Hey Ben, and you too KM! Thanks for taking the time to read my story! I do see how the human x shapeshifter thing could be weird, and how others wouldn't get it. The shapeshifters are kind of meant to be sentient on the level that a kitsune is- like human level sentient, and I see that you understand that. It was kind of a tribute to the kitsune x human thing that happens in Japanese mythology a lot. But yeah, weird, right. Also, my next story definitely isn't going to be like that.
