HI PD!!! ITS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU!!! I haven’t seen your post in haze yet because of how slow the dyes are to update. But the creatures are so much faster, especially with the website. I’m doing pretty good!!! Just trying to make my way through my chapters, catching up on reading all the new stories (slowly, painfully slow.), submitting creatures to the Ark submissions forum with Wyvernian, Moon and others, and playing games!!! And I think you were in here this last October with little rabbit boy, but it has felt way longer!!! ITS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK!!! Sunny has been on leave though, but from what I heard from her on the fandom. She’s doing well, just busy. MGG has been lurking so idk how he’s doing but he’s recently released some new chapters. I’m so happy to see your back!! How have you been doing? And if you have been reading my stories, thanks!! If not that’s fine too!!

That’s a good question, Sandmaster. The answer for me would be music and a love for novels. Once I hear the perfect song, the ideas typically just come to me. Reading good books in the past help with that. And it’s soundtracks that help me think of scenes and plot. Characters depend on the song, along with my own imagination. It’s really fun, and when the rare idea shows up, I only get to work if it bangs enough. The better the plot ideas, the more I love it.

Ben, My guess for the adventure packs only being accessible to buyers is that the stuff will be on the maps but you just can’t craft/tame/use(probably can use) the oasisaur is probably tamable with an engram you can’t have without the pack or just simply it’ll say “purchase the frontier adventure pack to tame this Dino” or something (depending on taming method) and that it will still spawn as it is a base game creature technically you just can’t tame unless you own the pack similarly to when newer dlcs for evolved came out somebody could go tame one for you and go to a non paid map that you can play on and give it/it’s babies to you, they might do it a bit differently because this is a different case, But if they do it like they’ve always done you can ride your tribmates oasisaur/train you just can’t craft/tame it unless you own the pack and I’m sure the packs are gonna be like a third of the price that the dlcs were originally but I mean they’ve gotta make money somehow this is way better than what they could’ve done I’m just excited that we’re gonna get 6 new creatures on top of the 11-12 voted ones and the 4 new map ones it’s crazy also the new map is probably gonna be on the other side of the planet and the storyline of it will connect extinction and genesis better because it’s the only hole in the plot they can fill (before ark 2) but I’m getting off topic.. oh, oh, also I’m pretty sure they are expanding scorched earth because they said they are adding more caves (does that mean new bosses too? or just some caves don’t have artifacts..) and with the frontier adventure packs additions (trains and oasisaur) like can the oasisaur even fit on scorched like come on the art shows three of them in the desert maybe five of those things could fit on the evolved scorched and why would we need trains with that tiny map to go around the circle of the dune sea.. anyway this got way off topic.. one more thing Ben, you said you’ve never had time to play much, I get that, you can create a solo server and when you back out it pauses (just be careful apparently you have to manually save it using commands or it deletes save data currently..) and you can mess with settings to make it less of a grind. Only problem is you can’t play with other people that way but there are servers you can find with boosted settings and if you play pve you don’t really gotta get on a lot to play.. (or you can do what I did at first and go into creative and just hacke through bosses and cheat explorer notes to learn the story 🤣🤣 but maybe that’s just me)

Goliaths story
Chapter 3
Goliath stomped through the fields, in the distance he could see a village, as he walked closer, he noticed something: a giga. Goliath snarled and moved towards the giga slowly, he snuck up behind it, it was about his size. He rammed into it, knocking it backwards, he punched it three times and it ran towards the camp. Goliath followed it, the giga smashed through the protective wall and roared furiously. Arrows shot through the air, but nothing harmed it. Goliath ran to the camp and smashed through its walls, arrows struck its hide but shattered on impact. A Boulder flew through the air and hit the giga on the head. It retaliated angrily by crushing the catapult. The two giants tore through the village, killing everyone. When the two finally began to fight, Goliath quickly pushed it to the ground, he grabbed a wooden pole and stabbed it into the gigas head. Looking up at the top of the pole, he saw a flag with the letters SPQR (hope I got that right) and a picture of a pike and longneck rifle forming a cross shape. The flag of the Red Legion.

“Keep running. Just... keep running... The enemy takes no prisoners... You can make it...” Those are the words bob keeps repeating to himself as the enemy closes in running after him. BANG! A bullet flies right over bobs head. BANG! Another hits a tree next to him. “It can’t be far now...” bob says to himself. BANG BANG! Two more bullets wizz past. Then all of a sudden the ground stops and a massive drop begins. Bob stops panting nervously flinching at every bullet he feels wizzing past him. He has to jump. The enemy is getting close now... bob closes his eyes. Three... two... one... bob leaps from the cliffface and braces for impact in the water below. SPLASH! He made it. Bob then paddles up to the surface. “There gone”... bob says as he gives a sigh of relief. On the other bank is bobs destination. Republican headquarters. Western front.
Achatina are small snails that can produce lots of Cementing Paste while it is tamed and set on Wander. It will wander around and make the Pasty substance. Unfortunately, the Achatina can only be tamed with a couple of Sweet Vegetable Cake. There may be problems with the Achatina and how it consumes the Cake, even though the Cake is still the same. The amount of Cake that the snail requires to consume may vary depending on the level of it. Normally, it should only need to consume one or two Cakes, but you can press the 'Report Data Error' button if the Cake amount varies or is off by more than three. Achatina are normally picked on by Dilophosaurs and other small predators in the swamps. Achatina may have low Health and Speed, but they have a way to protect themselves: Achatina have the ability to curl up into its shell until it is either dead or rescued. The rest of the ARK creatures will have informational paragraphs soon.
5 year anniversary!
I have been… well… not active much but I have enjoyed my time writing and I am now thinking if i should still write or not…
And i cant think any words for my turn in TOT so whoever’s next can take my turn!
So for now im going to probably just going to be enjoying my summer while staying here or at least trying
And yes I cant access fandom again so until sometime in August unless something is removed on my phone i wont be on fandom…

