BoXXy, congrats on your Xbox! I actually have the series X too! I have not been using it for ark though, mainly for other games like dredge and grounded.

The Obelisk

-Chapter one-

Forest never liked change.

Life had been perfectly normal for the first three years of his life— normal and safe. If there was such a difference.

And the rock drakes hadn’t seen a human in years.

According to mother, humans were strange, furless creatures that walked on two legs, like raptors, really. And they would run around and poke creatures with sharp sticks, which wagered they weren’t very smart, or just crazy.

Forest had never seen a human in his life. And never expected to.

Everything was ordinary, normal, and most of all, safe.

Safe from the outside creatures mother muttered on about- giant spiders; huge prey the size of whales; lions with wings. Everything.

Until that one day.

Forest was padding down the hall, searching for his older sister. She had gone invisible, they were playing hide-and-go-seek.

“Ri?” He called, scanning the rocks around him. He turned to the next cavern, squinting. “I give up.”

It did not answer. Like most of his siblings, they’d wait until you completely stopped, then would pounce and brag about their bestest you’re-never-gonna-know hiding spot. Know one risked being seen.

But the sound of a scraping tail sounded behind him— and he whirled around, only to see nothing.

Nothing except, a small dodo.

Forest screamed, surprised to hear himself yelp over a dodo. It flinched back, confused.

“You startled me,” Forest said, letting out a breath. “I’ve never seen a dodo. How did you get down here?” He stood up, and it stepped back. “It’s OK, I’m not going to hurt you.”

It turned and bolted down the halls, squawking excitedly. “Hey! Come back!” He chased after it.

It fled around the corner, up the cave, and through a small gap in the wall. He halted to a stop and squeezed through, grunting.

It’s feathered tail disappeared behind the rocks, and he poked his head through.

He was in another cave—one he’s never seen before. The dodo stared at him meaningfully, with wide, blue eyes.

“What do you want?” He asked it. It tilted its head at him, and chirped. “I’m sorry, I don’t understand dodo.”

To add, all I know from what I’ve managed to gather is that she was sick, what illness she had, I don’t know. She was twelve years old, and such a great writer.

Tina passed away in 2022, a few months before I started writing The Obelisk and most of us joined. She was a wonderful person from what I’ve seen of her posts, and I wish I could have met her.

We just now got our XBox Series X after being incredibly disappointed when uh- well I don’t wanna talk about it but anyway something happened and we learned we wouldn’t be getting that XBox we where hoping to get (was going to get but as I said before we could order something happened) but anyway we just got it hooked up and ark ASA is downloading rn, tbh we probably won’t even use the XBox for anything but ark for a good long while, we got one finally -BoXXy

I just tamed a raptor and bulbdog in my new abb world and named them BoB 1 and BoB 2 (bulb is 2 raptor is 1) and was thinking how funny a conversation would be between them;

BoB 1: “Hey bob! How ya doin?”

BoB 2: “doing good BoB”

BoB 1: “that’s good BoB”

BoB 2: “how are you BoB?”

BoB 1: “ah, doin okey BoB.”

Once my dad tamed two snails and set them to wander and they started breading like crazy till there were like a hundred of them so he started killing them because they were driving him crazy because they kept on getting stuck in big clumps and started breading like crazy lol he was killing some of them then he saw a snail with a bright green belly
