The Five Talons of Abberation, Chapter Five...

Kiri held a poster in her hands, her fists clenched onto the paper. She turned to Mitsuto, her face nervous. "I can't go to school, Mitsuto!" She said to her Yi Ling. She read over the paper once more, seeing if she would simply wake up, that it was a dream.

ATTENTION CITIZENS!

Starting next week, all citizens under the age of sixteen must enroll in school. We have built a school, called Sanlow education center. We have teachers, and your students will be well educated!

Anyone who doesn't comply will be arrested.

She sighed. What were her and Syaoran supposed to do? She had absolutely no knowledge of anything important in an educational sense- Writing, Reading, Math. Worst of all, she would need a guardian. Somebody to raise her. She didn't want that. She barely knew how to interact with people! She dropped the poster, rushing off to find Syaoran. She hopped on Mitsuto's back, startling the Yi Ling. Mitsuto knew where she wanted to go however, despite being startled. She trotted along the streets, searching for Syaoran. Kiri looked around the town, searching for her friend. After a while, she spotted him, looking at one of the posters as well. She waved her hands in the air, trying to get his attention. "Syaoran!!" She yelled. He turned around, his gaze flicking to her. He walked over to her, patting Mitsuto's head. "We need to get out of here!" Syaoran hissed quietly. She nodded. "Get on." She said. Syaoran's expression became confused. "What?" He asked. She smirked. "Yi Ling can only glide, right?" She said. He nodded. "They can only glide because-" He was cut off as Kiri pulled him up onto Mitsuto's back. She smirked. "Well I taught Mitsuto how to fly." She said. Syaoran scoffed. "You- How- That's not-" He stuttered. "Thats not possible!" Kiri huffed. "Anything can be possible!" She said. Syaoran sighed. "Thats not scientifically possible!" He argued. Kiri rolled her eyes. "Science, schmience..." She muttered. "Just watch her!" Syaoran shrugged. "Okay then." He said, crossing his arms. Kiri looked back at him, gripping the reigns. "You might want to hold on." She said. He sighed, putting his hands on her waist. As she had said, Mitsuto shot into the sky, flapping her wings and flying into the air. He yelped, wrapping his arms around her waist. She laughed. "I told you she could fly!!" He sighed. "And you were right." He admitted. "Let's just go." So Mitsuto flew into the long, metal ruins in front of them, before they were heading into a forest. "Wow..." Kiri said. "I've never been out here before." "Me neither." Said Syaoran. "Its awesome."
