Apex, that’s what I thought, i was just clarifying because I don’t remember. I definitely wasn’t trying to imply you did it without asking Moon first or anything, I’m very excited to see what you do.

Okay so moving on THE OBELISK’S EPILOGUE. The Epilogue was really heartwarming, Moon you definitely did a good job on it! Even though the group hug was cheesy, it was definitely well deserved of everyone. And Forest coming back home and reuniting with his siblings was also a bit of a tearjerker 🥲, but, hey, it’s over. No more fear in Fjordur, everyone can live peacefully. But maybe not, there’s always going to be something bad happening, right? Hopefully not, the Five must stay at peace after all they’ve been through. And finally thanks for reading my story, pretty cool how a legend within the community has read my story!
Okay so also in Chapters 15-16 of TDP SO MUCH WAS REVEALED. First of all is Cyrus afraid of his vegetables? Why else wouldn’t he eat them? HA HA that was a little funny to me Sunny but I bet there’s a bigger reason behind it. At first I was thinking it has to do with his powers, but ehhh that doesn’t make sense because otherwise Nora and William wouldn’t serve him vegetables. Also there must be a really bad wolf problem outside. Is Cyrus a werewolf? Eh, doubt it. I just randomly got that thought. Anyway, NOW THAT MAKES SENSE. So descendants of the Phoenixes can bring back memories… that certainly makes so much sense considering the climax of House of Madness. Also the Achatina reference was really cool I enjoyed that easter egg heh heh. ALSO PAUL IS ALIVE. Unless he isn’t, and Paul’s death took place after this book. NO. NO PAUL IS ALIVE. BECAUSE HE IS THE COOLEST AROUND AND THATS THAT. SO HE IS NOT DEAD. And of course he is a commander, fitting for someone as cool as him. And now looking at it, what nation does Tortuga even belong to? Is it independent or a city of another Phoenix nation? Now I’m really wondering considering it didn’t seem to follow the laws of another nation. Not only that but if Tortuga had been bombed by the British then the nation it resides in would be pretty damn mad! Well we’ll figure out soon.

Sunny asks, “Who is Tiffany and will they find her?” - A: Tiffany is one of the Originals, and a large fan of certain stories revolving a dinosaur game. And will they find her? Uh, maybe? Heh heh heh.
Sunny asks, “Why does D.T guy continuously put his son back in the games?” - A: Remember that the President (DT Guy)’s intentions of putting all the scholars on the ARK was to finish his story. So DT Guy put his son in this game because he wants to finish his story. You can assume this was done to finish the previous season, as in this alternate timeline DT Guy finished Dodo Tales Season 4, but never managed to finish Season 5.
PrimalApex asks, “How many more writers/readers do you plan on adding cameos or characters for in your story?” - A: Okay, so, I think everyone’s been introduced by now. If not, that most likely means they are already in the story, it’s just either 1. They’re not revealed who they represent or 2. You haven’t discovered who they represent. Oh, yeah, there’s ONE more writer. But he’s so obscure that you probably don’t even know him or his story. I guess I might as well spill the beans; this unnamed individual made a story known as ‘John’s Adventure’. Why did I choose this story? Because this person was the ONLY person who finished their story (or at least one season), of their story in 2022. So even though his story isn’t as long as mine or as skillfully written as mine, I respect the creator a lot for managing to finish the story. And also for giving back to the community by talking back to his singular fan (which I also respect a lot, something I see most creators fail to realize). Well enough yapping from me, next question!
PrimalApex asks “How many more parts will you be doing of TAOH?” - A: The parts of TAOH are only there for visual purposes. You will not see them on the Dex labeled as “TAOH - Part 2/Season 2”. There will be 1 more ‘part’ of TAOH, 50 more chapters, and then it’s over. At least I hope 50 more chapters. May 51 (ugh, ugly number).
PrimalApex asks “Will TAOH include other maps like Scorched Earth or Aberration or will there be a sequel/sequels or prequels to TAOH?” - A: TAOH will not include other maps of the Ark chronicles. I know, I know, VERY SAD, but there’s important reasons for that. First of all I’ve only ever played The Island on Ark, so I know literally NOTHING about the other maps other than the lore and the bosses and creatures. Secondly, it’s important to note that this doesn’t follow the exact story of Ark, which means there’s only one ARK in existence in the TAOH universe. And to answer the second part to this question, there will not be a sequel to TAOH. I know, SAD AGAIN. But I have a feeling the ending of TAOH will conclude EVERYTHING. As for prequels? Well…Originally, NO, but then there was a change of plans. After very careful consideration, the story of TAOH actually takes place after a previous story of mine which is already finished!! It’s not ARK related, unfortunately (:cry:), even if there’s a few references, but, yeah, I mean I think that answers that question. If you guys are up to reading non-ARK related stories by me, let me know.
PrimalApex asks “Is there still only one Alpha on the Island?” - A: I’m assuming this means Alpha Creature. No, there are multiple. In Chapter 10 of TAOH, the President (DTG) orders the agents to release the rest of the alphas onto the ark. So they’ve already been released as evident in the Alpha Leedsichthys they encountered in Chapter 19. Does that mean the characters will see the other Alpha creatures? Absolutely! In fact you may have already seen one already! Hidden away within the words of the story…
PrimalApex asks “Are they all in a S-” - A: They are NOT in the letter S. Jokes aside, I think I know what you’re trying to ask… but I’m not going to answer, because I may be wrong.