5 years of Dododex Fanfiction. WOW. That’s awesome. So many people came and left during this time, this community has gone through so much. But nothing could stop it, not even Silver Dye incident, and it evolved into something great.
All the stories made symbolize the community and the people who kept it going.
Moon, our founder, we would be lost without you.

“Empires fall” was a story I had in the back of my head for a while. I got the idea from a true story about a loyalist base that survived until the end of war the susesion on my server. I wanted to show the war from the loyalist perspective as the river runs red shows the republican perspective. I never really was against ether side. The republicans drafted me during the early days of the war or I was going to get raided. At the time I also did not have good relations with the loyalists. Whatever happened though, it would make a really good bunch of storys.

I saw one and I started to knock it out bc I wanted luigi the pet snail but my sister was like no let's go on adventure leave the poor snail alone and sother I did and biggest regret of my life right there alk the cemeeting paste I missed out on, now I can't find another one.

Before we begin, I want to start by saying I will leave a full review of the content and lore added behind the recent addition of Lost Colony. Anyway, back to the news.
First things first. I do want to say that the Lost Colony DLC has released!!! With over 13 new entities/creatures, and eight of those being completely tamable. Along with all new skill trees, roaming npcs, new structures and weapons, and dozens of cool skins. The new DLC for ASA has hit with a bang!!!!
In later new from January, Wildcard officially released a roadmap of new content DLC (mind you this does not include remade maps releasing, crossover content and possible Fantastic Tames coming within this time period) coming in the future of ASA. With this year’s DLCs being a revamp and hopefully redoing of Ark’s most beloved battle royale, Survival of The Fittest made and now run by Studio Sirens. The creators of Aquatica... Which should come between March and May.
Followed by Tides and Fortunes, the first of two Bob True Tales expansions which will release alongside the free DLC editions of Genesis Part I and Part II. This DLC is being looked at releasing Quarter II of 2026 (which for all will most likely spell out being released in July and/or August). This DLC will bring urge of booty stealing and da love of da sea to those who have an itch to be their inner Jack Sparrow as you command the sea as a filthy sea lubber. Or maybe even a scaly wag. As this DLC will most definitely be bringing Pirate themed adventures to the new and extremely expanded oceans of Genesis Part I.
The next DLC for 2026 will be that of a mini in game Dev Kit, which will be called World Creators. This is planned to release Quarter III of 2026. And is promised to be a way for Console and PC players to make their own maps and share them in the community mod page. So to those who fancy their world building and creator style building games. World Creators will be the DLC for you.
The last new paid DLC to be announced to release for Quarter IV of 2026 is by far the most anticipated DLC bt the community. Which is called Dragontopia. This DLC by Wildcard has promised to bring a HTTYD style of gameplay to their new dragons releasing with this map. Giving you more of a growing partnership with these animals over the instant domesticated animals we have in Ark currently. While not much has been said. Everyone has their ears perked in hopes of a HTTYD crossover with this new map.
And while this is the only officially revealed stuff for 2026. Next years content for 2027 has also been announced with Nekatus making a new map called Atlantis, the Star Wars themed DLC of Galaxy Wars: Bob’s True Tales for Genesis Part II newly expanded space biome, and a special edition of what is called Legacy of Santiago releasing at the end of 2027.
Speaking of Nekatus, Nekatus has announced his new content releasing for his largest map yet. The Greek Wonder that is Astraeos. This update which he calls his Mega Update releases thw new finished island of Pyranthos. The new desert wasteland filled to the brim with caves, new environments, and ruin. New monsters fill this land with such monsters being the Scorpian King, Scorpian Queen, the giant minotaur Minotarchos, the tamable Grand Tortugar. And the epic boss that is the Hydra. There will be so much more to unpack within the next few days. As the release of the Mega Update that is Pyranthos releases February 25th of this year.

Hey Break-It, long time no see!!!! It’s great to see you back!!!! And I gotta agree, filler stinks when trying to add it into a story. Kinda going through the same thing with my story.

Also everyone, if you haven’t already, please go to SurviveTheArks.com, go to the Creature Submission Forum, filter by Most Votes, go to the Second Page and find Tarchia and Paleopanthera and vote for them(this is a reason why I haven’t been active as of recently). Me, Wyvernian and some of the others like Moon and Ben here worked really hard on these designs and we are doing so good with this creature vote and we hope to keep on doing better this time. You will need an account on the website, but it’s really easy and noninvasive.
