Sorry that I didn’t get to write chapter 27 of jointed mysteries. Something happened to it. When I had to go somewhere, I copied the writing and logged off. Then when I come back, the copied writing wasn’t there. So I have to rewrite it and it’ll take me awhile to think of what’s happening in the chapter again…

The Arks Alternative Timeline: Chapter 0: Introduction
Hey there, if you all scroll down long enough, you might have seen “Chapter 1: Ben.” That was a bit unexpected, and I was just bored and decided to hop onto the fanfiction train.
Anyways, this chapter is more about what this series is all about. From now on, I will be labeling my stories with “The Arks: Alternative Timeline.” The Arks: Alternative Timeline focuses more on a story aspect rather than a game aspect. If you read Chapter 1 you may have noticed that the implant that Ben has doesn’t activate an inventory, or crafting or anything of the sort. Once again, this focuses more on a story aspect, rather than a game aspect. This also means that the domestication of creatures is going to be much more different than in the original game. Another thing to note is that it says “Alternative Timelines.” What that means is that the lore and background characters of the original game, like Helena or Rockwell are not here in this Alternative Timeline, hence the name. Rather, it will have it’s own plot and lore, which will be revealed and explained as the chapters continue. Well, if you read this Introduction, I wish you the best of luck on your endeavors. By the way, I will also be doing the stories in alphabetical order, so the next chapter (Chapter 2) will be in Allosaurus, and I will be doing it in alphabetical order for the Island, which means no DLC creatures until I get to Yutyrannus. Once we get there, I’ll explain where we go next.
The new season will be out soon, I am just planning it out, so technically the longer the wait, the better it will be. Here's a list of new characters for S2:
Loki (good guy, kind of annoying)
Reginald (good guy, the leader of the tribe, which is still around, but is now more of a democracy)

Well, Relating, Chapter 100 is the only chapter thats reached the limit, which is why its even split up into parts to begin with (it was around 30k words long yikes), though those chapters are indeed just as long. I typically refrain from splitting them into parts for easier reading accessibility. You may have noticed some of TAOH has chapters with A and B, but this was only because i was too lazy to put it all in one or i felt like i didnt want it to cover 2 chapters. Also glad to see another TOT reader, though I wouldnt recommend reading it until you’ve read some of the stories involved in the crossover. I’ll update the TOT page in the Wiki to include it soon.
Also, Chapter 21 of JTAC was great! I thoroughly enjoyed it and the personification of Reaper was nice. I enjoy personified creatures in human POV stories because it adds some spark to the human cast and gives it a bit more variety. I do think the fight between Cordor and the others was a bit underwhelming for a “Showdown” but its no biggie. Just remember to keep that in mind for the finale of Section II. Something that would keep you on the edge of your seat is most likely to keep readers as well. Whether it be something heart-breaking, intense, high-stakes, or gut-wrenching. Also, the continuity error of Cordor being able to go around doing stuff even though he should be low level is noticeable, but can be explained in a future chapter. Other then that, good chapter, i’ll be around for 22.
As for the 7 likes on the chapters, I can confirm there are definitely more than 7 of us. Not all of us are super active here as they were, most are active on the Fandom Wiki. Don’t worry about it too much.

Thanks for your feedback! I’ve gotten started on reading ToT and now I’m hoping that Chapter 54 comes out very soon. Also, yeah, if JTAC happened in real Ark it’d be on a PvX server since the tribes fight each other to ascend so it makes sense they’d go for a Titan.
Also, word limits… bro, Chapter 91b of TAOH and Chapter 40 of ToT were 39 and 38 minutes long!! That’s longer than just one part of the chapter 100. Okay I guess no one would make a chapter like that… unless they, for some reason, really wanted to. Okay just curious: what’s the true word limit on Dododex tips when making a story?

Sorry Break-It for the lack of chapters. I am working on the next chapter as we speak. (it is 54, this will be the finale of this saga. It is NOT the last chapter of ToT. But I am not writing 55. 55 will go onto the next person. Which I think will either be Wyvernian or Sunny if she’s back by then and they’ll kick off the next saga.). If you guys would like, I could release it in two parts and you guys can finally get the first half.

Chris, welcome back to Achatina. I’m one of the newcomers to the writing community on Dododex! A lot of great stories have been made while you were gone.
Also, I found some words that were mistyped and didn’t fit in Chapter 15 of JTAC. When Red tells his buddy to put the tribe master in the vault, it’s stated, “a vault hidden in the deep depths of the cave” Cave should be castle. And one that annoyed me more, near the end when Red says, “I should’ve misjudged you.” What I meant to say was “I shouldn’t have misjudged you.” I’m going to post another repost of the chapter with these errors fixed. I probably should double check the doc for errors before posting it. Ben, use that repost for your feedback.

CHRIS!!!! Hey Buddy!!! This is Apex (now known as PrimalApex). The Obelisk is finished!! It finished last year in Plesiosaur. Currently it has 3 new installment stories in the same universe, and Moon’s also planning a remake of The Obelisk called Rune. A lot has changed since you were here last!!!