Does that mean they are still alive somewhere else or are they completely modified and no longer have that ability?” - It’s important to remember that not everyone has an implant: Samuel. The story doesn’t follow the exact timeline as ARK (the story takes place in 2027 if you read closely enough, and ELEMENT doesn’t seem to exist). So if you’re talking about the clone shenanigans that was revealed in Aberration, then no, there are no clones.

I’m very glad you all enjoyed Chapter 50 as much as I enjoyed making it! Ha ha ha!
Before I get to the Q&A, and before I go over any new stuff that released, I’d like to clarify some things about Chapter 50 that may have been unclear.
First of all, Maddox is not dead! Don’t worry guys. At the beginning of the chapter when Loki first confronts Mr. Ma, Mr. Ma is telling Maddox to stop resisting to make it easier for the both of them. Then Loki pulled Mr. Ma off, so Maddox is not dead. He’s just unconscious.
Second of all, Loki getting Mr. Ma’s implant attribute, may have something to do with his own unknown implant attribute 😉.

Wow, a lot of chapters released today!!
Ben, Wow!!! I read chapter 50!! After all that pain and suffering he went through, Mr. Ma can finally be at peace. I definitely feel bad for him. Loki questioning himself about killing his mentor was also really good, it reminded me of Commander Taylor’s experience in Terra Nova. I really enjoyed it!!! I can’t wait to more of what happens next. (I do have a few questions but I ask them in a different post.)
Moon, I really enjoyed your epilogue to The Obelisk!!! It was heart warming and brought a perfect sense of closure to it!!! The Obelisk has been amazing Moon from beginning to finish!! I think it will definitely hold a place here one of the greatest stories on the dex!!!
Sunnyfox, I read chapter 15!! I wonder what’s going on with Cyrus (besides making a death threat to Jack)? I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait for the next chapter!!

Hey guys, Ben here. So, Chapter 50 released in Leedsichthys. It’s 5 parts long (not 2, as Part 2 may have suggested). Thanks for sticking around for so long, and once again, thanks for reading my story to begin with. Let’s see where do I begin… Hmm, oh yeah, so I guess I’m taking the rest of Spring Break off. So no chapter until Monday or so. Yeah, that’s one of the reasons I was releasing chapters so fast. I’ve been off the past week, so…
Chapter 50 was very difficult to make. I had to make sure everything was correct, all the minute details, so, yeah. Idk why I’m saying this. Just cause?
To occupy myself I’m doing a Q AND A. Yep. That’s right. A Q AND A about the story known as The Arks: Over Heaven. You can ask other questions too… but I don’t see why you’d want to. I’ll answer all of your questions. So please ask as many as you want. Obviously I can’t answer some question like “What will the ending of the story be?”, because, uh, i mean, I can’t tell you that!!
Moon, Ripper’s fate was honestly really sad but was there anything they could do? Fate is arguably inevitable. And Ripper let her ignorance get in the way and let her try to kill Jethezzar. I mean come on the size difference is crazy… what were the chances? I feel really bad because now Needles loses a sister and Ripper loses her life over nothing. Sad, really sad. Also that excerpt you told is in Chapter 92, if anyone is wondering. I really like the subtle detail telling that was actually pretty cool and nobody would be able to catch on unless they REALLY looked and wondered. So, I guess that’s it about The Obelisk! I’ll be waiting, once again. I think an epilogue’s coming out, I forgot. Wonder what that’ll be about.
Sunny I really enjoyed Chapter 14. That Dodo Tales reference was pretty cool, but I can totally see how overprotective Cyrus is of his sister, Cyra. It’s a bit much, to be honest. Come on Cyrus, is he really that much of a threat to your sister? He doesn’t trust Jack, which is fine, but seeing how he isn’t much of a threat… you know what, this happens all the time. Siblings are very protective of their siblings because they are family and they care about them, which is honestly a good thing, but obviously this can backfire a lot and create quite some misunderstandings and troubles. I hope Cyrus realizes that Jack is actually not a threat and has been through just as much as the twins have. He would know as a twin himself. Well his threat wouldn’t really work considering jack’s power, right?
Also, hmm, what is Cyrus’ power if he also has a medallion like Cyra?
Anyway, PrimalApex about the romantic tensions between Jack and Cyra… I don’t really see it yet. Maybe I’m just blind though, LOL.

There will not be a sequel to the Obelisk, so Apex can really do whatever they (She? He?) want in this AU/sequel of theirs! I’m all for it.
I was originally going to write a novella with Needle’s and Ripper’s perspective, specifically taking place at the same time as the Obelisk and all the way to the end. I do not believe I will, however. At least not for a long time, when I’m working on three stories already not including The Obelisk’s edited version. So, for all of you, here is what happened to Ripper!
‘Forest looked up one of the giant rock cliffs and noticed something strange dripping down the stone. He went on, feeling unnerved as the sun disappeared and the sky darkened.’
This is from like chapter 80 or 90 something right before they find Nyx. Forest notices a liquid dripping down from one of the giant cliffs of stone.
Ight, here you go. Jethezzar and Ripper met as planned, after Ripper had had a chance to fight her brother and be beaten again. Needles had warned her to not do whatever she was planning (He had found a message to him from Peeri telling him that Peeri was dead, and warning him about Rippers motives and fate.) Ripper declines and runs away, telling Needles she can do what she wants and it’s all for the best.
She meets with Jethezzar. He’s figured out what she’s planning, and after a few moments of them talking Ripper stands behind him and lifts her talon to kill him, but he whirls and grabs her by the wrist, and they have a little scuffle. He drives Ripper backwards towards the cliff and she’s shoved straight through a sharp cleft of rock. It stabs her through the heart. Jethezzar leaves her to die with a final little message of taunt, and flies off to finish his own mission.
Thus the end of Ripper.

ok so it seems a lot of you want Maddox to be okay. So guess what im going to do! heheehe
Anyway Sunny Teeny Tiny Island was really funny! Im guessing the "only Brutus and Peggie can talk as animals" got retconned, which is how the Titanomyra could talk. Either that, or the heat got to Elizabeth and Eric. Well im really enjoying the more ark dinos/creatures being put in the series (something TTDOT and TTTOSP kind of lacked). Well it wouldnt have mattered either way because the story is good with or without! Alright later.
Wyvernian, it isn’t a true sequel to The Obelisk, as I’ve said before it’s a sort of-sequel. And yes, it’s an alternate timeline or universe to The Obelisk. (As I said when I first asked if I could, I always want Moon to keep the ability for Moon to write a true sequel or sequels and never wanted to stop that.). It will involve a lot of the same characters and will have new characters.
I released a teaser a while ago revealing one of the new characters in my story. If you’re interested, it’s in Achatina and you’d probably want to either google Journey Teaser or look at more by this author on the Dododex page.
